RNS alerts dont work half the time, the chat boards are full of trolls, the site is so full of adverts u cant use it and if u complain they do nothing.

This is a creepy website
This is a creepy website. The weirdest thing has happened on use where someone seems to have personal information about me never revealed on the website before. Threatening and weird.
A very useful, informative and free site
A very useful and a free site.. I realise it's subsidised by adverts so I accept the need but there is a marked increase in pop ups lately which move everything on the screen as they appear.. So you are about to click on something and it moves and you click on the wrong thing!.. it'd be friendlier if there was a simple fixed block of the screen for ads so other areas stayed pretty much static once loaded.. but overall for me the positives of this site are better than the negatives, so overall it's good - thanks.
Why do you not watch for posters who…
Why do you not watch for posters who use the site with multiple posts a day to try and ramp/deramp the price? They move from share to share, spoiling decent boards.
Support request ignored
The prices being displayed for my Watchlist on the LSE app have not changed for several weeks.
The prices displayed are different to those shown on the LSE web site.
I have raised this issue with LSE via their support function and they have ignored me.

Appalingly badly moderated site full of annouying adverts.
Moderators allow, indeed encourage through ineptitude, bullying of negative posters, leaving a site that is just an echo chamber for gungho rampers.
Challenge anything and you are removed.
Some of the posters on the site are clearly employees of LSE itself, as seem capable of removing posters at 10pm at night! Can imagine a tinpot site has paid for watchers at that time, can you? Disagree with one of these LsE staff members, even when they are wrong, and off you go.
Shame the only alternative is Advfn.
Come on somebody - set up a decent comptetitor
Incorrect data
Do not rely on this site for correct information. I purchased 5000 shares in a company and LSE share trades had them listed as sold. The same thing happened the next day. Don't know where they get their information from but it's not correct. How many share trades are showing as sells when they are actually buys?

Corrupt website
This website is extremely corrupt and it is clear when dealing with abusive posters that you are dealing with an organised group, probably subbed out to an indian type call centre. The same insults are used from different posters, spread years apart. If you question anything apart from the pursued narative, multiple accounts will begin personally attacking you.
Posts are deleted to hide posters behaviour and organised manipulation.
I hope the owners of this website at some point are jailed for corruption.
Very useful website
Very useful website. It's being spoilt for many users by the number of adverts that are popping up, sometimes partially obscuring the messages that people are posting. I would like to know how to stop the adverts appearing.

There is no duty of care to deal with individuals who make libel comments, never mind personal attacks. They in some way protect detractors over those invested. My team have made numerous complaints with evidence and the particular individual still personally attacks those invested. This has resulted in some suffering with a mental illness.
We in society need to be dealing with these kind of issues criminally

This site is utterly useless and full of abusive rampers who the moderators do nothing about whatsoever, exactly as another poster below states. Utterly useless for investing information and merely used to promote the clickbait adverts all over the site.
"London South east is the classic problem with social media platforms we have today. LSE protect their biggest inputters on the site. They protect the bullies. Anybody who participates in this site who dare had a different opinion to the regular " site owners" is kicked out. Yet any abuse and bullying by the aforementioned regular user is tolerated . LSE you should be ashamed at enabling the bully."

This means I'm continually have to scroll up or down.
Makes the site very difficult to use.

Negligent failure to remove posters spreading hatred and discrimination.
Update of 1 June 2022 to my original post. LSE have replied which is good. However, it is often the case that reports of inappropriate postings are not acted on. A further problem is that if you submit a genuine post about a share and someone replies with an offensive remark, if you report this and this is actioned by LSE, they remove the whole thread including genuine posts that are just about the share. This is exploited by those who are making hateful and discriminatory remarks to effectively censor genuine posts that are not in accord with their agenda, which agenda may be to dishonestly promote a share based on false information.
Additionally, offensive posts may be removed, but LSE do not remove the users making the offensive remarks from having access to the site. So they simply come back and do it again.
The post containing the homophobic remark has now been removed. The post implicating a wish for another user to be dead has not been removed. The user who posted both messages remains active and posting on LSE.
Original post
I am very concerned by the failure of LSE to address inappropriate posts on its site.
in particular a post directed at me recently that referred to a real person's death and indicated that the same was wished for me and went on in another post to state he hated me.
This was a very dangerous post particularly due to widespread mental ill health that has increased during the pandemic
Users of the site who engage in such a level of abuse should in my view not be permitted to post there at all. But they are left to continue to spread bile.
The site is not being properly regulated or monitored. It contains deeply unpleasant abuse that is left unaddressed. It is potentially a very dangerous site for those with mental health difficulties.
The same poster who wishes other posters dead has just posted a homophobic remark on the LSE board 31 May 2022 at 19.20
This is typical of this very unpleasant person who is being given free rein on lse.co.uk to spread hatred and discrimination.
The post with the homophobic remark has been removed, the post wishing another poster dead has not been removed. The user who posted both remains active and posting on the site.

I am put off this site by too much advertising and bad advert placement
What really puts me off this site is the shear amount of adverts and their placing on the boards. This amount of adverts also makes it difficult to write on the forums as they slow down the webpages or just get in the way. This happens on two of my pc's, which are both new machines, so I know that it is not my equipment which is so often blamed by companies who do not wish to take responsibility for poor service. I do not get the impression that those who designed the website ever use it. If they did they would see just how annoying it is. I know companies make money from ads and that is fine, its just that they can ruin the user experience with their greed. And that does not make me want to click on any of those ads.

These forums are the worst of the…
These forums are the worst of the worsted, Open to manipulation by the rich and employ people to post negative comments in order to scare investors into selling their shares and LSE Mods allow it, I have reported posts and i have written to LSE and they are not interested and allow it to carry on. Yes its ok to have debates negative and positive with fellow holders, But it comes to a point that posters who are not invested and never will invest are allowed to post negative posts and you have to question why these non investors spend most of the day posting negative comments and LSE are allowing it to happen.
With spread betting and shorting , This opens the doors to manipulation in the chats creating fear.
LSE When are you going to do something about this issue , I have read past posts and replies from LSE on trustpilot and nothing is getting done and LSE are doing nothing to protect members, Honestly i believe that their will be people no longer with us due to reading a lot of the comments in your chat rooms , Its bad enough investing in a lot of these companies without having these paid posters in the chat rooms and you know it happens and you turn a blind eye.
If these posters have no financial gain , Why are they posting all hours of the day very often from 6am till past Midnight on certain chats , Maybe they are based outside of the UK ?
Please do something about it or i will take this matter to the FCA

Nice to see the site is down again. You need to invest in your servers and internet connections. You are one of the largest stes people get information from for stocks and you are constantly going down. Not good enough really is it

Hi Mike. Apologies for the inconvenience caused during the downtime. The issues experienced don't relate to the servers or internet connection. Our technical team are working as quickly as possible to have a permanent fix put in place as we speak.
Then someone else says and gets a reply servers are down...I told you this!!!!!
We have used LSE for a few years, but abuse and rude behaviour by some spoil it.
