In the train back i have seen more nice lights than on this trip.

bad scheduling
We booked a ticket for a 20.45 cruise and the ticket asked us to be there 5 minutes in advance. We were o time but we had to cue for one hour before we could get on a boat. All the rest of the evening plans went with it.

Outstanding evening

Overcrowded, long wait, rude staff
Reservation was at 1915. Our boat didn’t arrive until 1930. Terrible viewing from the boat. Overcrowded and I witness a staff being rude to an other customer.

Bad seats for festival lights seeing

Bad tour
Our tour left late, all of the windows on the boat fogged up including the ones on the roof. This made the Light experience hard to enjoy. The condensation on the roof and windows was so bad it was dripping on us unless we constantly wiped them. I personally wouldn't recommend unless you bring warm clothes and sit out in the open area at the back of the boat for the whole tour to experience everything without interruption.

Get ready to queue
I thought the experience was beautiful, and the lights and commentary was brilliant. However, the massive flaw to the experience was a ticket and queueing situation. We booked to get on the boat at 6:45. However, when we turned up there was a huge queue with everyone who had booked tickets for the evening. When approaching the desk to ask if it was right for us to be waiting they advised time was just time and not to rush.
We then proceeded to wait in the queue for an hour and 45 minutes before finally getting on the boat!
When you book for a time you expect to get on close to that time!!

Not worth the price
Lots of the lights were missing , the commentary was sporadic,late and about art that wasn't even on display or was too late and we had passed it. My back and neck hurt a lot because I had my back to the lights the entire trip and had to sit really uncomfortably. The 3 headphone Jack's didn't work either
I think the normal tour would be nice but I was super disappointed in the lights tour.

Very bad.
We were in the cold for more than 45 minutes waiting for the boat that was nowhere close to come, they asked us to wait another 30 at least. Eventually we left because we had 4 kids with us and we are asking for a refund.

We had a great trip on the Canals! Great narration as we went along and plenty time for wonderful photo moments! Driver was so nice and concerned that we not get cold. He had blankets and pillows to make us comfortable. Would recommend for sure!

Nice..but steamy
The boat is comfortable, the tour was ok, but after 20 mins the windows started to get foggy and the experience changes a lot. Visibility soon decreased and it made it boring.
Also, the audio guide is poor, as when set to Italian, it kept switching back and forwards between english and italian, leaving my parents un-engaged.
