Last year the service was exemplary and I gave 5 stars. However this year the delivery was booked between 9-12 but I had no communication that it was running late and had to call at 11.50 to check. It was delivered around 2pm. The delivery driver was not friendly and there was no apology for the lateness (nor for blocking the road and getting into an unreasonable argument with another driver) The direct customer service from Logs Near Me was excellent when I called, fast, friendly and she immediately checked with the courier and the fixed period delivery charge was refunded. Quality of the Logs is excellent which is probably most important - and great value.

My second order which arrived on the promised day. Driver again cheerful and helpful. Again it was raining but the crate was foil wrapped so logs remained dry. Burns well and gives out plenty of heat. Would recommend and will use again.

Logs arrived a day earlier than planned with no warning to give us time to move vehicles to accomodate delivery. I had requested a small van (when offered!!) as our situation is not ideal but instead a huge lorry was sent which instigated all sorts of problems. I felt very sorry for the driver/delivery person who struggled for a long time in the dark to complete the delivery in a place which was not convenient for us! Very bad organisation and communication. Logs themselves on the small side, not very many larger ones. It would be nice to have 50/50. Very quick burners!!

Fast service, great logs, but quite pricey.

Timely arrival. Well packaged crate. We chose hornbeam hardwood and they certainly are proving value for money.

Our order of logs arrived very quickly on the promised day. The delivery driver was very polite and helpful. The logs are excellent quality and were tightly packed in the crate. I phoned the helpline with a query and they were very helpful. The price is excellent too.

I recently ordered a pallet of Hornbeam logs, a species I'd never tried before and I'm delighted with them. They burn well for a good length of time and my stove stays in overnight making it so simple to kick it into life these cold mornings.

Quality and packing of the logs was very good. No tracking or contact on the delivery and waited all day until 3pm so Delivery was poor. The pallet was literally ‘Dumped’ in the middle of my driveway and the driver claimed I had signed for it but I wasn’t even there. I left him clear instructions on my front door but he obviously didn’t bother read it!!
He returned the next day to move it closer to where I wanted it.

delivered on time , friendly helpful driver, put the tightly packed pallet in garage where it takes up little room, the quality looks excellent and regular in size, low moisture ( checked myself ) - vast improvement on previous suppliers builders bags of mixed quality - heard this hardwood hornbeam burns especially well

Order was very easy online and the delivery date was within a week. Logs sa with previous orders were of good size , clean and of good quality. How ever on removing the plastic covering from the crate I found the crate was not quite as full as it should be. I emailed to tell what I had found and by return text they sorted the problem in a way I was satisfied with. So all excellent as usual. Thanks.

Placed my order on 6th December for delivery on 28th December 2021. Over 3 weeks before delivery, but no communication received during that period and no delivery on 28th. Will wait to see what the 29th brings!!!!

After posting the above I was contacted by Logs Near Me who very apolagetic and was told that they would get back to me with a new ETA. I was contacted on the 29th and advised that my order would be delivered on 30th. Delivery took place as promised. Logs were clean and neatly stacked. Thank you for promptly dealing with the non delivery of my order. Burns well giving off good heat.
