I bought a pair of LØCI shoes expecting a premium, durable, and sustainable product. Unfortunately, after 1.5 years of ownership (used only during the summer seasons, equating to roughly 6–8 months of actual wear), the shoes suffered a complete structural failure.

​The cork insoles completely disintegrated into pieces, the inner heel lining wore right through to the hard inner structure, and the outsoles wore completely flat. Outsole wear can be expected and repaired, but structural failure indicates a faulty product.

​When I contacted customer service with multiple photos, the representative explicitly admitted that the disintegrating cork insoles are a known issue that they have had to correct in their newer models.

Despite admitting to this inherent design/manufacturing flaw, LØCI refused to offer a replacement or a refund. They hid behind their strict 12-month internal warranty, disregarding EU consumer protection laws regarding expected product lifespans and known defects.

​Instead of taking responsibility for a faulty product, their "solution" was to offer me a 50% discount code so I could spend more money on their site.

​If you are buying from an "eco-luxury" brand, you expect the shoes to last longer than a few months of active wear before ending up in the bin. A brand that admits to a structural flaw but refuses to stand behind its product is hard to recommend.

This is a fast fashion brand. The reason the shoes are vegan is because they are the cheapest quality. Great marketing but very poor product that can only be sold online and no one would pay if you saw these in a shop IRL.

Sadly, the fusion line has quality issues but in terms it’s a very comfortable shoes. The customer service is outstanding, they replaced my faulty shoes straight away without a question. Now I have the original platform and I love it.

Customer service is terrible. Paid for express delivery when ordered on 28th November. First part of order wasnt shipped until 8th December but received wrong item so had to exchange. Second part was shipped on the 11th. Only one item was listed as being a 1 to 2 week lead time on shipping. Since then ive been trying to exchange a pair of trainers as the returns portal wont allow me to do it. Customer services are very slow to respond and still have not been able to exchange despite numerous back and forth emails. Based on this I wouldn't order again.

I returned a pair of trainers as they didn't fit, but it's been over 2 weeks and I've heard nothing about my refund. Customer services don't reply to emails or Instgram messages, and I'm still waiting to get my money back.

This is my second and sadly last pair of Loci shoes.

I bout a pair of Origin trainers in June 2024. Having worn them maybe once or twice a week for under a year (very casual wear), the seam began to come away more and more from both shoes.

I contacted Loci about this and they kindly offered a replacement as they "wouldn't expect this to happen". At this point I opted for the Echo trainers.

Unfortunately, another 5 months down the line I am experiencing similar issues - the material is fraying away and the sole on one shoe has come apart from the rest of the shoe. Again, I have used these shoes only for casual wear - simply walking on pavement / roads.

This is a real shame as I love the style and they are comfortable shoes. However, I purchased them based on the sustainability and durability credential Loci has, and have been failed twice on this account. Any positive of materials used to make these trainers is undone when they cannot last a year, unfortunately.

I need to contact the company urgently as an order I made appears to have gone missing and I want to speak with someone at the company for more information. So far no response. It would be useful to have a phone number. Any help would be appreciated.

The website showed the item as in stock and let me purchase it with a clear 3–5 day shipping promise. Ten days later, I’m told there’s actually no stock. Instead of transparency, all I get is copy-paste apologies like: “We are sorry once again for this delay and for any inconvenience that this may have caused.”

Now the latest response is:
“I understand your frustration and apologise for this, unfortunately we are experiencing high demand on the items in your order. I am going to escalate this to a senior team member for an update and we will come back to you by email as soon as possible.”

So they let me buy something that looked available, then admitted after the fact that they couldn’t fulfil the order. Totally misleading and unacceptable!

It’s been 10 days and I’m still waiting. Apparently, it still hasn’t even been restocked.

They are not cheap to buy and I had to pay an extra 60$ for the custom fees! Surprise! They are comfortable, not the most but you know they are a notch over ok. Sole seems good even though it squeaks a lot on certain floors. My problem is mostly than after 1 month of casual everyday wearing (no sport, no nothing), the top layer of my shoes, the colored one, is starting to peel off like a 30$ pair of shoes. It suck! I thought those were quality shoes that would last me a long time but it doesn't seem so :-\ Just cheap labor shoes in a pretty (disagraging) package.

Amazing trainers ! Have been on the search for good, well made stylish trainers for such a long time and these are perfect! Not only are they well made but so comfy , which due to wide feet is usually a challenge. Will definitely be a returning customer!!

After I gave a one star review (see below) customer services got in touch and sorted things out so I have altered my rating .

No reply at all to my requests to find out about my order - I have tried contacting them by email , phone and live chat but heard nothing

I see that Loci has replied to this so I have sent another email, a contact firm and attempted a live chat again

It’s really annoying as if there was a person on the phone to speak to (waited for twenty minutes on the customer service line) I am sure it could be sorted .

These trainers are hands down the most comfortable trainers I’ve had. I have a fibroma under one of my feet and struggled for a long time as all shoes made my foot hurt if I walked for any length of time. Enter Loci and I can go for long walks again! I love walking and use them pretty much every day- they look great dressed up or down. And environmentally friendly too! I can’t recommend them enough!!!

The shoe is actually a very good looking shoe, fits well and I loved wearing them. My issue is because since it’s not real leather when the shoe gets wet, and mine were white, it gets this stain on the shoe. It’s really strange. I’ve never seen it before any other shoe but every time it gets wet or if I need to wash a little dirt off the shoe when it dries, it looks fine but then within an hour, it has these tan spots on it so I really don’t wear them anymore because I just got sick of keeping the shoe white by washing it and then getting these tan dark spots on it which would go away if I kept working on cleaning them up. Very strange.

I have 5 pairs of LOCI Trainers and LOVE them all. Super comfortable and easy to wear. I’m happy the company care about the environment with their Vegan brand. Thank you LOCI. Keep up the great work you are doing. In France, we love you

All my shoes are so beautiful. The colors are vibrant. They are so light weight. And healthy for the planet. The customer service is so personal. I feel like nicki was emailing me back and forth. Yes loci. Ima order 4 more and have the entire collection.

Fantastic product and very fast. I ordered the wrong size and got the correct fit sent out immediately. Service was amazing! Also I’m super particular about socks, and LØCI socks are the best.

I bought some cool trainers for my daughter for Xmas they came and she loved them.
Had a small issue but this was resolved immediately and faultlessly I will definitely recommend and repurchase thank you

When I had a small issue Customer Support were simply incredible in dealing with it promptly and without quibble. You can have confidence in this brand as a quality operation in every way.
