The installation went well. But we felt the sales person did not give a true representation of what we were getting or the processes involved. The timing of the billing was incorrectly explained and the adjustment of tilt was less than we were led to believe.

Couldn't fault how friendly and happy to help this company is. There was a problem with one of my blinds and they bent over backwards to keep me happy. Thank you Luxaflex.

Alan was so professional, I couldn’t have ask for a friendlier service. Alan was very understanding when I couldn’t meet in person as my flights were cancelled due to COVID-19 and I had to send a friend in my place organising the whole thing via FaceTime. The rooms were measured up very quickly and the blinds were ready when scheduled. Everything was fitted perfectly and looks great.

I needed assistance with blind selection and installation during COVID. Many places were unhelpful however Mark and team at A Style of Shade were the complete opposite. They were friendly, efficient and professional. They knew their products and were able to offer great advice. I have since used them again for another job. I would highly recommend their services to anyone for a hassle free, effective installation.

We engaged Luxaflex to quote on replacing slimline venetian blinds across the whole front of our home, to control the glare, heat and UV entering out lounge and dining rooms, yet allow the harbour view in. The representative who came to measure up for the quote, Dana, was very efficient and knowledgeable, the wait time for blinds with unique dimensions less than quoted and the installers were very competent and quick, also helpful with our enquiries about other window issues for our renovations. We are also very happy with the tasteful and stylish look of our windows.
Initially I investigated several products to control the sun but enable our view. Luxaflex have a beautiful, quality product, versatile in its use, and we found the company to be very courteous and professional, good at listening, and providing a great solution for our windows. I have two awnings supplied by Style of Shade and recently had one repaired after hail damage. the service has always been very good and is accompanied by good advice on use and how to care for your awnings,

Overall, I like the look of my new blinds (two blinds - Duette Shades - put into my bedroom), however having said that there are some things I am not so happy about. Firstly, I was told by the woman who came to my home to provide a quote, that these blinds did have the capacity to stop all light coming in. I asked specifically about this as there is a constant light on outside my apartment. However, light shines in on the side of one of the blinds, quite a bit, so my bedroom is not blacked out at night. Not sure if this is a fault of the blind, the measuring process or an over expectation. If I had been told not to expect complete black out, then I would have chosen another option e.g. curtains. Secondly, I was not aware that the back of the blinds would be white. I didn't think to ask about the colour on the back of the blind. Not sure if these will look dirty any time soon as I live in the Inner West and it is quite dirty as I am near several main roads. Also, the back of the blinds are seen by people passing by and I really hope they don't start looking dirty anytime soon. Thirdly, at the time of measurement I was recommended that I have the pull down option as it is neat and tidy and easy to pull down. However, I am not able to pull it down myself, and have to get up on a stool each and every morning and each and every evening to pull them up and down. That was not well thought out. I did not truly understand how they worked and took the lady's word for it. Given that these are supposedly one of the best providers of blinds in the market, and they were the most expensive quote I had received, I did expect a more impeccable product.

V happy with the service provided. Blinds arrived earlier than expected. One blind did not fit well and was replaced within two weeks.
