My card was declined in lulu hypermarket i ask the cashier if she could deduct the amount in my card its 109.84 usd,our total in our groceries is 260 usd something so my friend could share me the payment.,but to make the transaction past my friend pays the full amount.Afterward we went to kfc to have lunch but when i try to swipe again my card its ni more balance left.,so meaning to say i went to customer service in lulu hypermarket in abu dhabi.i spoke to the supervisor on duty named rosemarie.she said that the 109.84 dollars will be refunded by my bank.but until now my bank said that lulu hypermarket us the one who's responsible for the refund..thankyou can you make the refund

I use the phone app. I have been doing this for the few months.
I have had a minimum of 10 complaints due to negligence, untrained staff, ignorant employees and other.
One time they delivered only half of my order, 2 emails and a phone call later I got the rest of my order. The driver said it was his mistake. I was affected by the mistake no matter who's it was.
Another time, I order Alpro Gluten free oat milk, I got Alpro oat milk.
I ordered Hass avocado, I got Kenyan Avocado .
I ordered Indian garlic, got Chinese garlic (twice)
I can't remember the rest at the moment.
Everytime this happens, I have to call, send an email, they ask for a photo, and it takes the team a lot of time and stress on my side to finalize the matter.
Lulu hires customer service staff who don't know the difference between Kenyan and Hass Avocado. I have to teach them.
That's so annoying, time wasting, and irritating.
When I make an order, they charge my visa, and if any of the items are not available, it takes them a week to refund. Can't their app be up-to-date with what's available and What's not.
Can't Lulu devise a system to reserve the credit card payment and not charge until the order is dispatched.
This putting so much stress on me having to check what was refunded and what not.
Please fix your online ordering problems. Train your people. Devise customer friendly payment system. Update your app every minute.
Please DO SOMETHING. It's very annoying.

I have order one item which was showing in their portal, they have delivered different product and then saying ordered item was out of stock. I placed an order for a 65-inch TV on January 30th, and after eagerly waiting for my purchase, After 4 days, I received an email stating that my order had been canceled due to the item being out of stock. What baffles me is that the cancellation occurred without any prior notification or attempt to contact me.
It's disheartening to have a company accept an order, only to later claim that the item is out of stock. This raises questions about their inventory management and communication processes. As a loyal customer, I expected a more transparent and customer-friendly approach.
I reached out to their customer care team, seeking clarification on the situation, but unfortunately, the response left much to be desired. The lack of information and the abrupt cancellation have left me with a sense of frustration and disappointment.

I purchased a Black and Decker rice cooker from Lulu in early December and under 30 days it ceased working. I took it to their Happiness Center expecting a refund or replacement. However they said I need to wait 10-15 days for it to be sent for repair. I explained that this was unsatisfactory as I needed a rice cooker every day. They said too bad that is all they could do. Totally unacceptable warranty service. Should be called the Unhappiness Center.

When we went to their Al Ain Kuwait branch to return some things we had bought that day, they simply disregarded us and wouldn't take our returns. The customer service manager arrived after the customer care person initially failed to greet, smile, and extend a warm greeting. Unbelievable behavior—he is extremely nasty, lacks a strong command of English, and doesn't listen to customers. He also blocked me and answered his phone when I was speaking with him. Bad goods
Previously lulu chose reasonable quality of goods to deliver. This time most of the items were lower quality. Like fruits, chestnuts etc. It's advisable to buy groceries that cannot be different in quality, like, sugar, rice tea, etc. But even baby coconut as if were growing old so they passed them to me. Last time I accepted the replacement os foster Clark vanilla extract and regretted when I received .it seemed smaller than what I had ordered.

Your staff are complacent, rude, unwilling and nonsensical.
Last thing they say to me when paying is "happiness member?" I always respond no. There's nothing to be happy about when you go in there.
The general manager is dismissive and lacks any sense of product or customer care knowledge. The team members seem more interested at talking to their friends than assisting the customer, and their knowledge of products is almost non-existent.
When they don't know something they just walk away sheepishly pretending you're not there.
At most, there's only ever 2 people iat the checkout counters, and seldom a bag packer.
Staff is a representation of the upper echelons of a company- I'm guessing higher management are as incompetent and complacent, because the GM of the store needs to be replaced or at least demoted, and the staff need proper training by the customer care/operations director
But guess what......You won't!!!
Final say: it asks me the date of experience - I've put the latest, but it's happened multiple times!!! Best thing you could do is change it into a proper supermarket with knowledgeable staff.

I bought a TV from LuluHypermarket Capsquare. According to the return policy, TV is one of the products which can be returned if a buyer changes his mind within 7 days after the purchase is completed. I asked for return in person, the customer service representative asked me to discuss with the sellers, but the seller told me nobody would buy a returned item, and he doesn’t care about what the policy says.

They claimed on their website they would deliver the items within two hours. I waited for 4 hours, but nothing was delivered. After more than 4 hours, I had to send them an email to ask them to deliver it next day because I needed to go bed. When I contacted customer service, Manu apologized but didn't offer any financial compensation for the delay. Talabat and Jahez delivery apps would offer financial compensation in such situations. Lulu delivery is highly unreliable.

Lulu has literally the worst customer service ever. I was i the shop while my daughter went to bill something releasing I’m not there with her. She says to the cashier to just cancel it but the cashier doesn’t listen & bullies her saying she doesn’t have any money. I’m very disappointed in the service by Lulu.
