Delivery was slow (revised)
Delivery was slow (was a Royal Mail issue)
When contacted customer services to find out the roasting date they were unable to advise me (although I have since been advised of the roast date).
On a positive note the coffee tastes fab.

Please accept our apologies for the delay in delivery. I can see that your order was despatched with Royal Mail on 6th January, following our reopening on 5th January, and was delivered on 12th January. Your parcel should normally arrive within 48 hours of despatch, so I am very sorry for this delay. Unfortunately, we experienced a number of Royal Mail delays after the Christmas period due to high parcel volumes.
Regarding the roasting date, we are always able to provide this information, and I apologise if this was not made clear when you called. The roast date is nine months prior to the best before date shown on the coffee packaging.

There used to be a shop in Queens Street in Exeter. You could smell the aroma of freshly ground coffee down the street. Any chance of resurrecting the shop and thus denying custom to the large coffee chains?

Computer glitch in listing coffees by type, i.e. bean or grounded.
Usually great service and coffee but this time a minor computer glitch in listing coffees caused me, this time, to select the wrong coffee for one of my selections. No problem as sent back and got replacement bags of the right sort, but only one bag at a time, so that did take some time to sort out.
But still good service in sorting it out without any quibbles.

The service was good and I was very pleased to be reimbursed the postage as the post office took almost a week to deliver.
The coffee was good quality but not a strong enough flavour for me...my fault...chose the wrong blend. Next order will be for an expresso style coffee.
