Such a great training, giving you life skills for when you may need them.

My firm has been working with the London Self Defence Academy for the past three years and there is always amazing feedback from the attendees. The sessions with instructor Sam offer the chance for our employees to learn tips and advice about how to be safe and aware of our surroundings, a handful self-defence techniques and break away tactics. Sam was a brilliant instructor, very engaging and provided helpful takeaways. We look forward to next time!

The theory and practical moves were really clearly explained, and it felt like a safe environment to ask questions and practise. The content was really valuable. I'd really appreciate the important work London Self Defence Academy are doing and would highly recommend this class.

An absolute must for all women and girls. We did a 2 hour intro class which was split into theory and practice.
Sam the instructor is brilliant. He explained everything very eloquently, had an answer for all the questions we threw at him and lots of stories to make it all come to life. Loved him!

This was a group session which my workplace organised. I thought it might be an intimidating experience but it was totally the opposite, it was fab. Sam was brilliant at explaining everything really well and with a wealth of knowledge armoured us with some insightful nuggets and approaches. I would recommend this to all females starting with school kids/girls I think it would be super helpful for building a future for them were they are able to cope with potential issues they may face as a women

We had so much fun during our corporate self-defence and learnt a lot in today's session! Sam was a great instructor. It was the right balance of practical techniques and theory.

Also, all the communication with the management prior and after the session was very professional - always quick to respond and very clear.

Sam and Paige were both very professional and willingly adapted sessions for our young people.

Head Instructor, Sam, delivered a fantastic, engaging and informative workshop to a small group of students at BIMM London during our Respect, Consent and Personal Safety Awareness week.

Sam instantly created a very comfortable environment in which the students felt relaxed and able to ask questions. The session was a great balance of focus on prevention of violence and how to avoid potentially threatening situations and the more physical side of self-defence.

Although this learning had the potential to be quite heavy, Sam was great at re-instating that physical defence is very much a last resort and something that the students will, most likely, never have to use.

The demonstrations of the self-defence moves were clear and there was ample time afterwards to practice what had been learnt.

Very good training, useful and well explained.

Instructor Sam came to our home to teach a self defence session with myself & my teens. He was brilliantly engaging and explained everything perfectly. It was so useful - already I feel empowered to look after myself a bit more. There was some theory followed by some practical, was so interesting & helpful. We’re really looking forward to next weeks session.

We had the best time as a family when we took our class with Sam! The kids fully engaged and I found it extremely useful for my peace of mind as an adult.

I'm am a 65 year old male and I found the one-to-one instruction exceeded my expectations and hopes. The hour wizzed past. Samuel is a fabulous instructor and made the class interesting, informative, and quite unexpectedly, great fun. Admin was highly efficient. I can highly recommend London Self Defence Academy, and will be doing so to my friends and family.

Our child participated in a short series of self-defence classes for teens and it was really well done. The class was really well organized, moved quickly and was definitely age appropriate. In particular, they explained victim rights under UK law and basic martial arts techniques. The goal was to build confidence without encouraging overly agressive attitudes/actions. Our child felt more confident from the 1st class. Great eye opener!

Sam came and gave us some private self defence lessons after my son was mugged and we not only learnt lots but we had a great time! Sam was brilliant and it was money very, very well spent. I highly recommend this experience!
