Do not buy from this scam company. They send you terrible quality fakes then block you when you ask for a refund. Absolute fraudsters.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking. Took WEEKS to arrive (from China!) with very poor tracking. And then the quality was abysmal - the garments bear only the vaguest resemblance to what's online; never seen a worse difference. Also, they keep saying they're having closing-down sales... without ever actually closing down. AND, apparently, you can't return anything you bought on sale! (Good luck finding anything that ISN'T on sale). Supposedly 2 British women run it but found it tough to keep going, hence closing down - I no longer believe that for a moment. Chinese scam.

SCAM..I ordered what I thought were…

SCAM..I ordered what I thought were cashmere jumpers, took ages to arrive, terrible quality, poor stitching, totally taken in by the London label and photos.
Upon complaining and attempting to get a refund I received this email ( which I notice many others have received)
My name is Margareth Hathersage and I have been running this shop for more than 20 years with a lot of love and passion.
It is therefore with pain in my heart that I have to tell you that I will soon close the shop.
It has been a difficult decision, but after so many years I would like to spend more time with my grandchildren.
I understand your thoughts on returns, but in this final phase of my business, every sale is incredibly important to me.

Anything left in stock will be lovingly sold out so that I can wrap up this closing in a nice way. It would help me tremendously if you consider keeping the product, perhaps for yourself or to give as a gift to someone dear to you.

Thank you and we apologize for this situation.

I am going to try going through my bank for a refund of £131 .

❌❌❌Luxelle is a scam Company❌❌❌

Luxelle is a scam Company.
❌❌DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM❌❌
I have had the exact same experience as all the other reviewers. The clothes they ship are of terrible quality and if you want to return, they charge you £9.95 to do so and it can take months, they say. Just another scam to get more money out of you.
Check the Luxelle on Companies House website. She claims to have been trading for over 20 years in her advertising but this is a newly registered Company May 2024.

There are more reviews for the same Company
Luxelle London
Variation on the name by adding a space, I suspect there are many more.

SCAM DO NOT USE THIS SITE

As with all reviews before it's a Chinese online organisation posing as a London privately owned company. The coat was shockingly poor quality, but the last straw was this response to my request for a returns label. There must be something to be done for this outright SCAM

CHINESE RIP OFFS

Order took 21days to arrive. No updates on tracking for 11 days.
Garment bears no resemblance whatsoever to the garment I imagined I would receive! A cheap, thin, badly made, ill fitting "winter coat" that wouldn't keep you warm on a sunny Spring day, let alone in the winter months. A total scam. Have donated the "coat" to animal charity to be cut up for bedding. Do not place an order with this highly manipulative scam "business". Would not rate any stars if this site allowed! Stay well clear of Luxelle-London. Nothing to do with London - plenty to do with Chinese rip offs.

Can’t believe I fell for this scam. Wish I had read this before I ordered jumper. Not only did it take ages to arrive Almost a month but the size said XXL. It would fit a child. Not an adult.
PLEASE DONT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.
Read all the reviews and seems it’ll cost me money to get refund so WHATS THE POINT……NOTE TO SELF!!!!
DONT ORDER LIKE THIS AGAIN FROM an ADVERT.

This is a scam

It’s a scam. This is not a UK business and the product I purchased was completely misrepresented at the point of sale. The product is shoddy; fabric, styling & colour nothing like the photo.
I immediately requested a refund, and received this in response:
“….the item is not eligible for a refund or exchange due to hygiene reasons. Our return policy is in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all our customers.

The item, once used or unused, cannot be resold or returned to our inventory as it may have been compromised in terms of hygiene. Maintaining the quality and safety of our products is of utmost importance to us, and we must uphold these standards for the benefit of all our customers.” I suspect this is an illegal practice.

I got scammed by this sad story of a boutique closing down. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. NOT IN LONDON. DOES NOT USE ROYAL MAIL.
I have learnt a valuable lesson read reviews and do not shop online via adverts from social media. Scammers are all over the internet. I have reported to my bank.

My latest email

My latest email. I have no faith that they will respond. Sadly, Trust Pilot doesn't seem to allow photos...
‘Margaret’
I have zero belief that sending photos will help you to come to any ‘decision’ as I am certain that you are already fully aware of the ‘quality’ of the items sent from your Chinese warehouse. I remain 100% dissatisfied and believe that you are essentially defrauding people. I want a full refund of both orders. My order #xxxx is still outstanding. It was not, I repeat NOT, delivered with order #xxxx which was marked on the packaging as parcel 1 of 1.
My order xxxx – note the description of “leather” and “cashmere”. They are neither leather nor natural fibre of any description.
The actual goods
The underside of the material that the bag is made from is clearly man-made. If I could send you the plastic smell to go with it, I would.
The jumper – not natural fibre, thin, misshapen and, of course, no labels. An absolute disgrace. You bring shame on the Chinese people.

No Stars - total scam
I stupidly fell for this on Facebook they pretended to be a business in London closing down owned by a couple of women.
As soon as I paid I realised being shipped from China - still received nothing and to be honest don’t expect to.
Please never order from Luxelle London.
I have tried complaining to Facebook but get nowhere

Scammers

Scammers. Cheap clothes from China.

Items don’t look at all like in picture, bad quality. When I said I want to return the items they wrote:

“Shipping costs will be your responsibility.
A track-and-trace service is required for the return.
A £9.95 administration fee per product will be deducted from your refund to cover processing costs.”

This is the worst after sales practice I have ever seen.

SCAMMERS FROM CHINA

SCAMMERS FROM CHINA! I fell for the whole sob story about a small boutique in London closing down. I have repeatedly requested a refund and for the order to be cancelled and keep being told that it is too late as order on its way. Well its taking a helluva long time. They keep telling me they are legit and that the shop holds its stock at a warehouse in China! I have asked them for the shop address in London and been told its against law to share (bollocks). I have asked why another shop in London called Claire has the same sob story and sells the same shite. They have not replied. I have livid for having fallen for this.
