I had a unique situation and Adam Nielson listened and determined he could try and work with my situation. And he never gave up and came up with solutions to make the loan happen. In addition, the assistance of Kei’Lani Lagafuaina became invaluable. A big thank you goes out to her as well.

John Young was responsive and very knowledgeable. Because of the unusual circumstance of the HOA where I live contains both patio homes which are connected and single-family homes, there were a few more hoops to jump through, but John made it very easy. Would highly recommend.

The reverse mortgage is perfect for my situation. Since I don't worry about leaving an asset to family members, I have enough money from the reverse mortgage to enjoy my "golden years"" with comfort and even some luxury. And the amount I can borrow keeps growing every year. I did quite a bit of comparison shopping and found Longbridge Financial the best company. John Young, my agent, went out of his way to help me with further analysis I requested that others would not do. I highly recommend them.

Right from the beginning Paloma Remington was ready to help. She explained the whole process to us and when I didn’t exactly understand something she explained it until I did understand everything!

Working with Michael and Darien was a pleasure. Both were very patient, informative, and helped me through every obstacle. I appreciate all that they have done for me.

Shella Sanders was very helpful and personable. I needed help in signing in and she was precise and let me ask questions. Shella was one of the best customer service reps I have ever talked to at any company. Plus it was nice to talk to a customer service rep who actually spoke proper English.

MELISSA TOFIGHI AND MEGAN WATTS went above and beyond in their support of our HECM needs. Melissa worked with us for 18 months prior to our family meeting the 62-year-old thresh hold. This positioned us to be well prepared as she continued to educate us as to all the variables involved. Of all the mortgage providers that we have worked with through the years, Melissa is the best!

I had a wonderful experience with Longbridge Financial. Ali Tofighi was my loan officer and he was truly amazing. He is a senior loan officer at Longbridge Financial and is very knowledgeable about all aspects of reverse mortgages and the financial market. Plus, there was the added bonus that he is very friendly and we enjoyed talking on the phone. The appraiser was awesome and was local. Her estimate was very close to our original guess regarding the property value, which means she knew the market and the real value of my house. We did experience one paperwork hiccup that involved a misunderstanding by one of the Longbridge Financial underwriters. But given the complexity of a reverse mortgage and the involvement of the government, which is naturally intended to protect home owners, it is unrealistic to think you won't run into a few issues with paperwork, which might require a little more time to finalize your loan. Ali was great at facilitating this process and was instrumental in resolving the paperwork snag/misunderstanding we ran into. Overall, my experience was very positive. And I am extremely grateful for the reverse mortgage, which will enable the restoration of my historic home. Many thanks to Longbridge Financial and the expertise of Ali who was instrumental in making this loan happen in a relatively short period of time.
