Great prices

Great prices, rapid dispatch, can't fault them. I was a bit worried as there are a number of bad reviews where people have had unexpected customs charges. All seemed pretty clear to me, maybe they have changed the website or maybe people just don't read things properly. My order was under £135 so the VAT was included and there was no other cost or delay.

The product arrived defective

The product arrived defective
The product arrived defective, my documented claim was rejected without explanation, and customer support was unhelpful throughout the process. Since the item is unused and within the withdrawal period, I was forced to insist on my legal right of return.
Poor customer service, poor communication, and a frustrating experience from start to finish. I will not order from Lordgun again and cannot recommend them.

UPDATE

Thank you for your reply.
I would first like to ask on which specific legal basis the 48-hour reporting period you refer to is founded. To my knowledge, neither EU consumer protection law nor the statutory warranty provisions applicable within the European Union provide for the loss of consumer rights merely because a manufacturing defect was not reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Furthermore, the procedures you describe in your response are not adequately reflected in the standardized return and support options available on your website. In my case, several attempts were required before I received any meaningful response, and only through direct contact outside the standard process was communication finally established.
As a customer, I can only document the condition in which the product was received. This is exactly what I have done. I provided photographs immediately and, upon request, additional video documentation. Despite my cooperation, the process has so far given the impression that the focus is placed on creating additional hurdles rather than on resolving a legitimate complaint.
I also note that many negative customer reviews publicly available on Trustpilot receive very similar responses. In virtually every case, responsibility appears to be attributed exclusively to the customer, while there is no acknowledgement that shortcomings in products, procedures, communication, or customer support may occasionally occur on the seller's side. Readers may draw their own conclusions from this recurring pattern.
I remain willing to cooperate fully and have complied with every request made so far. I therefore expect the matter to be assessed on the basis of the documented defect and the applicable consumer protection and warranty regulations, rather than on internal deadlines or procedures that cannot override statutory rights.

Dear customer,

thank you for your feedback.

We are sorry to read about your dissatisfaction. Unfortunately, the information provided in this review is too generic for us to identify the related order and verify the circumstances described.

We would like to clarify that products reported as defective cannot be returned through the standard withdrawal procedure. If an item is received with a manufacturing defect or shipping damage, this must be reported to our customer service team within 48 hours of delivery. Our assistance department will then provide the appropriate instructions and evaluate the case according to the applicable warranty and support procedures.

Kind Regards

Very fast delivery

Purchased a stem for my bike that I was struggling to find anywhere in the UK.
I did think it would be ages to get it but it was as if not quicker than a lot of deliveries from the UK and the packaging was great hence the 5 Stars.
Thanks!

Terrible return service

Terrible return service , normally a good company which I have bought from on numerous occasions but never again. 3 months I’ve been waiting for my money to be returned after the shoes I purchased were too small. I tried them on (on the carpet) and sent them back at a cost of €25. lordgun then told me they were damaged 3 -4 month after I returned them and will only partially pay back my money, a total rip off so be aware if buying from this site

Dear customer,

Thank you for your feedback.
We’re sorry to hear you’re disappointed, but we’d like to clarify the situation based on the order history and communications we had with you.

Your return was received at our facility and, as part of our standard procedure, it was inspected to ensure it complied with our return policy. During this inspection, we identified scratches on the outer sole of the shoes, which were not present at the time of shipment. Due to the high volume of daily incoming parcels, returns are processed in order of arrival, which is why the inspection was not immediate.

We informed you of the findings on May 21st. Following this, we discussed the situation with you, and you agreed to proceed with a refund adjusted for the assessed damage. The refund has since been processed accordingly.

We always aim to handle returns fairly and transparently.

Kind Regards

Amazing how much I saved…

Amazing how much I saved on a set of Speedplay Power Pedals and two Continental GP 5000 clinchers, The pedals were easily CAD$400 less and the tires roughly 50% the price of Canadian vendors. Make sure to ignore Lordgun's warnings not to ship by Canada Post... probably a leftover recommendation based on recent Canada Post strikes. Fedex and UPS are slightly cheaper, but they'll hit you with heavy charges on import brokerage fees. Five stars.

Still No Refund. Suffered A Relapse Because Of This!

Still no refund!

TWENT THREE DAYS after being told I’d be issued a refund of £297.85, I’ve gotten NOTHING.

Raised a dispute with my bank, both customer service advisors have said they “would not refund me as I have raised a dispute”, and claimed that they advised VISA to refund me three weeks ago.

This situation has left me without a battery for my bike, no money and I’ve spiralled back into depression, alcohol abuse and severe anxiety.

This has had a DETRIMENTAL impact on my physical and mental health.

You could have sent a refund and stopped the dispute.

You’d rather see a man’s life RUINED though!

Thanks for facilitating a full mental breakdown and an alcohol relapse after 2 years sober!

Absolutely DISGUSTING people!!!

Dear customer,

As already explained, once you have raised a chargeback with your card issuer, we cannot process or issue a refund directly. The funds are now controlled by your bank’s dispute process, not by us, and we cannot intervene or cancel it.

We have already confirmed that the refund was initiated before the dispute and provided all relevant information to your bank.

Please direct any further questions to your card issuer, as they are now handling the matter.

We also ask that you stop posting repeated reviews about the same issue.

We consider this matter closed on our side.

No update on order and no response

I ordered several items all of which were shown in stock. My order was placed on the 17th and despite messaging over 2 days ago I’ve heard nothing and it’s the 23rd today with still no update. Completely unacceptable and not worth the hassle if you cannot speak to anyone or get an update.

shocked at the surprise bill

I really should get better at reading reviews before ordering. The fact I will need to pay import VAT, duties and brokerage charges on top of what I have already paid needs to be more clear upon checkout. This is not clear enough and should be something the company seeks to change. I have a bill of £67.07 to pay on top of £252.38 that I have paid for the goods. I am shocked and disappointed. Lordgun please look into making changes on your website so that your customers are more aware of these charges.

Dear customer,

Thank you for your feedback.
We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed by the import charges applied upon delivery.

We would like to clarify that, for shipments to the UK, information regarding potential import VAT, customs duties, and brokerage fees is displayed during the checkout process. This notice is highlighted and customers are also required to acknowledge it by ticking a dedicated checkbox before proceeding with their order.

I ordered a bike with a promised…

I ordered a bike with a promised delivery time of 2–5 days. Instead, the shipment was rejected by the carrier as too heavy and spent weeks bouncing around Europe without ever being delivered.
It has now been over 1.5 months since the order, and I can clearly see that the company has received the bike back, yet there is still no confirmation or timeline for a refund.
This concerns an order of around €2,000, and the lack of accountability, communication, and urgency is completely unacceptable. Failed delivery, no ownership of the problem, and no refund despite the return.
Avoid if you expect reliable delivery or proper customer support.

Update: Now it is more than 2 months since order. Still no refund and the bike has been in their warehouse for about 3 weeks. They are fraudsters for true..

Dear customer,

thank you for your feedback.

We’re sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this situation has caused.

Regarding your order, there were indeed issues on the courier’s side during transit, which ultimately resulted in the shipment being returned to us.

Once the returned item was received back at our warehouse, we initiated the refund process. However, at that point a payment dispute (chargeback) had already been opened with your card issuer. When a chargeback is active, the transaction amount is temporarily blocked and cannot be processed directly by us, as control of the funds is transferred to the card issuer’s dispute process.

We have already provided confirmation to the credit card company that the goods have been returned and that a refund is due, so the resolution now lies with your bank/card provider. They are responsible for finalizing and releasing the funds back to you.

We understand that this process is slow and not ideal, but unfortunately it is outside of our direct control once the dispute is initiated.

I purchased a cargo bike from Lordgun…

I purchased a cargo bike from Lordgun and provided my Portuguese tax ID (NIF) in the order notes before the transaction was completed.
Lordgun’s team read those notes — they replied to a separate request I made in the same field regarding the product description. The NIF in the same notes was ignored.
The invoice was issued without my NIF. In Portugal, a NIF on the invoice is a legal requirement to qualify for a government environmental rebate (Fundo Ambiental). Because it was omitted, I am disqualified from a €1,500 reimbursement.
When I contacted Lordgun, they acknowledged none of this. They simply restated their policy that company details must be added in account settings before ordering — without addressing the fact that their team had read my notes and acted on part of them.
I am not disputing their policy. I am disputing that their team selectively read my notes and caused a direct financial loss through their omission.
The customer service response to a legitimate and documented issue has been a copy-paste rejection.

Reply from Lordgun

Dear customer,

Thank you for sharing feedback and we are sorry for the frustration.

To clarify how our ordering system works: any VAT/NIF-related requests (including VAT exemption) must be completed through the designated fields or the established procedure during checkout and before the order is processed. The order notes are not treated as a validated field for tax or invoicing data, and while they may be reviewed for operational questions, they are not used to modify invoicing details.

In this case, the VAT/NIF information provided in the notes was not processed as part of the invoicing procedure because the formal VAT request step had not been completed. For that reason, the invoice was issued based on the order data as registered at checkout, and it is not possible for our team to retroactively modify VAT-related invoicing details once the order has been finalized and processed.

We also understand your concern regarding the partial handling of the message in the notes. Different types of requests in order notes may be handled by different internal teams depending on operational relevance. However, tax and invoice data specifically require the correct formal procedure, as they are subject to strict compliance rules and cannot be inferred or partially applied from free-text notes.

We recognize this outcome has caused you inconvenience, and we regret that. We encourage clients to contact our customer service team before placing an order if any part of the process is unclear or if they have any questions.

Kind Regards
Lordgun Team
