Collected my birthday reward from stratford westfield. Good selection of flavours. This is the 2nd year I have collected and you would think the staff would at least say happy birthday but they don't, they are just looking serious and just say which one do you want better customer service would be good.

Firstly, the cupcakes taste delicious!😋. I have bought these cupcakes for a friend's and my niece's birthdays!!. I even had a sneaky cake for myself🤣. The staff were friendly and helpful and It was such a treat to sign up on line and be treated to a cupcake for free. It was my niece who mentioned about signing up which l did on the spot.! Amazing fresh cake

The order arriving as arranged. Asked for names to be added on the morning of delivery, which I had completely forgotten when I placed the order and guess what , the names of my daughter & son was there. The packaging was excellent, I could take it home safely during rush hour on the train. And of course the Carrot Cake , something to die for was absolutely Yummy. Everyone loved it. Thanks to Lola Cake.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Lola’s Cupcakes for years and have always associated them with special occasions, especially my birthday. Unfortunately, my most recent experience at their Stratford store was really disappointing.

I had previously been told I’d receive a free birthday cupcake as a Love Club member, but was then informed in-store that there’s now a £5 minimum spend — which contradicted what I’d been told. The staff member was also quite cold and unwelcoming, which made the experience feel even worse.

To add to that, I was told my usual Strawberry & Cream cake had been discontinued “years ago,” despite it being something I’ve ordered consistently in recent years. I ended up buying cupcakes instead, but they were carelessly packaged and damaged by the time I opened the box.

Customer service afterwards was polite but didn’t really reflect the level of disappointment.

Sadly, what used to feel like a brand that valued loyalty and its customers has lost its special touch. It now feels more transactional, and focused on spend rather than customer experience.

Overall very good.
However, chocolate fudge cake needs just a little less icing all around
