Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 499 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many consumers noted that the goods received did not match the advertised pictures, often consisting of cheap or poorly made materials. Reviewers frequently mentioned issues with the quality of the items, describing fabrics as synthetic or the products themselves as shabby. However, some people mentioned that the refund was processed quickly once the return was sent. Conversely, a small portion of people felt that the returns process was a major hurdle, requiring customers to ship items to Canada at their own expense. Some reviewers also pointed out significant problems with sizing, noting items were often too small despite size designations.

I should have read the reviews before…

I should have read the reviews before buying from them. Products are really bad quality for the price and sizes are completely random. They takes several weeks to arrive and they don't look anything like they are in the website and the materials are absolute rubbish. Their returns policy is completely unworkable because of the high cost involved.
It's a con, don't buy from them!!!!

Shame you can't give a 0

Shame you can't give a 0. This company is a complete sham. It's based in the Netherlands so don't be tricked by their title ' Lune London' Their products are cheap and nasty. Don't be fooled by the lovely images they use. Its a massive con. I was sent a pair of cheap sandals that had no resemblance to what I thought I had ordered. They send standard copy and paste replies and don't actually answer what you are asking directly. AVOID at all costs!!!!!!

Deceptive and misleading company

I ordered a pair of linen leisure trousers. They took weeks to arrive, although their website presents itself as a London company., they came from China. The trousers were NOT linen, they were a size smaller than the label and had an unpleasant chemical smell.
In order to get a refund I have to return them to Canada at significant expense.
And provide complex photographic evidence
A bad experience.

Shoes run small but excellent returns process

I don't recognise these negative reviews on the returns process. Yes, the shoes were way too small, but my experience with the returns procedure was smooth, clear and excellent responsiveness. I have sent the shoes back for a refund (with return shipping cost borne by me) and have ordered the next size up. The quality looked fine - it was just that the sizing ran very small. I haven't received the refund yet, but I only just sent the shoes back yesterday, or the day before. One thing to note is that Lune London does not refer to London, England. The warehouse is in Canada, so maybe it's London, Ontario. It meant the shipping cost to return the shoes was quite high, but that was my bias in assuming I was dealing with a local vendor. If ordering shoes, I would go up a size beyond your normal size.

Terrible Experience

Very Disappointing Experience
I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
The bikinis I ordered arrived significantly later than the delivery timeframe advertised on the website, meaning they were no longer suitable for the purpose for which they were purchased. When I contacted customer service to request a refund, I was disappointed to discover that despite the website advertising free returns, I was told that I would need to return the items to Germany or Asia at my own expense.
The products remain in the original packaging and unused, yet the company continues to insist that I pay for international return shipping before a refund can be considered. This feels misleading given the impression created by the "free returns" policy.
Customer service responses have been polite (AI generated), but the resolution offered does not reflect the circumstances of the order or the expectations set at the time of purchase. Weeks of correspondence have resulted in no fair solution.
Overall, this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. Customers should carefully review the return process and associated costs before ordering. I recommend avoiding this company.

DO NOT BUY FROM LUNE!!!!!

I would have left a No Stars review if possible. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! My order was about 2 weeks in arriving and when it did arrive it was very cheap quality.... definitely not even worth the 'half price' amount I had paid. When I asked how to return it I was told that they only accept returns when the package is unopened!!!! They should not be allowed to trade as they are not a serious company. They are sending out the cheapest rubbish and refusing returns on ridiculous grounds.

Dreadful quality product that smelt…

Dreadful quality product that smelt horrendously of chemicals arrived after two weeks, from a company that claims to be based in London. Very overpriced for the rubbish they sent. Currently trying to arrange a return, but not optimistic.

DECEPTIVE SCAM - False advertising, out-of-stock stalling, and fake London address

"PLEASE NOTE: 'Lunelondon.co.uk', 'Lune-london.co.uk', and 'Chicundstil' are all the exact same outfit trading under different names to hide their bad reviews. They share the same system and customer service bots."

Do not buy from this company. Like many others, I was misled by the name "Lune London" into thinking I was buying from a UK-based business. In reality, they ship substandard items from China and expect customers to pay £20–£30 to return them to Canada.I ordered shoes that never arrived. When I requested a cancellation, customer service used textbook stalling tactics. First, they claimed the parcel was in transit, but when I provided tracking screenshots showing the package was damaged/returned, they immediately changed their story and admitted the item was completely out of stock. Instead of issuing a mandatory refund, they tried to force me to accept an unwanted alternative or a store gift voucher to trap my money.Fortunately, I refused to bargain with them and took my email trail straight to my bank (Barclaycard Business), who immediately initiated a formal chargeback and refunded my money. If you have been caught out by Lune London, do not waste time emailing their support—contact your bank or credit card provider immediately to open a dispute for "Goods Not Received."

Coat is very poor quality and fit

Coat is very poor quality and fit. Very short refund window and refuses to offer a credit note if out with refund window. Coat was a gift and the arms are far too short - company refusing to exchange or refund. Do not buy from here.

AVOID!!!!!

I wish I had read these comments before placing my order. Like everyone here, I honestly believed Lune London was based in London and that I could return items I'm not happy with, just like in London shops, as long as they were unworn and had tags and hygiene stickers intact. I bought some swimwear, but it didn't suit me, and for the price I paid, it wasn't worth it. The quality was poor, and the details were misleading. When I asked for a refund, I was shocked to learn it was non-refundable simply because I opened the package. This company assumes customers have psychic abilities, expecting us to know we'll be 100% happy with our order—because once you open the package, it's automatically non-refundable. Whether you try it on or not, opening the package seals your fate.

I genuinely didn't see any swimwear return policy on their website unless you ask for a refund and get surprised. Beware! Don’t make the same mistake. Money wasted.

I really regret not checking this…

I really regret not checking this company review online before ordering it. I genuinely thought this is UK company and if I didn't like it I could return it. They list in GBP with London store photos but product I received is from China took a month to arrive. I tried to cancel but they wouldn't accept and no UK return address is given. Product quality is terrible, I never seen this rubbish and I cannot believe I paid 50GBP for this rubbish. Now will have to return it with over 25GBP only for return costs. PLEASE AVOID this company ever online. DO NOT go near them, this is totally scam site ripping off genuine buyers online.

Don’t Bother it’s hard work!

I would rather put negative stars than even providing one.
I ordered a jacket, asked them to cancel the order after they advised me my order can take up to 5 days to process then another 5-10 business days to be delivered after that. Then refused to cancel the order because my order was already ‘processing’ within 1 hour and half.

I’m now trying to return the item again, after I had requested to cancel it 2 days before it had even left to be delivered. They won’t refund my the delivery charge and also want me to pay to return it.

I have never heard something so outrageous.

I agree with everyone else

I’m afraid I agree with everyone else. Ordered a “linen” bathrobe for £60 but received (ten days later) a nasty cheap fake. Buyer beware…

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Their website says free shipping on all orders within the UK but they actually charge £4.99 and will not refund it. It’s a con. I wish I had looked on Trustpilot before purchasing as I would not have bought from them. Have contacted my bank to report this scam company and arrange a refund.

LUNE LONDON Returns

I Would like to say that this company on the returns policy is the worst on the planet. I purchased jacket which took 2.5 weeks to be delivered and was wrong, so I sent it back at a cost of £29 to a warehouse in Canada (no other option). After numerous emails to the support address it has taken from posting to getting a refund it took 3 weeks. So, my advice would be to never ever use this company.

Avoid buying from Lune London…

Avoid buying from Lune London (lunelondon.co.uk). My experience with them has been an absolute nightmare of misdescribed products, illegal garment labeling, and a sham dispute process designed to cheat customers out of their consumer rights.
I ordered their Vintage Fish Japanese Art Shirt which was advertised on their website as a premium linen blend with a structured stand collar and a seamless hidden button placket.
What actually arrived was a cheap, paper-thin, semi-transparent synthetic shirt. Not only does the design look nothing like the website, with a flat, shapeless band collar and a cheap top-stitch placket, but the garment has absolutely no material, care, or fabric composition label attached to it. Under UK textile regulations, selling clothing without a fiber composition label is illegal.
When I complained, their customer service (handled by Emilia) revealed a completely biased and ridiculous internal review process. They claimed their system restricts disputes to a single photograph and completely blocks customers from submitting any descriptive text or additional photos to their review team. This is a deliberate tactic to suppress evidence of their poor quality.
Even worse, they tried to force me to pay the return shipping costs for their faulty, misdescribed item, which directly violates the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. When I pushed back, they offered me an insulting 10 percent refund and a voucher to keep a shirt that is practically unwearable.
I have officially escalated this company to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards, and I have issued them a formal legal notice giving them 9 working days to process a full refund and provide a prepaid return label.
Do not trust the nice pictures on their website. The product you receive will be substandard, and if you try to get your money back, they will use hidden, unfair internal rules to try and deny you your legal rights. Save your money and shop elsewhere.
