Paid 3k for a custom made copper bath back in January
After being promised endlessly it was coming and being made transported etc etc the messages stopped in May
No longer able to contact them
All the communication I sent was ignored after that
Do not use them
The website is still live to buy and pay for things that will never be delivered
They are apparently filing for liquidation although there’s no mention of this on the website
Do not go near these people

This website is fake its phone number diverts to my 10 year olds mobile! Only found out after loads of voicemails chasing up orders!!! Do not order from here

Now selling baths on eBay whilst not delivering on their existing orders!

You can find their listings when searching for 'Copper Bath' on eBay. They are trading under the name 'copper_tub_emporium' but London Encaustic is clearly stated under the 'Business seller information' section.

Absolutely horrific - lied to throughout. Absolute horseshit excuses about shipping containers stuck in ports, arriving next week etc. I ordered my bath in the middle of January! still nothing. £2600 probably going into this con artist - who is still selling by the way - pocket. I will be suing unless a refund is issued this week.

Total con artists... PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE. They will take your money, you MIGHT receive a bath and when you do, it will be a cheaply made, faulty one that is certainly not what you paid for.

Also been chasing an expensive order, no communication, phone lines dead, social media off line, all the signs of a company who’ve gone bust. Steer clear, do not order from them. A big con.

I made an order for some tiles, and have not received now months later - I cannot get ahold of anyone via email or phone and have had ZERO communication since the beginning when I got told I'd get these in 2 weeks

Have now disputed my order via american express - avoid this company!

This company are fraudsters please do not use. We ordered a copper bath, they took a large deposit and the bath never arrived. On chasing no one is answering calls or emails.
Very annoying and I hope this review prevents anyone else having the same experience

We ordered a bath from this company it took a very long time to be delivered after it was installed and was being used e noted that the nickel plating was coming off reported it and sent pictures they eventually accepted liability and told us they had ordered another
and it would take two months to come i started chasing for updates when it supposedly arrived and was booked in for delivery was told bath was damaged that anoher wold be ordered another two months then told that they didn't know when it would come got my credit card company involved who also chased company time and time again in the end i demanded a full refund then they ignored all further correspondence by me and my credit card company Please avoid these people they are NOT TRUSTWORTHY OR HONEST

i order a sink in May 2022 and they delivered the wrong sink in October 2022. ive still been waiting and was told it was on a container on numerous occasions. i have just tried to contact them and their phone lines are dead so no way of contacting them. They are still accepting orders on-line. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER AS YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE IT. I

Friend had ordered from them, same old lies like everyone else that it was in delivery then when not received was going to be delivered now told the company in in liquidation when it's not.
Clearly a con don't order from go elsewhere, if you have ordered get the bank to reclaim the money and fast

This company is a scam. It may exist but you won’t receive your product, you can’t get hold of them via phone or email and they limit comments on their social media. AVOID AVOID AVOID

We ordered a bath in January, with a 6 week lead time, only to be told weeks later that it would be the end of May, and we're still waiting! Communication has been non-existent for over 1 month now, and as others have said they aren't replying to emails and the phone line cuts off.

Thankfully we were able to get our money back from the bank! Some advice to anyone who has paid by debit card - the 120 days dispute time limit applies from the expected delivery date, not the transaction date, so challenge your bank if needed.

Absolutely avoid this company at all costs - they're obviously in difficulty and burying their head in the sand at this point. Good luck to anyone else waiting on a delivery from them.

Very disappointed. Customer service very poor. There was some staining on the bath after a few months use (have a ridiculous email from them suggesting I shouldn't have left standing water in it...it's a bath!!), they recommended and sent out a polish which has ruined the finish of the bath. I've been waiting for a replacement since February. They've now stopped replying to emails and phone number goes dead when you ring.

Complete and utter fraud!!! Connie & Steve are repulsive liars!!! The level of communication & service that is delivered is embarrassing!
We placed our bath order in December 2022... We are now over half way through 2023 & still no sign of bath. We have been told multiple lies, about the bath getting lost, then damaged and now apparently a new one is going to be air shipped over. They have now disable their phone lines so no way of getting through to them. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.
Fortunately we have got American Express our credit card provider fighting our fraud case.

We ordered one of the Mae concrete basins in yellow (£840). When it arrived, it had brown staining on the corners. We had to send it back and get another one - fine, except when the new one arrived, it had the same issue. It also arrived without an brackets or any instructions on how to fit it - given how heavy it was this was an issue. The tap holes were also the wrong size for all the taps on their website - Steve recommended using a file to make them bigger! We ended up sending back for a refund but it took many months and multiple phone calls to get my money back. Would not recommend.

Absolute liars, I ordered and paid for tiles and was told two weeks delivery, after a month I was promised they were on their way and I would receive an update phone call, obviously never happened and no tiles arrived. Had to get a refund from credit card. Steve you are a dishonest fraud.

Avoid this company at all cost we ordered a basin in December which we never received so asked for a refund 2 months ago and still not received our money. Steve and Connie now don’t even pick up the phone to us so we will have to go to small claims court to get our money back. They are still active on instagram and taking new orders so basically scamming people!

Ordered a bath in June to arrive in time for fitting in our new bathroom this summer. Order confirmed and money promptly taken but then...nothing and now the business is permanently closed. We have tried again and again to contact this company, being fobbed off with 'the owner is on holiday' to simply no answer. To say we are upset is an understatement!!! Going to have to try and recoup our money through the credit card company. Disgusting and cowardly behaviour.
