Contacted City Locksmith Gwent because we could not open bedroom window/and had a very quick response ,They came next day, diagnosed the problem and changed the handle mechanism that was broken, I have nothing but praise for an excellent and efficient job well done,I have no hesitation in recommending this company should you need a locksmith

Can’t praise city locksmith enough after my 85 year old mother had a problem with her front door wouldn’t lock nick came out at short notice and sorted the lock mechanism out thank you for looking after her much appreciated mark

Called citylocksmiths out today, to gain access to my summerhouse after losing the keys, He arrived in good time, Gained access to the summerhouse, quickly without causing any damage to the UPVC door and changed the locks. Dishonest and deceitful. False claims on adverts. Tried to get me to sign a blank contract. Drilled a doorlock that probably did not need to be drilled. Damaged and removed other door parts un-necessarily, costing me to replace them. Taught me to find a reputable MLA (Master Locksmiths Association) locksmith on their website. Have now reported to Trading Standards.

Called city locksmith and within 10 minutes he was with us he was just around the corner . Very polite and very helpful . first class workmanship and very friendly . I would highly recommend.

Prompt, professional and courteous and did a good job. However, rather expensive charging £234 to change a front door lock which took him less than 40 minutes to do. I would strongly recommend getting a written quote from the company before you get any work done.

Second time we’ve used Nick in nearly as many weeks for the same problem but a different door!! Came out today on a Saturday at short notice to change parts and replace a lock. Both times he did the job, quickly, efficiently, was very clean and explained how everything worked, with sensible pricing. Glad to have seen him again and hope we don’t need to call him for a while, but if we do, we know we can rely on him. Many thanks

Called Nick as I couldn’t open the front door. The mechanism had somehow gone wrong. The call was answered very quickly and attendance at the house not long afterwards. Nick soon had the door open and replaced the faulty parts. An excellent job. Nick was a very pleasant and professional individual. Would highly recommend him to anyone.
