My parents first used Luxfords in 1971, moving from Weybridge to Brooklands. Although I was only a kid at the time I still remember it as a memorable experience, seeing Mum fretting and the lads re-assuring her not to worry, we know what we are doing!
Which made us use them in 2001 for our move from Walton to Oatlands, and despite an extended key handover all was finished by 7pm (probably because in a crisis they have the ability to pull in a big team of guys, I think we went from 3 to 9 within an hour).
So 21 years later we used them again, after price checking them against 2 other removal companies.
They were cheaper, and the service was excellent. Nothing was a problem, and the full packing service, which frankly is a no brainer as it has such a small on cost, was excellent. All 5 guy's were great and really worked as a Team which was great to see.

Great service all round, very efficient removal/packing and unpacking team, everything carefully wrapped where needed and put where needed in our new home.
Luke, Ryan Louis and Lewis are a great team of workers and nothing was too much trouble for them.

From the very first contact to signing off at the end of the delivery at our new home, we received constant care and assurance. It was my first move for 32 years and we were moving 320 miles north, and a late exchange of contracts added to our anxiety. From the initial quote, which was lower than expected, to packing the property I was vacating, to moving in my new place, the process was faultless and efficient. After taking our house contents into storage until our new place was ready, Luxfords delivered our possessions to our new address very efficiently. The guys were good humoured even when faced with two flights of stairs and no lifts to our flat!

I put in a request for a quote via the website form asking for a small removal only a few days later. Luxfords replied first thing next day with a 'Yes' and competitive pricing. Another firm took six days to respond. Guys really pleasant, turned up spot on time, and were very careful with the items.

Luxfords was recommended to me by a family member who moved six years ago. From the initial visit to moving day everything went smoothly. I’m amazed that the number of boxes supplied were the exact number needed. The three removal men were really friendly and humorous and made the whole move relaxed and not stressful. A truly excellent service which we could not fault. The team made the move way more smooth than we could have hoped for - both the move out (a three storey house) and move in (a second floor apartment with no goods lift) involved a large amount of stairs and the Luxfords team just got on with the job with a smile and worked until the job was finished. We used Luxfords to move locally within Walton recently and would highly recommend them as a removal company. From the initial quote by Chris to the administration in the office pre and post the move by Natalie and Sam, the service provided was excellent, friendly and helpful. A huge massive thanks to our removal team over the 2 days (Chris and Martin) who were absolutely brilliant at getting us packed up and moved. Nothing was too much trouble and it really took the stress out of the whole process. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We came back to Luxfords for help during a building renovation. They were so helpful (as ever) as we packed up the house and moved it into storage.

Luxfords moved us about 2.5 years ago, so they were the obvious choice. They were fabulous - so flexible and nothing too much trouble.

For example, the house was in the midst of the building work as they took everything into storage - not one complaint as they had to step over things and avoid the builders.

When we were ready to move back in, we did it in two stages - again Luxfords were really accommodating. Can't recommend them highly enough
