Stephen form london roof and guttering is a very nice guy and I have been using their services on a variety of projects over the last couple of years. I find him to be honest and fairly priced. If you find he doesn’t pick up his phone it’s the nature of his work as he’s generally high up on a ladder or a roof top but he will get back to you.

Steve and his assistant came promptly to replace my old, leaky gutter with a new one in the same style. They were every well organised, and completed their work efficiently and cleanly. I will not hesitate to use them again.

Very knowledgeable, very responsive and although it has taken a few visits to resolve the problem, I trust them entirely and would recommend them to anyone - there are some cowboys out there, so it's very reassuring to find someone who charges reasonably, knows what he's doing and will actually do it.

My only concern is that you do have to chase by phone to get things booked and agreed.

I can only give praise to Steve and London Roof and Guttering.
Steve came in to unblock a gutter downpipe on a 3 storey townhouse that had been blocked by recent roof works done by another company.
Steve was direct and clear about the problem and explained how he resolved it. This was all done at a fair price. We will definitely be using them for any future roof or guttering problems.

Prompt, and got the job done UN

I must admit I am shocked at the high reviews for this company. I’ve found them completely non-responsive, ignoring all emails and never returning any calls. I first called Steve in November explaining the issue and followed up with an email with pictures of a slow roof leak. He said he should be able to look at the issue the at the end of the week but would confirm after my email. No response for a couple of days so I called again. He said he could do the Friday. Friday morning I phoned to confirm and he said he would come around 2pm. He turned up after 5 when it was dark and quite pointless looking at the roof. He said he could do the following Tuesday. When I phoned Monday to confirm he said he had issues with his van so again could no longer do Tuesday. No courtesy to let me know.
It was eventually agreed for a Friday when he arrived an hour later than the agreed time, looked at the issue and said he would give me a quote by the end of the week. He said he could complete the job by Christmas. Needless to say, the quote did not come and I had to phone again. More apologies and promises of the quote being sent by the end of they day. Again nothing for a week. A month later (well past Christmas) I emailed him asking if he was able to give a quote for the work or if he could still do the work. No response again.

I feel completely messed around. Steve simply isn’t interested but keeps making false promises. If he’s never responding now, what hope is there if there are actually any issues with the work down the line?

Steven responded quickly and solved our issue on the day. He was very professional throughout and I would definitely recommend him. We have other works to be done and will use him in the future.

Excellent service! We had an issue with the roof and guttering which had caused water from the outer wall to come through inside the house and damage the inner kitchen wall. Steve responded quickly and clearly explained the issue and what needed to be done. He was efficient in getting the job done and the price was reasonable. He also gave a 5 year guarantee. I would definitely use them again and recommend to others! 👌
