They made our first trip to Ireland, with three generations, an amazing experience. Our kids, 11 and 8, went into the trip not being excited and left not wanting to leave. The companies they contract with are fantastic and we enjoyed the activities. When planning the itinerary, they listen to what you are looking for and execute the plan. They also will make dinner recommendations and reservations which makes the end of the day be stress free. Would highly recommend.

The tour company (Private Tours Ireland) was uniquely responsive, pleasant and helpful throughout our booking period and the tour itself.
We were assigned an absolutely wonderful driver (Colin). He was so knowledgeable, experienced and fun, that the four of us on the tour were always entertained and informed.
We had a relatively aggressive week-long tour scheduled starting in Dublin, thence Galway, Adare, Killarney, Cork and back to Dublin.
The entire process exceeded our expectations.
The weather was not that cooperative, but did not interfere with our plans.
All in all a wonderful tour. We would absolutely book again!

She took the time to ask about what we wanted to see, the types of experiences we were hoping for, and even where we wanted to eat. Once she had a draft itinerary, we worked together to refine it, and she was extremely patient and helpful, offering great suggestions and realistic timing to ensure we could truly enjoy each location. Her attention to detail made the planning process seamless and enjoyable.

One of the absolute highlights of the trip was staying overnight in a castle—a magical experience that felt like stepping back in time. We also had the chance to watch a sheepdog demonstration, which was not only impressive but gave us a real appreciation for rural Irish life. The falconry experience was unforgettable as well—getting up close with these majestic birds in such a beautiful setting was truly special. And for the golfers in the group, playing a round of golf on a classic Irish course was a bucket-list moment brought to life.

Of course, none of it would have been as smooth or enjoyable without Michael, our driver, who was absolutely fantastic. He managed to navigate even the narrowest of Irish roads with calm precision, always arriving right on time. Beyond his driving skills, he brought the history of Ireland to life with fascinating stories, had us laughing constantly, and made us feel incredibly well cared for. Having a private driver made all the difference—we never had to worry about logistics and were able to truly relax and enjoy every moment.

Private Tours Ireland delivered an unforgettable, personalized, and perfectly executed trip. Every member of our family agrees—it was one of our best vacations ever.
