Helmet does not work

Helmet does not work. Will not power on properly. Lights just blink. Will not pair, firmware will not upload. Customer service is non existing. No phone number available. Support email says they are closed for the winter holidays and it's Jan 27.

Good light, Bad App

Good that it works straight from the box. BUT
1 Guarantee registration is clumsy, Serial no hard to read, eg

2. Visor fouls my spectacles

3 ventilation blocked if visor is raised
4 straps only JUST long enough

What good are features that DO NOT work?

The turn signal won’t hook up with the Apple Watch App. I bought 2 helmets costing over $400 and one Apple Watch App first had a problem with no “compass”…and once I fixed that it just keeps throwing a ERROR CODE….”make sure your app is on blah-blah-blah” . Everything IS on and connected but I can’t get what I paid for. The other Apple Watch simply counts down 3-2-1-0 and then the option to “stop” with a thin red line above it…WTF???? $400? Help me get these working and an excellent review on Amazon and Facebook are yours, otherwise I cannot honestly recommend your product to anyone else. Also, why did I have to learn how to create a PDF so that I could Register my Warranty…so very inconvenient.
UPDATE: I read your response, below, and it is now 5 days later and I have not heard from your company and I still have the same problems I had 5 days ago. If it is so easy to repair then please contact me by e-mail (find that in my warranty registration).

I feel so much safer wearing this…

I feel so much safer wearing this helmet with the flashing lights where drivers can see them. This helmet does much more than protect in a crash: it actively prevents accidents by making me seen. At intersections, I often get the go ahead nod from drivers now that I am so much more noticeable with the lit up helmet.

More recently, I had an issue with the on/off switch and contacted customer service. Kavin was amazing with his troubleshooting and managed to get a replacement helmet for me. Thank you Lumos and especially Kavin for amazing work and such a wonderful helmet.

Good helmet but with a flawed visor!

The helmet is well designed overall but the visor seems to be made out of cheap plastic and has optical flaws. It is effective in deflecting the wind, but there’s lots of glare at night from car headlights and streetlights. The optical distortion is even worse in the dark. I hope Lumos develops a better visor for this otherwise excellent helmet.

I upgraded because of the front visor and front turn indicators. The face shield is great. No need for prescription sport glasses

Unable due to file size to finish…

Unable due to file size to finish warranty registration of the Amazon Receipt. 2mb is insufficient for size allowance. KISS. "KEEP IN SIMPLE STUPID". Engineers i hate them.

The little Protection Parts inside the…

The little Protection Parts inside the Helmet wasnt fixed and must fix them all with Power Glue.

The Update didnt work and failed all the Time... and the Support is a Joke.
If you sell Items in Germany...why you didn't support in german?
Yes, the Helmet App is online, the Helmet Power is on, BT connected... but it's impossible the update the Firmware...poor Job Guys

Great helmet with a quality mistake

The helmet is really fantastic. Only the silly rubber solution does not meet the high quality standards of the helmet. Why not a screwable holder for the handlebar remote control?

Lumos Has Totally Come Through!!!

I wrote a not so nice review of Lumos from an Ebike Ultra Helmet I bought from Amazon during Prime Days. It said it was the last one and I should have known better! Everytime I have bought a last one it turned out to be a broken return, something wrong, missing pieces, etc, etc. It was my one chance to get it on sale so I said let me get it. Sure enough, there was a bunch wrong and I could not believe that a $229 bicycle helmet could have left the factory with this much wrong so it had to have been used and misused and once again Amazon sent it out as new. I called Amazon to exchange it and they said it could only be returned no exchange. I sent Lumos an email but got no response. In due fairness it was over the weekend but I was so mad! I brought it back to Whole Foods for a return and wrote some not so nice reviews. Monday I got a response from Kevin at Lumos. I told him what happened and wanted nothing to do with Lumos. He offered to take care of the situation by offering the same price plus an additional discount and extended warranty. I told him to let me think about it. So, I put my trust in him and I just received it and it is perfect! He even included a Firefly, but now I need to spend more money to buy some more. LOL! Lumos does really care about their customers and products they produce. Their technology is cutting edge. I was an LD and worked for the company that invented the automated moving lights you see at concerts, tv, etc, and this reminds me of that cutting edge lighting technology. I can honestly now say buy Lumos, but buy directly from them.

Great and Safe Product

The helmet was on sale on
Amazon. I am a previous owner of the Lumos Matrix. I needed to upgrade because my helmet was four years old. I just got back from a 16 mile ride on my e-bike. I fits good and the turn signal feature is really convenient.
