Beware this is NOT a UK website, you will be caught out by hidden fees
TLDR I paid over £100 to try on a helmet...
I bought a helmet for £151 from lordgun, it's a UK website so I assumed it would arrive from the UK. I didn't pay enough attention to the fine details (which were not on the first page when viewing products to buy) to see my helmet would actually be sent from Italy.
I paid £13 for postage, was hit with a £50 import tax, and then found the size was way way off and I had to return it.
I then had to pay another £20 in postage, and another £25 import tax to Italy. I sent them the Italy import tax email, which they then paid and took off my refund without first asking if I was ok with that.
I don't think it's fair I should have to pay 100% of the cost as it was the incorrect labelled size that meant I had to return it to begin with. At the very least I think they should be paying the import tax to their own country if I have to do it for mine.
They have lost nothing and can keep the helmet to resell, I have lost over £100 with nothing to show for it.
I'm now seeing lots of other people from the UK caught out by the .co.uk website, and then Lordgun just reply telling people "You should have checked our legal page that shows we are in Italy". WHY NOT PUT IT ON THE ACTUAL PRODUCT PAGE BEFORE CHECKOUT TO WARN PEOPLE, with so many others falling victim for the same thing you must know you are tricking people at this point and something needs to be done about this.
If they try to reply with some excuse to this review, please give any reason why you can't warn customers of the extra fees on the initial product page like other websites such as Amazon and Ebay do if shipping international. Why have you made it harder to find in a separate legal page or halfway through the checkout process on a .co.uk domain. (Looks like they replied with no excuse to why they can't better inform customers where they are truly based. They have put much more effort into appearing like a UK based website than they have into warning customers about where they are truly based.)

Always a great purchase experience
Always a great purchase experience. I've ordered many times and always get things shipped quickly to Canada. I was a bit surprised to see the lower ratings here. It's always been a positive experience on my side. 5 stars from me.
Bought two inner tubes with Priority…
Bought two inner tubes with Priority 1/2 day delivery, the delivery company attempted to deliver 7 days later, I was no longer at the property. They charged me 35€ for this, never received. Refused to do anything about this.

Great product but long delivery times and evasive customer service
The product was great and at a great price point. However, they advertise the product as available within 7 days, and then their T&Cs give them 50+ days to deliver it. They were not honest about the delivery timetable when questioned and they continued advertising the product as available within 7 days, while telling me it would take 3 weeks.
ORDERED NOT RECEIVED
I ordered a product on 08/08/25. No goods received. I have queried this with them, they have acknowledged that there has been an error in delivery and that the package has been sent back to their FACILITY. They will not refund until they have received said item. Poor service, well actually no service some seven weeks after my order was placed.

Good deal and delivery time was good too

Inadequate packaging and poor after-sales service.
I inadvertently placed an order from Lordgun mistaking them for another store I’d previously ordered Continental 5000 tyres from.
Their prices are competitive and they shipped my order very quickly.
However, be warned they ship their goods in a plastic mailing bag and not a cardboard box.
This can be fine for suitable goods such as clothing.
Unsurprisingly the branded packaging was completely destroyed in transit which was not welcome as the tyres had been purchased as a Gift.
When I brought the damaged goods to the attention of Customer Services they blamed the Courier.
I could have returned the order but the costs and financial loss involved made that option non-viable.
No offer of a discount for the damaged goods was offered.
My advice: unless the pricing of what you’re purchasing is at a significant discount I would AVOID purchasing from this company as their care and after-sales service is very poor.

Great experience and service
Wow, just amazing experience all round.
Being slightly cautious buying from outside the UK I ordered a few small items which were delivered within a week (very acceptable I think).
After this I then ordered a genuine pair of Oakley cycling sunglasses which again arrived within a week.
Lordgun’s pricing is very reasonable (way cheaper than UK sites! And if you bunch a few items together the postage is very similar to buying from a UK supplier.
I am so happy to use Lordgun anytime, very happy customer here😎
My experience was good
My experience was good, order arrived quickly and well packaged. No issues with customs as below the £135 including postage limit.
No complaints
No complaints. Competitive prices with goods delivered safely and ahead of time. I will be back.
Sent me a faulty TPU Tube
Sent me a faulty TPU Tube, contacted them and they say I have to raise a claim with the manufacturer!!! I have no legal recourse to the manufacturer only with them. Complete charlatans, mighty be cheap but not worth the risk. Reading other reviews it does not seem I am alone

Worst customer service
I ordered a new Cannondale e-bike from this dealer on 28.08.2025 and received it on 01.09.2025. Unfortunately, the bike already had several defects during the first inspection, which I reported within the specified 48 hours: Damaged coating of the shock rod (you get caught with your fingernail (Fox Float X Factory, RRP 799 €)) – a significant technical and visual defect that limited its usability. I had to remove the shock at my own expense and have it replaced by a temporary alternative. Slight scratches on the top tube, which I rated as less relevant with the application of a paint protection film in the meantime. Software deviation in the Shimano bike computer, which did not have the range of functions of four, but three riding modes described by the manufacturer. I carried out a software update myself, as no solution was offered by the dealer. In addition, the bike had already driven a few kilometers when it was delivered, which does not correspond to the promised new condition. Despite several suggestions on my part (free replacement of the damper, reimbursement of the removal costs or reasonable price reduction), the dealer only offered a flat discount of 50 € (for all defects), which is unacceptable with a damper value of several hundred euros. A return of the bike was suggested by the customer service, but is not an option for me because of the already used and the self-carried out replacement. Overall, I am disappointed by the trader's unwillingness to adequately address the apparent defect. The compensation offered does not reflect the actual damage, and the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. It is tried by all means to evade the legal warranty. At the moment, legal action is being examined.

I bought some tyres from LGC
I bought some tyres from LGC. They arrived within a few days which is excellent as they were dispatched in Italy. Will definitely use LGC again
i received a damaged bike grips and…
i received a damaged bike grips and Lordgun insisted that they left them in a perfect condition. its shouldn't be my concern if they left Lordgun damaged or during shipping. their refusal to take responsibility is the worst service i expected. if this is how they handle 30usd i can imagine their responsibility for more expensive ones - I won't buy there anymore

I have been buying from Lordgun for around 6 years. They have good items at fair prices. I have never had any negative experience with their service. Items have arrived on time and as described.
I hope to buy from them in the future. It's a shame that UK left Europe.
I've ordered with them in May 12

A scam
Item ordered in good faith, never arrived and they refused to accept any responsibility or issue a refund. Well and truly scammed. Not worth the risk for a few £ saving.
However this is their opportunity to redeem themselves with excellent customer service. I wonder what they’ll do???
