The Citreon C3 was not our original reservation, but it was the vehicle provided-- it was far superior to the Opel Corsa we were anticipating! Every staff member we interacted with was kind and helpful. The lack of clarity and seemingly intentional obfuscation of what charges are owed and applied was slightly frustrating, but hardly impactful.

Quick procedure, no hazzle.

It was horrible, long waiting then young girl who deal with us couldn’t understand There was struggle communication, the vehicle isn’t right then had to go back again miscommunication, she charged me twice over 800.00 then I had to cancel the whole thing and yet money wasn’t credited I had to contact my bank two weeks after that day

Language in Italian in car, not everybody speak Italian, especially if booking in with an international driving licence

No nonsense renting. Our reservation was dropped by a competitor for not having international license. Locauto accepted valid and current national license.

Alamo/Locauto's conduct throughout this rental was completely unacceptable and, in my opinion, misleading.

I specifically booked a Standard Station Wagon through Expedia and paid a significantly higher rental rate to ensure there would be sufficient space for our luggage and, most importantly, for my daughter to travel safely and comfortably.

Upon arrival, I was provided with a much lower vehicle category that was clearly not comparable to what I had reserved and paid for. The replacement vehicle did not have adequate cargo capacity, forcing us to place luggage inside the passenger compartment. As a result, my daughter had to travel in an unsafe and extremely uncomfortable position surrounded by luggage for much of our trip.

To make matters worse, the rental location refused to adjust the rental price to reflect the lower category of vehicle they actually provided. Instead, I was told that because the reservation had been made through Expedia, I needed to contact Expedia. When I contacted Expedia, they advised that they were unable to issue a refund because only the rental company could authorize the price adjustment.

As a result, I have been passed back and forth between Expedia and the rental company, with neither party taking responsibility for resolving an issue that was entirely outside my control.

I paid for a premium vehicle category but received a substantially inferior vehicle without any reduction in price. This is not only unfair, but it also compromised my family's comfort and safety.

I am requesting a full reimbursement of the price difference between the vehicle category I booked and the vehicle I actually received, along with appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, stress, and safety concerns caused by this experience.
