Have 2 tickets at 19:30, we arrived 10 minutes in advance, however cruise did not depart until 20:10. We had to wait outside fully exposed to the cold . Other people had issues with subsequent schedules due to the delay of the cruises. Young lady, representative of Cruise company, was not able to answer when and how we can get a boat. very poor and impolitely communication and service

Great host/captain, she made us feel welcomed and had great sense of humour. Perfect duration, interesting facts and easy to understand (English) descriptions (for us as foreigners)

Terribly disappointing! Don't waste your money on this cruise. Find another company. What lights are they referring to in this, "light festival?" The lights that people put in their widows? I don't understand how we were suckered into taking this "lovers cruise." Hardly any special lights were displayed and if there was a light another boat covered it and we "cruised" passed. It's a day later and I still can't get over the fact that we took this boat but saw more lights walking. Once again, don't waste your money.

Overbooked. 40 mins late. Lights festival is a huge disappointment. Tickets are way too expensive for the overall experience.

Not a light festival

There were hardly any lights around the city for us to watch. It felt like a huge scam.

I had a great time on this tour! The staff is super welcoming, the boat was comfortable and on time. We were especially enchanted by the quality of the whole experience, especially the poetic audio guidance, totally synched with the tour. We will certainly do it again when we have friends and family over.

Rude staff at boarding, the company would do well to invest in some customer service training for those staff who have contact with passengers.

Full boat. Captain stopped boat to tell passenger they are loud. Be quiet or get off. Everyone in a very festive holiday mood having fun and trip was a disappointment because of captains words.

If you’re 2 minutes late don’t even try… The staff will tell you to come back the next day with the same tickets but it’s all a lie. Waste of time.

Over booked boat cruise with not enough seats for everyone. Several couple or families had to split to avoid doing the tour standing. Some people had to go outside at the back. Rude service and attitude when I raised the issue. “This is like the bus, if you are not happy, you don’t take it”. A 26€ bus ticket where the windows are full of fog which makes it almost impossible to enjoy the lights tour.

I made a booking mistake and emailed them. They were quickly to response and solved the problem without hesitation. I love that!

We had a bad experience. They oversold the boat and we were forced to sit on the back of the boat in the cold rain. They did not communicate well with us regarding where to sit and where to go. I would not recommend this service again.

The experience was as good as it could could be. Well organized and staff was welcoming. The Festival of Lights was somewhat underwhelming.

Light festival isn’t very good. Feel like our money could be spent on a better tourist attraction.

Price quality of light festival cruise. It’s not that much more to a normal rondvaart.

In the middle of the tour, two young Dutch adults(possibly teenagers) came and complained to the captain that an Indian couple were playing music at the back. This seemed to continue and at some point the captain said that the people making noise should leave if they won’t comply.

The Indian couple came to the captain and seemed very offended and asked to leave the boat out of respect for the captain even though they were not breaking any rules.

The captain was visibly angry very fast and stopped the boat to let them out without ever giving them a chance to explain themselves. They seemed like reasonable people and should have been heard as well. Instead the captain just took the words of others as fact got angry immediately.

It got worse. The captain started Making racist remarks like “ in this county we respect each other” and “yes, I am a world class racist”.

Many people applauded this but others were also extremely disturbed at the comments that this captain was making. Regardless of whether the Indian couple were right or wrong, they were not given a chance to explain and worse, the captain was making blatantly racist remarks which is unacceptable.

We had not expected such open racism from a company as respected as yours. I hope that this captain at least, will be reminded to be more careful with his words and behavior.

Tony is an awesome captain! Really enjoyed the Amsterdam LightFestival tour.
