I didn’t realise that the dresses were being shipped from China, in fact I think the facade of the website seems to hide this slightly. I would definitely be more vigilant in the future and check.

When they finally arrived (weeks later), they were absolutely awful quality and didn’t look anything like how they were displayed on website. When I wanted to arrange a refund, the company was very reluctant and quite difficult, offering a few times to keep the items for a tiny refund. They then kept insisting I complete awkward forms when I had already provided a full receipt with all the tracking and courier details.

It cost me £30 to return them (have to hope I actually receive my money back), but seemed worth pursuing as I spent £150 on three dresses I would never have dreamt of buying, had I seen them in reality. Don’t waste your money or time here.

I paid £57 for this dress and what I received was nothing more than a piece of fabric. There is not even any proper stitching or finishing — it literally looks like cut fabric that was thrown together with no quality control whatsoever.

When I tried to return it, I was offered only a 30% refund while keeping an item that is completely unusable and belongs in the bin. The other option was to return it to China using a special shipping service that would cost around £35, which is absolutely unreasonable.

This feels like a scam. Customers are misled by the photos and descriptions, and then receive products that are nowhere near the advertised quality. I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the customer service. The company seems to be operating as a dropshipper, selling very low-quality items at highly inflated prices while making returns difficult and expensive.

I would strongly advise potential buyers to think twice before ordering from this company. Save your money and avoid the frustration.

I wore one of the dresses for a small family event and felt so good in it the whole time. The fit around the waist was really flattering without feeling tight.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! The products they advertise do not have the same quality as the products you will receive. The items are continuously discounted, which suggests that products are being advertised at inflated prices before being reduced to give customers a false sense of value. They also refuse to give you a full refund, saying they will need to take £20 - £30 off, due to 'shipping costs'.

UPDATE: I tried to raise a complaint which meant the process took longer and now they are saying because it has been 30 days they will not give me any refund at all.

Absolute scam! I didn’t realise it would be shipped from China which took weeks. They sent me a completely different low quality item. When I complained and asked for a refund they sent an automated message that I have to pay to send it back to China myself which should cost £20-30 or receive store credit. Have submitted a dispute to my bank to try to get my money back. Don’t waste your time and money

Worst company ever, using House of CB images as there own and sending nothing other than something that resembles a dishcloth

Felt confident the whole day

I liked how close the color was to the photos because that’s usually where online orders disappoint me. The dress felt elegant but still comfortable enough to wear for hours. There was one tiny loose thread, nothing major, and support handled it well.

Already left a negative review but cannot stress enough how much people need to avoid this company.
I ordered on the 19th May, it is now the 9th June and I still have no parcel.
Customer service are patronising and keep saying their website delivery estimates are just an estimate.
Well it’s been nearly 3 weeks which is FAR off their 3-7 day estimate so that needs updating.
They also do not tell you their returns address is in china so it costs in their words “£20-£30 to return depending on courier”.
I spent £114 on 2 dresses so I cannot just not return.
They are refusing to give me a prepayment label. This company needs to be investigated.

This is one of those pieces I didn’t overthink when ordering, but now I keep reaching for it. It’s soft on the skin, fits my curves in a really natural way, and feels perfect for summer plans.

I would advise anyone thinking of ordering from this company to not bother and spend your money elsewhere!
The photos they have up of the dresses is not what you will receive!
The dress I received was the exact same dress I got off cider but the quality was absolutely shit.
When I ordered the dress it took 2 weeks to be shipped out and then another week to be delivered.
They claim the parcel to be delivered by Royal Mail track and trace but I never received any information from Royal Mail and my parcel was delivered at 3am.
I fear it wasn’t Royal Mail that delivered my parcel 1 because of the time of delivery(Royal Mail in my area deliver around 10am) and 2 I have to pay £20-£30 international shipping if I want to return the dress meaning I lose out on money.
3 Royal Mail were supposed to take a photo for proof of delivery and I never received anything like that off Royal Mail.
If you want to return the dress they don’t give you a QR code to return the parcel at a post office, they simply email you the address and company name to somewhere in china(hence having to pay for international shipping)
I’m not going to bother with returning my parcel as it’s not worth spending more money considering I’ve already lost £55.
Luckily I didn’t spend £139 that the dress was originally supposed to be but I’m sure other people have been scammed just like me but have paid full price.

Fabric and fit is perfect

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered a dress in 2 sizes knowing I would only keep one. Unknown to me it’s from China and it would cost almost £30 to return . They do offer to let you keep it and get credit. The quality was not what I expected so why would I want to have more clothing?

Ordered 3 dresses- One of the dresses I ordered came and was nothing like the photo not one detail, it’s came fully see through with a black under dress that looked far to big the dress was supposed to be short sleeved with a corset type part in the middle part but nope nothing like it! The other 2 dresses I got were like the photos but not at the same time came both the same dress but different colours, both came with gloves which wasn’t even on the order or photo, the material was just thin and the top band just looked cheap

Impressed with how it hugs my curves, there was one loose stitch but i received a discount for it
