ABSOLUTELY AVOID!

ABSOLUTELY AVOID!

Had a friend who came to this clinic and had a great result when she had a mole removed from her face. She did however warn me about making sure about checking the pricing on before going through with the procedure. When booking over the phone, they asked for a non-refundable £50 deposit (which is not stated on their website). If you do go through with the consultation, you cannot leave until you pay £249 (which the £50 deposit is contributed to).

The entire consultation fee is wavered if you do go through with the surgery of your choosing.

I went in for a mole removal but was not given the full disclosure choices of mole removal (shaven, incision, frozen or cauterised). I was only given the choices of shaven or incision when going through the consultation with the doctor. Was then passed through to the room next door by a 'colleague' explaining different payments with either shaven or incision to me.

Their website states that all mole removal procedures start from £295 but i was quote £1399 in TOTAL!!! That's for consultation AND one mole removal!

I am aware cosmetic mole removals are expensive, however, this was for one mole on my body which is covered by clothing majority of the time but wanted the mole removed when wearing bikins etc in the summer. My friend had a mole removed on her face for £599 including consultation fee!

I asked how could they justify that price and they just responded with, 'that's how much we charge'!

When I said no thank you, they were very quick to let me go lets just say and also take my £249 for a 5-10min consultation.

BE WARNED. Please DO as much research as you can and find clinics with better reputation and transparency with not only price but procedures too. Don't be fooled just because it's on Harley Street in London, that you'll get the best service. Not at all.

I would not normally put down a review…

I would not normally put down a review on something as significant as medical advice. However, so impressed am I with the professionalism, advice and guidance throughout my situation, as well as post-care service, I feel obliged to say that I would happily recommend Dr Iñigo de Felipe for whatever your requirements.

RUN 🏃🏽‍♀️

RUN 🏃🏽‍♀️. AVOID. I THINK THESE 5 star reviews are fake! Either that or they are too rich to realise they are being robbed.

I went to have a VERY small lipoma removed. On the website it said £295, I was told over the phone it would be £295, I get there and they want to charge me almost £900.

They can go to hell, I’m not paying £250 for a consultation, it was a sham, she told me what I already knew, that it was a lipoma. If they were honest and just removed it for that initial price I would have happily paid. I couldn’t have got out the office and down the stairs fast enough. Daylight robbery.

I’ll order a scalpel and remove the dam thing my self.

5 minute consultation for £250

5 minute consultation for £250 , very keen for me to sign up and pay cash for £1.5k procedure , however , when I called back to confirm private healthcare authorisation they seem to have no interest and apparently don’t accept payments from private healthcare providers ?

Sent several follow up emails and calls to and no response.

Hence I’ve had to revert to a different clinic.

Appalling from start to finish

Appalling from start to finish. Went to see them about a mole. Was told it needed to be removed at a cost of £999. I challenged this as had been told on email it would be £500 and so they said 'oh ok £500' - obviously they just charge what they think they can get away with. Doctor removed mole (took less than 5 minutes), announced it was definitely borderline cancer and disappeared - no discussion with me over what might happen etc. When I finally got the biopsy results through (after a good deal of chasing) they just sent the lab report with no explanation. I read the scientific terms and thought it meant I had cancer. Fortunately forwarded to a doctor friend who said no it meant benign but would have expected the clinic to at least have included a one liner in the email to say it's ok it's benign!

My son had an appointment yesterday at…

My son had an appointment yesterday at 96 Harley Street. A gray strand appeared in his hair, so he was very worried because he is barely 19 years old.
The doctor was a Greek woman. After filling in the form that they gave us, the doctor came out in the corridor, looked at his hair with her eyes and said that there was no problem, and that there was no need for an official examination with a consultation because he did not have any diagnosis, he was fine. Until finish the unofficial conversation we started in the hallway, she opened the office door, we went inside, after two minutes we finished the conversation and without any examination, nothing she charged us 249 pounds. That was unprofessional, humiliating.... would say real crime, if someone looks you in the eye and tells you that they don't want to charge you because there's nothing for it, and in the end she charged again.

A shambolic outfit - I’d not go back

A shambolic outfit. I’d not go back
I was very disappointed with this clinic.
They told me my appointment had been delayed by an hour giving me 30 mins notice.
They tried to charge me for a £50 deposit that I had already paid and then the doctor I saw was not on the specialist register and I could not claim on my insurance.
My appointment was 4 weeks ago and I still haven’t received a letter or report following my visit.
The whole place seemed shambolic!

Terrible

Terrible. I paid £279 for the Turkish lady to tell me she doesn’t want to see me there again….. all in all before I went to this place I self diagnosed myself with sobarrheic dermatitis. Then the “specialist” told me the same rubbish I read online and prescribed me with a bunch of medication that I had to pay for … that did not work AT ALL. My main concern was, I did not want my hair to fall out as to the reason why I urgently went there as this place is meant to be one of the best places to go to. This lady told me nothing. And now 2 months later I’m sat here with bold patches on my head. Literally going bold. I’m 20…. And have long curly hair which has now all fallen out. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. NOT WORTH UR TIME, STRESS OR MONEY. and I didn’t like how this lady treated me either. Very disrespectful and not helpful at all. ( I was sat in her chair for 5 minutes and I paid £279 for no resolution … now that’s taking the mick if you ask me)

I attended this clinic in late December…

I attended this clinic in late December 2023, for a head cyst removal. Though I attended my appointed 15mins due to Network rail engineering works on my line, staff/ Dr. were still pleasant and understood my explanation upon arrival.

My wait wasn't long at all, got to see the Dr. who was going to do my surgery for consultation. Then meet with one of the managers in regards to pricing. Now looking at the other comments I can understand what people are saying about pricing, I was somewhat prepared about the prices ranges as I've been to a private practice before for other medical reasons but even I was a little taken back on how it differed from their website. That being said they did reduce the price of my consultation due to me doing the surgery there and then instead of coming back for another appointment on another day.

My reason for the four star instead of five......I think there needs to be more clarity on price ranges as stated before, they do differ from the online prices. I can understand it's a business but I think just having a price range board shown at the clinic could help customers think about how to proceed forward in their decision process especially in these turbulent financial times so people can save or budget accordingly e.g. perhaps doing a trail of what retailers are doing now.......showing online prices on their websites (slightly cheaper prices) on a first come booking, first serve basis and having a disclaimer saying prices may/will differ when visiting clinic if appointments are not booked online...just food for thought?!!

Nonetheless, my surgery was a success the Dr. and nurse who in attendance did an really awesome job of removing my cyst which was small/medium size, was told by the Dr. that my cyst (which had regrown in the same place after being removed several years before) was infected and they were able to remove the cyst sack successfully, which was great news for me. I'm healing great and I'm due to come back in 10days time to get my stitches removed.

Just so people are aware my cyst removal cost me £1399 inclusive of consultation and stitches removal. May seem pricey BUT they did the job properly and just to add you are paying for private surgery from real qualified nurses and Dr.'s.
Again my cyst was small/medium on my head so pricing maybe cheaper in other cases so just be prepared.

All staff from receptionist, manager, consultation/Dr. and nurses were all polite. They do answer all your questions so don't be afraid to ask away when needed. Recommend!

Absolutely disgusting service!

Absolutely disgusting service!! They literally robbed me of £300!!! Will never recommend this clinic!!! Literally saw my child for 2 minutes, counted her warts and told us to get lost. Laughed in our faces. I was literally crying i was so shocked and appalled by their service. I thought clinics at Harley street are meant to be the best private medical service. I am so upset and angry.
