It’s great for petite people
It’s great for petite people, they need stronger masseuses for others.
We had a slightly disappointing experience so for people visiting next I would recommend to keep track the massage timings.
Also felt the receptionist was quite rude because we were about 3min late for our appointment. I asked for a 2pm and she booked us in for 1pm for spa which by mistakenly I missed to see and arrived at 2:03pm. So we waited for the room to get prepped and our message ended at 5 left to 3, so it didn’t look like it was a 55min message.
I thoroughly enjoyed mine coz m petite and my masseuse was very kind and did a great job but my husbands one wasn’t strong enough so he barely felt anything. He kept asking for more pressure but his experience wasn’t a good one.
Our masseuse was happy for us to use the spa after massage and she event prepped the room and brought us our robes but the receptionist told us 2min later when we were in the robe that another lady is already in the sauna, this was clearly a lie but it was my husband’s bday so we didn’t want to stoop low to her levels and have an argument. I am sure generally it’s a nice experience but I suppose as soon as they see us brown people they start acting out.
I want to thank my masseuse for being kind and helpful though, for me she did a nice job.
My experience at Luenire every time I…
My experience at Luenire every time I have visited was always pleasant and relaxing. Sabrina and the team are very welcoming and knowledgeable.
I would definitely recommend to anyone
It's an excellent from me
I give luenire the well deserved ratings because of the pleasant reception I had and the high hygiene of the environs. When it came to the actual massage it is just great! Luenire is also well situated. The one thing that stood out for me is the attentiveness and patience of the lovely lady. Just the appropriate pressures applied during massages complete with the appropriate level of communications. Thank you Luenire 😊 💓

I come to Luenire every year for a pre birthday massage, and the hospitality, professionalism and actual massage is always 10/10, I would highly recommend.
Absolutely awful experience – avoid at all costs!
Booked a spa day for myself and my mum, hoping for a relaxing treat on our day off. What we got instead was stress, frustration, and shockingly poor customer service. They double-booked our slots and kept changing timings without informing us beforehand.
To make matters worse, the sauna wasn’t even working. Their solution? To give us the body scrub first. When I politely pointed out that this defeats the purpose (as your pores are meant to be open for the scrub after the sauna), the owner SABRINA became aggressive and argumentative – completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
The “30-minute” paid body scrub? We timed it – 9 minutes. When we raised this, Sabrina dismissed us with “that’s how long they are.” No apology, no explanation, just attitude.
We had paid in full in advance, and what should’ve been a peaceful, enjoyable day turned into a complete disaster. It’s shocking how little regard they have for their customers. No accountability no professionalism no refund offered. Definitely not recommended – there are far better places in Birmingham that understand basic customer service and won’t leave you with anxiety.
Also worth noting: this spa is apparently not connected to the hotel, even though it’s inside – they’re independent. Sadly, this damages the hotel’s reputation by association.
Save your time, money, and sanity – avoid this place. Sabrina needs a new career where she does not need to engage with customers as clearly many other poor reviews also say the same about her and I just wish I had read them before booking!
Speaking from my experience today
Speaking from my experience today, If you need a crash course on all to avoid in a spa experience, pls come here.
Terrible service, ambiguous directions, terrible, terrible, terrible.
Groupon scammers
I paid for a spa pamper package for 2 at luenire but when it came to the day of the pamper package, they didn't tell me the spa was closed due to maintenance until i got there. So I didn't get what I paid for, which was a full spa day with full body massage and body scrub, i only received only a massage. The body scrub and sauna did not happen even though that is what was in the advert that I was paying for.
And for weeks I tried to contact them as they said I would have to come back on another day for the other treatments but no one ever called me back, and whenever I phoned I was told that the spa was still broke and someone will call back but now it's been nearly 2 months now.
Also when I called them they justified not giving me what I paid for, by alluding to the fact that I paid for it by Groupon discount as if it's OK to rip me off and not give me what I paid for because I got it at a discounted price regardless of the fact that, that was what was in the advert that I paid for, if they're going to get angry at you for buying on Groupon for a discounted price then i dont know why luenire just doesn't use Groupon at all then.
To top it all off it was a mediocre massage as if the woman doing it was a trainee, not satisfying or fulfilling at all, just felt like someone rubbing lotion onto your body, no massage techniques at all. And it's supposed to be a full body massage but they skip massaging your stomach and sides so it's not a full body massage, it's a half a body massage
I absolutely love this place
I absolutely love this place! I’ve visited around five times, and every experience has been consistently excellent. The therapists are all incredibly skilled, and I always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I highly recommend becoming a member and making regular visits – it’s totally worth it!

Booked via groupon
Booked via groupon; The hotel and grounds are lovely. Walking into the spa we are welcomed warmly and offered a soft drink which is a nice touch. The Voucher we had stated 'spa facilities for one hour before massage' which can be misleading as essentially this was a small sauna room for two in the changing room and you wouldn't spend more than 15 mins in there. No other facilities. Also careful, only after I poured water on the coal I was told it is electric. Shower and floors were not clean at all. We did not even want to use the shower. The carpet was not clean, black marks all over. The lockers did not work, we tried to put a code in but it would only recognise pin 1234. The receptionist just walked in at one point as I was getting changed, did not consider to knock. We were also told that these 'private' changing room for only me and my partner. The space was tiny. After the massage we walked in to find two other ladies also getting changed. Considering we were a male and female duo, this was rather concerning and felt really uncomfortable. We had to take our stuff to the shower area and get changed there. The massage itself was very very good.
So you can plan your day!
Great massage, clean and welcoming staff and offered tea and Prosecco.
The only thing to be mindful of when booking is there is no steam room or jacuzzi. I think if they had this it would have been 5 stars 🌟
Family spa day
Enjoyed spa day with family having two treatments each. Therapists were very good. We were given Prosecco and relaxed in the spa area after our treatments. All good experience

I am becoming something of a regular!
I attend Birmingham for business meetings and have started to try and make sure I keep an hour free to visit for a treatment.
Sabrina and her colleagues are awesome, welcoming and friendly.
I have seen two different members of the team for the Swedish massage, and they have both been brilliant.
From my schedule point of view, I really like that I can come in for a treatment, and then leave to get on with my day without any fuss or hanging around - I will keep coming back for sure!

My recent visit to the spa was…
My recent visit to the spa was unfortunately marred by a series of unprofessional incidents, primarily revolving around the manager, Sabrina. Despite booking and paying well in advance, my appointment was disrupted due to double booking. Initially, the staff, particularly Sydney, were apologetic and understanding, doing their best to rectify the situation. However, Sabrina’s handling of the situation left much to be desired.
After being informed that I would not receive the treatments I had paid for, I requested a refund, a reasonable request given the circumstances. Sydney was supportive and helpful, displaying professionalism in stark contrast to Sabrina’s behavior. However, Sabrina began texting me from her personal number, refusing to provide a refund and offering no explanation for her stance.
The lack of professionalism continued as Sabrina remained evasive and unresponsive to my attempts to communicate. For two weeks, my messages and calls went unanswered, exacerbating the frustration of the already disappointing experience.
Finally, after persistent effort on my part, I received my refund. However, the delay and lack of accountability displayed by Sabrina throughout the process were completely unacceptable.
In conclusion, while the spa itself may offer decent services, the unprofessional behavior and poor management demonstrated by Sabrina greatly overshadowed any potential positives. I would caution others against patronizing this establishment until significant improvements are made in terms of customer service and management professionalism.

This spa is a hidden gem
This spa is a hidden gem. I loved it! Me and my bestie went for a massage, used the pool and the spa facilities. We were greeted at reception and taken to the spa. All of the staff are warm and friendly. The massage was amazing, the only thing is that it wasn't long enough but that just means that I have to come again!
It has clean with modern facilities. Thank you for a lovely day.😊
