Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 499 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many consumers noted that the goods received did not match the advertised pictures, often consisting of cheap or poorly made materials. Reviewers frequently mentioned issues with the quality of the items, describing fabrics as synthetic or the products themselves as shabby. However, some people mentioned that the refund was processed quickly once the return was sent. Conversely, a small portion of people felt that the returns process was a major hurdle, requiring customers to ship items to Canada at their own expense. Some reviewers also pointed out significant problems with sizing, noting items were often too small despite size designations.

Avoid buying from Lune London…

Avoid buying from Lune London (lunelondon.co.uk). My experience with them has been an absolute nightmare of misdescribed products, illegal garment labeling, and a sham dispute process designed to cheat customers out of their consumer rights.
I ordered their Vintage Fish Japanese Art Shirt which was advertised on their website as a premium linen blend with a structured stand collar and a seamless hidden button placket.
What actually arrived was a cheap, paper-thin, semi-transparent synthetic shirt. Not only does the design look nothing like the website, with a flat, shapeless band collar and a cheap top-stitch placket, but the garment has absolutely no material, care, or fabric composition label attached to it. Under UK textile regulations, selling clothing without a fiber composition label is illegal.
When I complained, their customer service (handled by Emilia) revealed a completely biased and ridiculous internal review process. They claimed their system restricts disputes to a single photograph and completely blocks customers from submitting any descriptive text or additional photos to their review team. This is a deliberate tactic to suppress evidence of their poor quality.
Even worse, they tried to force me to pay the return shipping costs for their faulty, misdescribed item, which directly violates the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. When I pushed back, they offered me an insulting 10 percent refund and a voucher to keep a shirt that is practically unwearable.
I have officially escalated this company to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards, and I have issued them a formal legal notice giving them 9 working days to process a full refund and provide a prepaid return label.
Do not trust the nice pictures on their website. The product you receive will be substandard, and if you try to get your money back, they will use hidden, unfair internal rules to try and deny you your legal rights. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

Avoid—violates UK consumer rights, orders shipped from China, refunds withheld

I ordered a men’s outdoor pullover from Lune London on 16th June 2026 as a birthday gift for my partner. Only after ordering did I discover the item was being shipped from China.

The tracking showed the package arrived at a logistics depot in Leicester on 25th June, but after a final update on 29th June, the shipment completely stalled and was never delivered. Since the birthday had passed, and more than 30 days had elapsed without delivery, I formally exercised my statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel the contract and request a full refund.

Lune London’s customer support (Emilia) repeatedly refused to issue a refund, hiding behind their "internal process" and stating they would only refund me once their carrier officially declared the package untraceable. A retailer's internal policy does not override UK consumer law, which states the retailer is responsible for the goods until they physically reach the customer.

Only after I sent a final formal deadlock notice threatening a bank chargeback did customer service finally admit the parcel was lost. Even then, instead of immediately returning my money, they refused a direct refund and tried to force me into accepting a reshipment or a store voucher.

I have now had to initiate a chargeback claim with my bank to recover my money. Do not buy from this company unless you want to deal with weeks of stressful emails, overseas shipping delays and a blatant disregard for basic consumer rights.

Minus 10 STARS

Minus 10 STARS: This has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I have ever had.

In my opinion, I struggle to understand how this company continues to operate given the number of complaints from customers. The website gives the impression that it is a UK-based retailer, but there is very little transparency about where the business operates or how returns are handled. I only discovered later that the return process involves sending items to a warehouse in Canada, which makes returns expensive and impractical.

I normally wear an XL. According to their size chart, a 3XL should have fit me, but when it arrived it was still far too tight. I contacted customer service the following day, provided photos, and explained the sizing issue. Rather than offering a straightforward solution, I was given a complicated returns process and several alternative offers that kept changing. Every time I agreed to one of their proposed solutions, they came back with different terms, making it feel as though they were trying to avoid taking responsibility.

The return costs are so high that, for many customers, returning the item simply isn't worth it. It feels as though once they have received your money, resolving any issue becomes extremely difficult.

The product quality was also very disappointing. In my experience, the clothing was of very poor quality despite being priced similarly to well-known brands. It did not represent good value for money.

My advice to anyone in the UK is to be very cautious before ordering from this company. Please read the returns policy carefully and be aware of where items need to be returned before making a purchase. I regret buying from them and hope my experience helps others avoid the same disappointment.

Upset

Really upset, ordered a corset back dress over a month ago for my wedding, it came, was beautiful, but massive, I emailed and they said they would send me a voucher, cost of the dress and I could re order smaller size and just pay postage. So reordered, waited over 2 weeks, the dress arrived WRONG! And also very small. The dress that arrives was a zip back, not corset. When I emailed them to say the dress was a. wrong and b. very small, they offered me 2 options, I could return for full refund or send photos of issue, it could be reviewed and I ‘may’ be refunded. I was quoted £47 by Evri to ship the dress back, I emailed and said I was not prepared to pay £47 when the error is there’s, they sent me the wrong dress. I have been backwards and forwards being offered 10% refund, then 30%, then 50%! I have asked for full refund as the mistake is on them, it is now being looked into by another person and they will get back to me! I am out of pocket and don’t have a wedding dress and they are not bothered one bit. Wish I’d seen the reviews before ordering because I would have stayed well clear! How this company is still running is beyond me…

I can give 0 star for this company.

I can give 0 star for this company.
I bought £40 top and spend about £5 for delivery although on the website they advertised free delivery. It took three weeks to deliver. The quality of cloth is no way near to £40 including material, design and quality. Asking returning and refund but I have to send it to Canada which will cost me about £35 including custom fee. Disgusting!

I normally don’t leave reviews but I…

I normally don’t leave reviews but I felt this company deserved one after all the other terrible reviews. The clothing is amazing. It’s better than I expected. I feel every Karen here are just used up shein so when they actually a measly 15 quid more on an outfit they expect it to be real silk mixed with Egyptian cotton. I couldn’t be happier with my order and honestly - people are not happy unless they are moaning nowadays. Don’t let these negative Nancy’s put you off.

Disreputable outfit with no refund...

When I ordered online I got an email asking me to write a 5* review here on Trustpilot and then I would get the item free. I did that and sent a screenshot to them but they said I was too late, so I ended up paying the full price. Not a problem until the item turned up. It was really poor quality, clearly made in a terrible sweat shop somewhere and the zip did not work at all. In fact it was unwearable. When I asked for a refund I got no response from several emails, so the item went in the bin. Hopefully this review will put people off from buying from this disreputable outfit.

This is one of the most despicable…

This is one of the most despicable companies I have ever had the misfortune to purchase clothing from. My items arrived quickly but the workmanship was extremely poor and the materials did not meet the description. I sought to return the items but the cost of shipping to a warehouse in Canada was prohibitive. Following my first complaint, they offered a partial refund and voucher. I initially accepted but subsequently changed my mind and referred the matter to my credit card provider. Next, they offered a full refund and suggested the goods were returned to a different address in Germany. I did this and sent the tracking number as requested, but since then, I have been told a specialist team will be in contact - two weeks later and I am still waiting to hear from this team.

I will now be referring this matter back to my credit card company. I strongly urge anyone reading this post NOT to order from these charlatans.

Do not purchase from this company

I have also fallen for this company. I paid £57.49 for a cardigan that is worth no more than £5. I can’t tell if it is inside out or not. I have been asked to return it to Canada, Germany, Asia and the Netherlands and offered a refund of 10% - 75%. I have reported to Trading Standards and my credit card company. Do Not Buy from this Comaony!

Poor poor poor company

It's a shame that I am unable to give this company zero stars. It is appalling. The dress itself was poor, poor quality. Cheap, nasty material and looked nothing like the images on the website.
The dress took a long time to arrive, despite it being a UK website, and it turns out it was shipped from Canada. It arrived too late for me to use for an event, and so I asked to return it. The shipping address given was Canada and I had to pay £27 to return it (at my cost). While it was always clear the customer is responsible for return costs, there is no indication that the return location is Canada (or anywhere else overseas), and absolutely no clarity on the website to say that goods are shipped from anywhere other than the UK (given it is a .co.uk domain).
Please, please, do not buy from this company. They are fraudsters!

AVOID LUNE LONDON

The fact you need to put one star is a problem, they deserve zero.
Do not order anything from these con artists.
I ordered 3 items, two check shirts.
The red shirt was pink, stitching was poor and was shaped like a box, the collor was different each side, not a fitted shirt.
Then the blue shirt like the other except the zip teath were out of line, some damaged, the zip would not move up past the naval area.
I innitiated a refund, they gave me options to pick. I went with option 1 to return them. Details given were post to Canada. Provide tracking number, photo of reciept to the same email and we will innitiated refund. Did exactly that and I got a bombardment email, like a stock response. They did not recognise Royal Mail, they need to use tracking number from last mile in Canada. WHAT?
I said you never said that, just to provide postage info and nothing about last mile reference in Canada, that would be impossible for me to provide..AVOID, AVOID AND AVOID again.

No advertising the fact clearly this is an over seas company …

No advertising the fact clearly this is an overseas company.
I ordered a sweater and when it arrived, it looked like it had been over washed, and ironed till shiny and poor fit. Terrible fabric and out of shape.
When wanting to return, it was only then I discovered i had to return it to Canada at £25 for tracking, which is the only way for a refund.
I have been told I can keep the jumper and have a voucher, but cannot use it on sale items, which appears all I ever see is half price offers. I just have to cut my losses and NEVER use this company to buy anything again ☹️

Would not buy from there again. Took weeks to arrive from Shanghai, definitely not from London. Stear well clear.

Do not buy anything from this company

I ordered a sating halterneck top at a cost of £41.99. It arrived weeks later in the wrong colour and was made from a very cheap material. Certainly not worth more than £5.
Weeks of back and forth on a return and refund. Poor customer service. They want me to pay $80 to return the top to China. Steer well clear of this company. They are scammers.
