Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the icing and overall experience with our Red Velvet cake.
This cake uses a cream cheese icing, which has a sweet and tangy flavour.
We may suggest for you our other cake designs featuring either buttercream or ganache icings that you may enjoy more if you did not like the taste of cream cheese icing.
Please note as well that our cakes are typically stored refrigerated ahead of your delivery or collection. If you experienced difficulty with the cutting of your cake it may be that you have not allowed for the time needed to allow your cake temperature, as we recommend your cake is given at least 2-3 hours out of the fridge before serving.

Wrong candle given
Had a pink themed birthday and purchase a pink candle but when I collected my order, there were no pink candles in stock.
Surely when I am placing my order, stock levels should have been checked, either in your warehouse or at the store of collection.
Had a replacement candle which didn't fit our colour scheme and wasn't used. Complete waste of money.

Great experience
Had to make a change to my order and Lola’s helped it go so smoothly. There was then a slight issue on pick up but was handled so well and professionally. I was very impressed.

I would definitely recommend Lola's Cupcakes. I recently bought a red velvet birthday cake for my partner and I have to say, it was delicious, everyone loved it! Tasty, moist and very well decorated, presented and packed. Very friendly lady at the shop when I went to collect it at Westfield Stratford. The only negative to me is that I think they are a bit pricey. £40 is a bit excessive as the cakes are not massive. Maybe £35 sounds a bit better. But overall, a good experience for a special occasion. I have tried their cupcakes before and they are also great and look spectacular.

Fresh great red velvet cake & vanilla
The representative was pleasant and the cakes I purchased x 2 were very fresh. Cooked perfectly. A few times I've bought over cooked/dry ones from other branches. Also I always buy lola cupcakes and big cakes however no one ever asks me about my loyalty card or anything. This time I asked the lady serving me and even though I completed the purchase she happily said she can update this by adding my email. This was at the Westfield Stratford kiosk. I've signed up in your ealing branch for loyalty even though I've been purchasing for years. Since then I've never been asked about it. I'd really recommend you prompt staff to ask if customers have an email etc otherwise what's the benefit of this? I don't understand
