one again happy with luxrest venice.
venice is a strict for rubish, i think 5 different categories: difficult to deal with if your are not used to it and given enough bags..
upon check out i was asked to take rubish with me to the airport

We've rented from Luxrest 3 times now over the past 10+ years or so, always in different apartments, and have always been very impressed with the quality and good value of their accommodation and also their reliability in all respects, integrity and efficiency. We had a wonderful and relaxing break at Ponte Storto in December and can't wait for our next trip. We recommend Luxrest wholeheartedly and certainly wouldn't consider trusting our accommodation requirements to anyone else!

This is the third time I have relied on Luxrest for accommodation in maybe 15 years. This time I was no exception to the excellent service provided previously. All communications were clear, help provided when necessary and a lovely time was had by our family again.

Everything went smoothly in making the arrangements; the place was as described and Nicolas, our contact, was very helpful in many ways.

Completely positive experience. Website was easy to use, Barbara was responsive and courteous, payment was easily made with credit card, and Paolo was so kind when meeting us, in spite of our travel delay. And thank you for the Prosecco gift in honor of our anniversary! We wish there had been more hot water for the shower, but that's it.

I assume that Luxrest is certainly a good professionnal such as described in others reviews, but my last experience in the San't Elena Garden was clearly disappointing.

Both the kitchen (all appliances and dishes included) and the bathroom should be completely renovated. The owner should not rent this partially refurbished and cosy apartment in this condition despite the qualities it has. The actual state of these two commodities is a shame and would have deserved a price reduction as a proof of good will.

Luxrest Venice were excellent. Very good, efficient service, going beyond the basics, reliable, etc, etc, ticked all the boxes.

The apartment we chose was lovely but had three drawbacks:

1. It was three or so floors up, which I do not recall being evident from the website information and should be disclosed. Ok for me, but my companion travelers were “big” people (and none of us were spring chickens) and had trouble with the stairs;

2. It was in a great location right near the Grand Canal, a market, a vaporetto station (Rialto Mercato) and the Rialto Bridge ... But *very* noisy, all through the night and especially early in the morning when the market opened and the utility boats came;

3. The mosquitoes were horrendous and you could not avoid them. One of my companions had to seek medical assistance when he returned home for the bites.

Re 2 and 3, you could close th shutters/windows but then temperature control became a problem.

Does Venice not allow ambience friendly fly screens!

So, I would use Luxrest again for sure, but not book the same apartment again, despite its great location and superb outlook. It was quite well-equipped otherwise.

Oh, and we ordered the breakfast starter kit but ended up not using a lot of it and had no input into what we got. What Luxrest should do with this is provide a list of things you can choose from rather than providing a set of predetermined items. Luxrest can surely allow one to choose a certain number of items for a set price and/or have individual prices/additional prices for add-on items? That should not be too hard in thi computerized day and age. Simply an interactive menu page with prices would do the trick. It would save getting things you do not want or like and hence save waste.

And for God’s sake mark the hot water on/off switch and put some covering over it so one does not inadvertently and unknowingly turn it off!

We enjoyed our stay in the Greci View apartment with its fabulous views, quiet neighborhood, and space for the three of us to spread out. Excellent restaurants, including Osteria Oliva Nera and Ristorante Da Denis, are just steps away. The apartment perhaps has the quirks and faded elegance of Venice itself, but that was all part of the charm for us. Luxrest Venice was responsive and helpful in all our contacts.

Our recent stay at Ca' dell'Affresco Family apartment was fabulous. A beautiful spacious and well laid out apartment with all the amenities we could ask for. Location was excellent and minutes away from St. Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge. Restaurants, shops and lots of gelato all within minutes away. As well, all communication, check-in and check-out was smooth - Paolo was very helpful and prompt on arrival and took time to provide us with information we needed. Tommaso assisted with our check-out and he was also prompt and pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Venice and would not hesitate to return to Ca' dell'Affresco!

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Luxrest. Communication was easy and always received a prompt response to any inquiry. San Provolo property in Venice was just as pictured: lovely and extremely comfortable. I found the prices to be good for the quality, location, and service offered. Pick up from the San Zaccaria vaporetto was seamless and extremely close to the apartment. Would use their services again and recommend them to friends.

It’s a lovely, light, open apartment, comfortable and very well set-up (with a good kitchen and two bathrooms). It has a splendid view and is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. It was a pleasure to return to the apartment each day after hours of wandering in Venice.

Enjoyed 6 nights in Ponto Storto apartment. The location was excellent and within easy reach of supermarket, bakeries, butchers and of course Rialto Market for fish and fruit and vegetables. The apartment was well appointed and very quiet. Only one criticism (and a small one), there were no small saucepans - not good for boiled eggs! And the toaster did not toast. Would highly recommend the apartment to friends. The service from Barbara at Luxrest Venice from enquiry to checking out at the end was second to none.

We have used Luxrest Venice five times now. Barbara and her team have been excellent to work with so we keep coming back to them. They are our first point of call re rentals and advice on where to stay during our time in La Serenissima. We wouldn't use anyone else!

We stayed in the apartment San Trovaso 2 for two weeks (December 2017 to January 2018). The apartment fulfilled the advertised quality to 100%, it was clean, everything was working, and the organisation of taking and returning the apartment was perfect.
(The only thing to improve is, that all TV-programs were Italian.)

I can fully recommend this company and this apartment.

We have used Luxrest Venice for several years and have always found Barbara and her staff responsive and helpful. For the last three visits we stayed in the Ponte dei Greci apartment. A perfect location in a quiet and peaceful setting. The flat is comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen is small but perfectly adequate for cooking simple meals. The garden space with table and chairs is a bonus.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Luxrest to others and we're looking forward to our next stay.

We stayed in the appartment "Calle Sacrestia" for two weeks. It is located super central, very close to vaporetto stop "San Zaccharia" and to San Marco. The communication with luxrest ist always very good, efficient and friendly. We got picked up by a coworker (Valentina) at the vaporetto station. She then showed us the appartement, explained everything. In the appartment, there is a folder with all informations and phone numbers needed. That is most helpful.
The appartment was very nice furnished, clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. The beds were super comfortable, we slept very well. Our appartment had a big terrasse, that was very nice. WIFI was good - although we sometimes had to switch the router off and on again.
It was the second time, we stayed in an appartment operated by luxrest and it was again a good experience. Thank you.
