Our workplace organised a session and we had someone coming in. It was a very informative session on self defence, we also got to practice some moves. I feel I got some really good tips on what I need to do in such a situation and some things I can get to help me feel safe. Would recommend!

Sam was very good explaining all the techniques, what was legal and knew his stuff. Would recommend this Academy for beginners courses or more in depth teaching. Thank you Sam for coming along this afternoon and making the class very relevant.

This was organised through my work. It was great to learn about the safe ways to protect yourself if you find yourself in that situation [hopefully not]. I just hope I remember to do it in my fight or flight reaction!! It was great to teach others in the office the next day some useful techniques.

Sam was amazing - the class started with some really helpful theory preparing us for tools we could use in self defence (and what tools not to use!) & how to stay calm in a situation when under attack. Then we learnt some great moves to defend ourselves using classic ju-jitsu techniques
I wish I’d learnt this at school, I can’t believe I’ve gone 30 years without even knowing the basics!

Sam was great and took 16 of us from the office through theory and practical self defence. Everyone loved it and it could be useful if ever any of us was in a difficult situation!

Sam is very patient and extremely knowledgable. I would 100% recommend to book a session. It’s confidence boosting and eye opening.

Had a great session on self-defence!
We covered really practical stuff, like staying safe while walking home late at night and the reality of using legal self-defence spray. It wasn't just theory, we got stuck into the practical side of how to actually fight back if needed. I feel much more confident being safe in different places.
Highly recommend!

I attended a self defence class at Amazon, conducted by Sam. He is an excellent instructor—knowledgeable, patient and kind. He explains techniques clearly and creates a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable and confident. I’ve learned so much from his session and would highly recommend him and the academy to anyone looking to build self defence skills and confidence.
