The paper bag broke...
Picked up the Medium size Chocolate Caramel cake from London Bridge stations. Everything was great until I've received a paper bag to put the cake in, as soon as I left the shop the bag ripped/broke and the cake fell on the pavement. Unfortunately the cake was heathy and the bag wasn't resistant enough, I dont think cakes should be packed in the paper bags... this just doesn't make sense. I was very upset as this was a Baby Shower cake which got completely ruined. Didn't have time to go back as the taxi was waiting for me. Very disappointed.

Spring Cupcakes are overwhelming! Too much going on.
The spring cupcake flavours were actually not great. There is too much going on - the garnish on top is overpowering, the cupcake centre has something inside which is just too sticky and sweet.
They were really disappointing.

These are a selection of Lemon & Elderflower and Raspberry & Rose cupcakes, filled with rose marmalade, all finished with an array of toppings such as macarons, meringues, dried rose petals and flowers. I am very sorry to hear they were not up to your liking.
Your feedback is important, and we appreciate you sharing your experience. We will pass it on to our product development team for consideration in the future.
Perhaps I could suggest trying our classic red velvet cupcakes on the next occasion - with cream cheese icing, these are a little simpler and less sweet.

The only place to order birthday cakes
I always order birthday cakes from Lola’s. They really are the best of the best cakes. I’ve never had any issues with Lola’s other than perfection every time. I have personally always collected my cake rather than had it delivered but I’m sure the delivery service is fantastic!

Rude and unprofessional staff
Rude and unprofessional staff at Lola's London Bridge stand. They claimed the payment for my order was declined whilst in fact my banking app showed the transaction went through successfully. I provided my card and account details so they could check that all was in order, but they wouldn't see reason and would not let me leave with my purchase until I paid for a second time which I refused to do. Eventually I had to leave without my order and had to then follow up with their head office to obtain a refund, as it turns out that indeed the payment went through successfully. The head office personnel needed to verify with the London Bridge staff that indeed my story was truthful before they could issue a refund. I felt I was treated like a thief first and then a liar. A lot of hassle for something so simple, the staff could have handled the situation a lot more effeciently and respectfully.

With issues which are store related, so that we can help and provide assistance needed, we do need to discuss the occurrence with both sides to make sure everything is in order as we do not have the access to the store till system. I am glad to hear this was resolved.
Of course, I will be sure to pass the feedback onto our store and area management so that they can look into this issue directly and implement retaining where necessary.
