Excellent service for a RICS Survey Level 2, which I'd highly recommend. Very professional, Justin was easy to speak with on the phone and he found space in his diary in no time, collected keys from estate agents, kept me informed, gave me a call right after the visit and then prepared a really comprehensive report in a couple of days.

We booked LVB surveying via a third party conveyancing company to conduct a L3 survey on our first house purchase and Lee was excellent from the start. Our survey was booked in for the next working day and Lee called once it had been completed to run through key fundings. We had the report a few days later which was clearly structured, and Lee was also more than happy to answer follow-up questions over the phone in a clear and understandable manner. We had some concerns about damp readings in an area of the property which were mitigated by his experience and informed perspective on the property condition.

Having had such a great experience with Lee doing the structural survey on my house purchase last year, in which the follow up questions and post survey support service was second to none, I recently had to call upon his services again to do an assessment of the work carried out on my home renovation, the standards of which have been called into question. I again had a great experience, he fitted me in quickly despite my being a good distance away from his locale. He was prompt, efficient, honest and reassuring in regards the assessment itself, and gave me good guidance on the next steps available to me as I navigate this awful situation. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lee to anyone and everyone!

One of the properties we had to withdraw from due to probate, while for the other, we're nearly ready to exchange contracts. I paid for a level 3 survey and I am so glad I did as there were so many things in the house I was buying that needed addressing. I would never have known about the roof which was pretty bad amongst a number of other things so I'm super happy with this company for pointing out what needs to be done before I progress with the sale. So polite and helpful too.

I am in the process of buying my first home. It's a purpose built flat that's approximately ~25 years old so although relatively new and unlikely to have any significant issues, I decided to have a RICS level 2 survey completed for peace of mind.

My solicitor recommended a national firm who quoted £620. I got some quotes through Really Moving and found LVB Surveying to be considerably more competitive (not far off of half the price), and I was also encouraged by the fact that it was a local company (based in the nearest town) and an independent; I figured an independent is more accountable for their work compared to a huge company.

Kim followed up on the quote by phone, asked a few questions and explained how it all worked, and said she would be in touch once they had agreed a date for the survey with the vendor/estate agent. I had an email within an hour, telling me that the survey would be conducted the next day!

Lee completed the survey at the stated time and gave me a brief call once he had finished, giving me an overall impression of the property and explaining that he would get the written report over to me shortly. I received the thoroughly written and well photographed report a few days later.

I can't fault the company or Lee. Buying any property is stressful and LVB Surveying made this portion of the process as painless as possible. They work in a timely fashion; communicate effectively; and are more than competitive on pricing. I couldn't recommend them more!
