Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. Cute cake but buttercream flavour error?
Cake looked very cute and prefect for what I wanted. However the buttercream just tasted like pure butter as if the flavouring had been forgotten. Very disappointing!!

This icing on the cake is an American style buttercream icing using butter and sugar to make a sweet and smooth icing.

The cake was lovely and very special to me as it was for my one-year-old’s birthday. I was really happy and excited to collect it, but I felt a bit disappointed by the service. The lady who served me didn’t smile or greet me, and the interaction felt unfriendly. As someone who works in customer service, I couldn’t help but feel slightly judged, which took away from what should have been a joyful moment.

I got the Carmel biscuit cake. The cake was absolutely delicious. Very moist. I just expected it to be bigger since it said serves 8. Maybe my family are just big backs. Hardly fed 2 adults and child.
