Horrible customer service.
They take your money and are very responsive in that period but then drag the work out when you've paid. Changed names in the middle of when they were meant to support me and ask for more money to provide assistance.

Do not use these people. They are scammers and have changed company name multiple times to avoid negative complaints. They also have no clue about UK Family law. All appear to be based in South Africa. They didn’t adhere to anything contracted and are not willing to give any fees back. They take block payments then run down the allotted time, forcing you to make another large block payment. Avoid at all costs. Previously named Perduco law Ltd

I have been blocked at the beginning of this year,no contact and my case is still ongoing.I have lost thousands of pounds and I dont know what to do.
I was dealing with Samantha Perkins and I cant contact her at all.
I have reported the company

Absolutely shocking, not heard from this company since the 18th of december, have emailed and called multiple times and no prevail.

After doing research i have later discovered that this firm has been taken down and intervened on the 24th december and can no longer represent anyone.

Lost out on thousands of pounds and now have to contact the company who intervened to track the money.

Avoid it at all cost just hassle after hassle

I would encourage anyone considering this firm to do some background research before engaging them.

A few things are publicly available that I think will be helpful:

Companies House shows that this business and another legal services company share the same director, and both have had various corporate changes over the last couple of years.

There are Employment Tribunal judgments online involving one of the linked companies, which anyone can read directly on gov.uk.

Both company names also appear in public SRA decision records and investigation updates, which are easy to search on the SRA website.

The firm’s Terms & Conditions link on the website was not working when I visited, which made it difficult to understand the basis on which services are offered.

I’m sharing this because it may be useful for others to review all available information before making a decision.

No personal allegations - just encouraging people to check the publicly available records themselves.

In Response to 'lawyer up team' - After my experience with yourselves, I feel compelled to point people in the right direction of publicly available information and the background of your business and your directors. As an example, your publicly available website states lawyer up has been established since 2019. However, companies house states lawyer up was incorporated 17th October 2023. It is worth noting however, that another business on companies house (Companies House number 11908545) is linked to both lawyer up through the directors of the business, That was incorporated on 27 March 2019. I would encourage people to research publicly available information on that business and their record. Again, no accusations from myself. Just encouraging people to do further due diligence. That is the very essence of what Trustpilot is about.

Currently in proceedings for financial remedy and after an initial not so great process with a different solicitor, Courtnay Chamberlain took over my case & she has been absolutely brilliant. She's professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. More importantly, she listens and has been very supportive. Samantha has gone above and beyond what I expected from a divorce solicitor. She has been as driven in our latest communications as our first communication which were over a year ago. When you are under a lot of stress and you need legal help you do not want to be sent a invoice every month for every single email that has been sent as that just adds more stress to a already stressful situation.
Lawyer UP listen to you and act for you under one fixed price yes there could be a few additional costs but they are there to guide you through all situations.

Luyanda Mbatha was wonderful and offered great advice.

Lawyr up have been assisting me with divorce proceeds and sensitive child arrangements . Their fixed fee is fair and affordable and they offer interest free payment plans which helps with spreading the cost. Special mention to Samantha Perkins who has been fantastic in helping push my difficult divorce along constantly chasing the other side and being proactive instead of reactive. Usually solicitor firms in my prior experience you have to chase constantly where as Lawyr up are not like that, you get prompt responses and they always offer to have a call over the phone to provide any understanding, support and reassurance. The only thing that could be improved is responses from the accounts team are extremely slow when you have a query about your payments/account. Other than that I’d recommend using Lawyr up!
