My experience with Longbridge Financial was exceptional! Lauren Domzalski was my reverse loan consultant. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and made the entire process from beginning to end a breeze. She is an experienced, knowledgeable and professional individual who is also very personable. She was with me every step of the way from loan origination through closing. I felt very comfortable and confident in the process thanks to Lauren. Alyssa D'Auria was my loan processor. She was very organized and professional. Thanks to her expertise we were able to process all the required documents quickly and close the loan. The entire Longbridge Financial team from start to finish is a well-run process.

I'm writing this review to express my 8 for the service provided by my reverse mortgage loan officers : MELISSA TOFIGHI AND MEGAN WATTS. They went above and beyond, both professionals, knowledgeable, experienced. They had my best interests at heart and were honest about pros and cons, always answered my calls and replied to emails. I had researched the Reverse Mortgage industry for some time before deciding to proceed.. I found very high reviews of your company and went with my instincts.. I met with several obstacles in the beginning, not so much with your company, but with the broker I was using...

I ended up being placed in contact with one of your best loan professionals, Eric Hurtt... From that day forward he made me feel like my success in the endeavors I was undertaking was our challenge not just mine... And we went through some challenges... But the entire time, even when I was becoming discouraged he asked me to believe in him and it would all work... Which I did and it all worked out...

As for what I could see your company doing better would be to not have so many fingers involved... If you have one person who is qualified and can get the job done let that person see it through without a lot of unnecessary overshadowing... Make sure everything is done right of course but let them go ahead and get it across the finish line...

There were a couple of times things seemed to fall in a rabbit hole and it took precious time to get back on track.. In my situation I had a 90 day window to get this done and I did not get funded until day 89... If it would not have been for Eric I am confident it would have not been on time at all... Others in the food chain did not seem to see the same urgency... But it all worked out great and I am quite satisfied... If possible please give Eric a raise and a party in his honor... Thank you..

When my property tax was delinquent and resulting in my property being foreclosed, Ms. Johnson contacted me and gave me the necessary details and advise on what preventive measures to take to prevent the foreclosure, which I did. In short, Ms. Johnson is an asset to Longbridge Financial company. Thanks.

I have a serious concern for vulnerable seniors, because reverse mortgages operate like mafia-style loan sharks. My mother was never informed of the terms — the originator of the mortgage did not explain anything to her the day before the closing. There was no counseling, no clarity, and no protection. They took a vulnerable woman with Alzheimer’s, baited her, and switched her into a financial trap she did not understand.

This is my real life experience as a family member on the other side of a giant financial institution. My family has been seriously impacted by the carelessness and negligence of whoever originated this loan. And now this company simply buys these loans and continues the cycle, without caring where the loan came from or whether the person understood what they were signing.

Families deserve transparency. Vulnerable seniors deserve protection. What happened to my mother should never happen to anyone.

I was very nervous about the reverse mortgage, but Melissa Tofighi and Megan Watts made the process effortless and pleasant. The service and professionalism was extraordinary. The whole process was easy and seamless.

Paloma is very knowledgeable and contentious. She is prompt when responding to questions. Paloma went out of her way to make sure all of my questions or concerns were answered throughly. I would recommend her to anyone.
