My husband and I celebrated our 50th anniversary with 2 weeks in Ireland guided by Luxury Ireland tours (June 1-15, 2025.) Our trip coordinator was fully back by her other team members in case we had a need and she was unavailable. We began with an area familiarization of 3 days in Dublin at the Merrion Hotel. All the staff from housekeepers other the dining room table clearers are friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable of sites to see. A private walkiing tour (Conor Hegarty) and let loss to see Book of Kell's, Dublin Castle, with the reward at Guinness Storehouse Experience. We hit the jackpot with our private driver, Colin Byrne of Cardinal Executive Travel. He was a perfect professional and personable fit to our wonky personalities! Colin made our trip much more than we anticipated. He knew the history of the areas we traveled, the local knowledge with secret paths, best lunch spots, frequent 'rest' stops (TY). We did the coastal drive of Republic of Ireland (all of the Wild Atlantic Way), and Northern Ireland to end in Belfast and bit Colin adieu.
Every site was memorable, thanks to the narratives provided by Colin. Luxury Tours placed us in lovely hotels (except one due to late booking) and castles, notably the Ashford Castle of Guiness fame. We had contemplated doing Ireland on our own as our sons had done on separate occasions, but the husband would be white knuckled focused on the 'other drivers' and the wife would have nose in maps and miss the spectacular views.... at every turn!
Every stop was a highlight: Powerscourt Gardens,Rock of Cashel, Blarney Castle, Jameson's Middleton Distillery Experience, City of Cork, Muckross Abbey, Kerry Cliffs, Dingle, Sea Head Beach, The Burren, Glenlo Abbey, Kylemore Abbey (fantastic cafeteria!), McGee's in Donegal: I can't name them all. We had wet, windy weather but only recall now; we had the right clothes! Pack to layer and have a worthy wind/rain jacket!!

Both main drivers Ewan and Ben were knowledgeable, on time and worked with us when weather and other factors needed small diversions from the plan. Both added a few stops along the way. The hotels were nice. The restaurants were good. We didn't need the 4 Star 4 course dinner, didn't feel it was worth the cost though. All in all we had a great time and would book them again.

We booked a 14 day luxury driving tour through Ireland and Northern Ireland. The accommodations were good to excellent and were diverse including castles and boutique hotels. The itinerary was thoughtful and extensive but allowed no real downtime. The driver who was with us for 11 days was chatty and politically focused in conversation. There were no
glitches and the tour was seamlessly executed. The price of the tour at $19,000 for two was a bit high for the services offered.

My husband and I booked a 7-day tour with Luxury Ireland Tours.
First, the great things about our trip: Michelle did a nice job planning our itinerary. The hotels she chose were fabulous. Our driver, Leo, was amazing. He was our driver/tour guide for the entire trip. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. He made the trip a lot of fun--even on those days where the weather wasn't cooperating. If this review were just about him, it would be 5-star.
Where we were most disappointed was with the lack of communication and follow-thru with the Luxury travel coordinators. We are seasoned travelers and we regularly use tour companies in the countries we're traveling to create customized tours/itineraries for us. With other tour agencies, we are given one point of contact--one person who we could call with questions prior to the trip and who was available 24/7 during the trip, aside from the driver, in case anything happened. We didn't have that with Luxury. There were no fewer than 6 people who connected with us on our itinerary, which would be ok if they all communicated with each other but that didn't seem to be the case. I had to call the office on the first day of our tour when there was confusion around a tour we were supposed to have. The person who answered the phone couldn't find our name or our itinerary (not a good sign). After a while, she found it and said something different than what our coordinator told us. When I told her our travel coordinator told us otherwise, she said that particular coordinator 'had left the company a little while ago'. I told her I was confused because I was just communicating with her via email 2 days ago and she said 'someone else must have been answering her emails' under the prior employees name. What?
Also we were disappointed that Luxury didn't provide the hotels with our room preferences when they booked the rooms (each of our rooms in 3 of the 4 hotels we stayed were on the bottom floor when we requested a higher floor). Of course, preferences are not guaranteed, but the hotels said they weren't even given our preferences. The hotels also weren't given our contact information so they had no way of getting in touch with us if they needed to. This became necessary when there was a major storm the last few days of our trip. One of the hotels needed to get in touch with us prior to our arrival and didn't have our phone numbers. They said they called Luxury travel and didn't hear back.
After our trip, we didn't receive any final communication from Luxury. Not a 'thank you for trusting us with your travel plans', not a 'how was your trip/let us know how we did' . . nothing. We expected much more of a professional service given the amount of money we gave them for our vacation and, beyond our driver, we didn't receive it. It felt like after they got their money, that was it.

Luxury Tours Ireland made personal trip to Ireland the best possible,the drivers were not only professional but very nice and friendly. Hotels and all excursions were wonderful and the excursions were top notch. Highly recommend this tour company.

Five star experience all around. Besides the wonderful locations and tours, the personalized care and responsiveness was what really stood out. We had two little hiccups, neither of which was cause by luxury travel, but Amy, our coordinator worked quickly and cooperatively to help us find resolution. And our driver, Aiden, made the experience even better. I can no recommend them more highly.

Luxury Ireland Tours nailed it. We stayed in beautiful and comfortable accommodations and visited awesome locations in Ireland.

Everything was extremely well-organized, and all the attractions were paid for in advance. I never had to touch my wallet.

Ireland was awesome to visit. On a trip like this, the most important part is the driver. In our case, Paul was exceptional. He was always accommodating, his knowledge of our route and each venue was complete, and he was just plain fun to hang around with. He was simply the best we could have hoped for.

I'd work with these guys again in a heartbeat.

Amy made planning our trip a breeze. Having a driver allowed us to really relax & enjoy our time together as a family. Wish we could have taken a longer trip.

We were a mixed age (8 to 78) group of 7 people; parents, children, grandchildren, and siblings (all related) traveling together for the first time.
Luxury Ireland Tours did a perfect job of planning activities, timing, and locations for our group with varying interests and needs. Accommodations and restaurant choices were exactly right (and necessary, by the way--eating places are all very busy). Any changes requested in planning itinerary (e.g. more leisurely routing, higher grade hotel) were easily and happily arranged.
We would highly recommend this Company and will use them for any future visits to this wonderful part of the world.

We recently traveled to Ireland with Luxury Travel, and I can confidently say this was a fantastic vacation for our large, extended family! Our group of 18 had the most incredible time, thanks to their impeccable planning and attention to detail.

We all felt safe, entertained, and cared for the entire time.

Communication with Luxury Travel was seamless. Every detail was meticulously handled, and they were always available to answer any questions or accommodate any last-minute requests, such as having a large birthday cake at one restaurant to celebrate an 80th birthday. They went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing, stress-free trip, and they succeeded in every way.

My Husband and I took my parents to Ireland for their 50th Anniversary and we we could not have asked for a better experience. From our preliminary planner, to our Ireland contact and then our actual driver/guide, it was wonderful. Everyone was extremely responsive and professional. In particular, we cannot say enough about our driver/guide. Darin was amazing!!!!! Ask for him.

Luxury Ireland Tours provided an experience beyond expectations for our extended family (group of 7) 10 day tour. Everything was easy from the planning to the execution. The hotels were lovely and restaurants were excellent choices meeting our groups varied needs. The best part of our tour was our driver, David. David really was exceptional being both tour guide and driver. He shared the history of Ireland and the sites, he tailored timelines and activities to our group (ranging from 79 years to 22 months), and suggested sites and activities we were unaware existed. David added special touches such as researching our family in Fethard while we had lunch and sharing their history with us while we explored the town. The tour operator also arranged for my parents to have an outstanding room with a dessert tray and letter from the hotel wishing them a happy 55th anniversary on their anniversary day. They were so happy with this special touch. I highly recommend Luxury Ireland Tours and be sure to request David as your driver.

The accommodations and experiences for our trip through Scotland and Ireland were wonderful and the restaurants outstanding! I can't say enough about both of our drivers - they were both excellent and had so much to share which added to the experience, from recommending and stopping at local lunch spots, to giving us more details about what we were seeing! I always travel first class with private tours and driver if moving frequently. From first contact with MV Luxury Ireland Tours, they exceeded every expectation. We used Luxury Ireland Tours for our Spring Break trip to Ireland and had a FANTASTIC experience. The tour they put together and the staff were absolutely amazing to work with. We have three teenage high school boys, and they all enjoyed the trip as well! Alan and his team made our trip completely effortless, and we even asked to make some last-minute changes, which they were able to accommodate. Highly recommend Luxury Ireland tours if you are planning a trip to Ireland! Every detail of our 12 day trip was impeccably planned and it turned out to be the vacation of a lifetime! We worked with Florence - she was extremely patient, professional and helpful throughout the planning process all the way through execution. We were a fairly large group of 11, including grandparents, teenagers and elementary aged kids. Florence ensured our itinerary appealed to everyone in our group and she did a phenomenal job. Each day our driver Andrew picked us up in a beautiful, comfortable and spacious van. He would go over the plans for the day and we’d arrive at each of our itinerary stops on time (I highly recommend requesting Andrew as your driver as he is amazingly knowledgeable about Ireland as well as being very kind, funny, thoughtful and accommodating)
The hotels Florence chose were perfect, beautiful and clean. Our absolute favorite was Glenlo Abbey in Galway. Check-in at each location was seamless. Florence made sure the check-in packets were organized perfectly upon our arrival. Some of our favorite itinerary stops were the sheep dog demonstration and the school of falconry at Ashford Castle. If you are planning a trip do not hesitate to go with Luxury Ireland Tours - you will not be disappointed. Every last detail will be seamlessly organized so you can enjoy all of the beauty of Ireland without worry!

Our tour through Ireland far exceeded our expectations! We experienced lovely cities and breathtaking countryside and learned quite a bit of history in the process. The accommodations that were made for us were a perfect compliment to each location, from a sleek modern hotel to a historic 5 star castle. Luxury Ireland Tours handled every last detail and were always easy to communicate with from day 1. I would highly recommend this company.
