Do a Strand Test, ELVIVE GROWTH BOOSTER SHAMPOO and SERUM

ELVIVE GROWNTH BOOSTER SHAMPOO & SERUM.
I had the worst experience ever with this shampoo. I was suffering of mild hair loss after surgery, they call it “telogen effluvium” that is normal and subsides with time. No bald poaches neither obvious hair loss only I noticed it in my house and clothes. I bought this shampoo and serum to help with this and ended up being worse than the actual mild hair loss.
I washed it in the shower and left it in a bun above my head a few minutes to let it work while I was showering my body. When I went to rinse it, it was a hard knot I couldn’t get comb. I tried several conditioners without avail. I contacted L’Oréal and they did mention some people had experienced knotting. They advised me to soak the hair in warm water 30 minutes and use a detangler, which didn’t work. My hair was waist long and now I have a knot at the top of my head that I’m going to have to cut today as it’s impossible to dissolve this knotted bun. I filed a report with pictures in boots as I seriously think there should be a warning to do a stand test. I am not allergic to the hair growth component as Ive used their conditioner before with the same ingredient. I’ve read several people have suffered severe knotting if so. Please report it in the store, they will send a report and help to get these warnings on the label so this doesn’t happen to others. I’m completely devastated, losing my hair and having to cut it short has affected my self esteem and mental health.

I definitely do not recommend it

I definitely do not recommend it. After washing my hair with this shampoo and using the conditioner, my hair was completely weak and there was more hair on my hair brush than ever. I don’t recommend all Elvive products to anyone, it’s very dangerous!!!

Rip Off - Should be ashamed of themselves

Stupidly, spent £60 on the Glycolic range ( 4 products) as advertising shows lovely shiney hair that lasts up to 5 washes. COMPLETE FALSE ADVERTISING in my experience. Followed the instructions to the letter, no difference and does not give you shiney hair at all, after one wash let alone up to 5.
Contacted them, provided photos of each product bottle and bar code, my receipt, pictures of hair before and after…..and after jumping through all these hoops and many emails, they then blame ME and my hair!? They threw everything at me…my hair ‘may’ be porous ( nope - hairdresser confirmed absolutely not the case) , ‘may’ be dyed ( nope), ‘may’ be too course ( nope) etc., etc., and also I probably did not follow the instructions. I showed them pictures of my hair before and after so you can see it is non of those things, and I think I am pretty capable of following instructions on a bottle, with my Masters degree in biochemistry, and being a member of Mensa?

Not a hint of remorse for ripping people off- it’s all the customers’ fault. Should be ashamed of yourselves, L’OREAL.

Not just a new box

I've been using L'Oreal Casting for years, and am even more pleased with the new product. It has given even better coverage of the fine hair of the hairline around my face. The colour 423 Chestnut Brown is lovely, and the conditioner has left my hair shiny and soft.

Loreal elvive colour protect conditioner

For many years I have used loreal colour protect conditioner and always loved how wonderful my hair felt. I have shoulder length naturally curly hair that I have coloured to cover my grey. I have always been proud of my hair and received many good comments about it. I recently bought a new bottle of conditioner and noticed that the package was different but didn't think anything of it. As soon as I opened it I noticed a different smell and a different colour. When I applied it I noticed the difference, it didn't seem to wash off properly. As I was drying my hair it wouldn't curl properly and my hair looked awful it was heavy and dirty and greasy and I never have greasy hair and hardly any curl and itchy. I was so upset as I've been using loreal for many years and after spending £6 on a bottle of conditioner I have to throw it away and try to find an alternative.I noticed on the Internet that due to Eu changes they have altered it and many people don't like it. I emailed loreal who replied and said thanks for your interest send details of the product and I will look into it for you. I sent them photos and said would it be at all possible for a refund or at least some vouchers towards something else but they clearly didn't like that and failed to reply. Feeling disappointed and missing my beautiful mane.

Shambolic customer service

I used a colour Excellence product which ended up with a very dark effect yet the image was dark blonde. I sent a complaint to L'Oreal as my hairdresser informed me it would cost £120 -£150 to colour correct. L'Oreal is in breach of the Consumer Act 2015 as the product was not fit for purpose and failed in its duty of care to provide an adequate service. They offered £50 only as a goodwill gesture and suggested I use another product by them to correct the colour! How can I trust L'Oreal hair products again?! I have sent 18 messages through Resolver and even speaking to the company they have a 'no name' policy so no Customer Service Manager is accountable. I sent photographic evidence and offered to send remains of the product for scientific investigation to no avail. Shambolic customer service and L'Oreal should be ashamed of itself.

''L'Oréal Paris Colorista Permanent Gel…

''L'Oréal Paris Colorista Permanent Gel Hair Dye, Long-Lasting and Vibrant At-Home Hair Colour, High-Intensity Hues with Up to 3x More Shine, Colour: Silver Grey'' That is what it claimed to do!
In reality, it turned my hair 'Mrs Slocombe' purple!
I wanted silver grey and got PURPLE ...and that's all I have to say on the matter!

Did not lift my grey as stated

Used a box dye that did not lift my grey so I contacted their customer service who replied by giving me instructions on how to use the product! Complained again and they said they would send me a voucher to reimburse the cost, they never did!
