Excellent service and quick delivery!

Waited for almost 1.5 months for my chair. Selling a chair that is not in stock. No confirmation of the order nor delivery status unless I called. Delivery is delayed. The chair arrived at the wrong address. Absolutely not helpful and I have to reach out to the distributor (Flokk) myself to follow up. Ended up calling almost 10 times and the reply I got when I want to learn more about the delivery arrangement is "I don’t actually know as I am not part of that process"

Ordered a chair and got no delivery date, when chased they said it would be 4 weeks! 6 weeks have gone by and still no chair and they refuse to refund me. I had surgery and needed it for my recovery. Would advise people use another shop. Service is so bad.

Excellent service, excellent chair. I have been meaning to write this review for a while - I've had the chair for 8 months. I rang to talk about getting a chair, initially, and received a lot of guidance based on my needs, and assurance that if I did not like the chair for any reason I could return it - I just had to keep the box. The chair arrived quickly and was easy to set up - and it has been a joy to use. I have not had back pain since I started using the chair and it is comfortable to use. Thank you for excellent service and a great chair. My advice is to call and talk to the company so they can help you to choose.

Despite being a little delay during Xmas period, they are responsive and gave an expectation that is understandable. Good price comparing other stores for the same product, I am happy to visit and purchase for next time

I experienced fantastic service from Lockwoodhume. The chair I ordered is excellent quality and extremely comfortable. It arrived within 2 working days, which was great. Highly recommend!

Excellent Company !!!

So i bought a chair last year and there was an issue with it this year and they mailed out the replacement part quickly and with no questions. Excellent service would definately use again when purchasing office equipment.

I recently bought a black HAG Capisco 8106 from Lockwoodhume and was thrilled with the result. The chair arrived within 3 working days and was easy to put together. It has been extremely comfortable so far and have found the chair adjustments easy to use. It has been a great overall buying experience.

Ordered a chair and thought it would arrive without too much delay; how wrong I was! Phoned and left a message, no reply. Eventually got an e-mail to say the chair would be delivered. It was and it has to be the worst purchase I have ever made. No instructions for assembly and it is the most cumbersome and awkward piece of equipment I have ever come across. Eventually got it assembled and it is so uncomfortable it defies belief. The tilt lever does not work and I have been informed by my Health and Safety Officer that it is not suitable for display screen use. Why, oh why is it being sold as an office chair if this is the case? Shop elsewhere people.

I called up to ask for information about the varier variable balans chair. The advice I received was clear and useful, so I ended up ordering the next day over the phone. Delivery was super speedy and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Absolutely brilliant service from these guys. I needed some advice on the product I was buying. Called and was pleasantly surprised to get an answer straight away, rather than the answerphone call back in a lot of places at the moment. Spoke to a guy named Brian, who took the time to understand my requirements, then quickly called back with an ideal solution. Delivery was within 2 days, faster than advised, and I'm really happy with the product. Literally can't praise these guys enough.

Purchased an office chair to be informed the next day that it was not in stock for another 15 days and if I did not want to wait they would refund me. Emailed to cancel the order and also rang. The operator confirmed cancellation there and then and appreciate their attentiveness to this matter.

Like many of the other reviews, terrible customer service.... however, I'm giving 3 stars as the chair itself was priced below all of the other suppliers I looked at. I ordered a chair early September, on the basis that it would be delivered within a few days. 3 weeks later, was still waiting for it. After several e-mails and phone calls, it is quite apparent that they don't have any sort of process or system to actually make sure that items are collected by the courier. First time I called, was told that it was waiting for collection, then when it didn't arrive, was told that the courier had not collected, it.... and then the same pattern for the next two weeks. At one point, spoke to a gentleman called Brian, who proceeded to tell me that any delivery dates 'are provided in good faith'. Basically, saying that they don't actually provide dates that have any sort of commitment. So, in summary, great prices... however be prepared to wait.

I ordered from this company through Amazon and it was an incredibly disappointing experience.
Order placed 30.10. Stock showing as 7 units.
Delivery promised for 4-6.11.
Delivery period arrives, no tracking information received. Contacted the seller and received a reply from “Jo Hume” with a promise to contact me again by the next day. This didn’t happen.
Contacted the seller again after a few days. They ignored my email, no reply came.
Two weeks after my original order, Amazon email me to say the seller has cancelled the order.
I had developed a painful back condition and urgently needed an ergonomic office chair. I originally chose this seller because of the 4-6 day delivery offer. After 2 weeks, I am now faced with finding an alternative supplier and waiting for delivery. “Annoying” doesn’t even begin to describe the experience.
Now I arrive here to warn others and it seems I am not alone in experience crappy customer service from this company.
My only questions is: How can I give less than one star?

Excellent service after office chair order - although the first one arrived with cosmetic damage, they arranged collection and replaced with an updated model at no extra cost. Also gave a 20% discount on an accessory. Cheers!

Lousy customer service. I ordered a custom made chair and was aware from the outset that it would take about four weeks to manufacture and dispatch. About two weeks after I placed the order, the company approached me saying they didn’t have my chair in stock but could dispatch sth they had. Or else they would have to order from the manufacturer, which I thought they wound do anyway. From that point of time, I would have had to wait another four weeks. Doesn’t inspire you with a lot of confidence that they get the order right after all, so I cancelled. Lockwoodhume is another good example that going cheap comes at a price.

Do yourself a favour and use any other company. If you have a problem with your purchase or want to return it they will dance around your complaints or outright ignore you until you give up. If you do find yourself stuck in this situation please contact the citizens advice bureau for advice and make a complaint to trading standards. Don't let them get away with it.

Very disappointed in this company. Very unprofessional and rude. Refused 4 times to provide a tracking number. The Chair arrived a week late, which wasn't the issue, I simply wanted to ascertain that it had or was being dispatched. The chair arrived in good order, well packaged and was almost perfect, accept one of the screw holes is misaligned. This was a huge issue and took a lot of sorting. Being an engineer, it was rectofiable. This seems to have been reported on other items. Apart from that the chair is great. Would heavily avoid LockwoodHume Office Environments, they appear to be a middle man and a rude one at that.
Unreliable and untrustworthy, very poor reviews elsewhere, be warned.

Unfortunately when my chair arrived it was damaged and had been poorly packaged. Despite a number of emails to highlight this to Lockwood Hume I have had no response. My advise would be not to buy from Lockwood Hume.

I'd initially been very pleased with my chair but after 1 month, having looked underneath the chair to get to the tilt adjustment, I was horrified to see that all of the multiple hex bolts holding the chair body to the base had not been put in beyond finger tight and all required tightening with a hex key. I'm not talking about a quarter turn, each bolt required multiple turns (several mm) to tighten.

I paid an additional feed to have the chair delivered assembled and I have to say that this service was not provided in a full or safe fashion. I could understand that a bolt could work a little loose after some time, but lots of bolts, all of them protruding by 5-7mm? As well as the fact that the service was not well executed I feel that the chair delivered in a condition that was a catastrophic accident waiting to happen.

I have attempted to contact the company about this but they have not responded.
