In 2021, I was approached to write the copy for their new website. After producing the work and delivering it, the owner refused to pay and stopped answering all calls and emails. The copy supplied was then used without my permission.

It then transpired that he had a history of this kind of behaviour. This was not immediately evident as I was in touch with an intermediary.

Very disappointing.

In total we had seven different in experienced solicitors change over as they have such high staff turnover. I don’t want to mention any names but the barrister and the solicitor who turned up at court couldn’t believe we were still using the firm for our child arrangement order. In the end it came to light that the company didn’t give a damn and they just make quick money. I lost my daughter because of such inexperienced solicitors. They also attempted to take an additional £3000 out of my account. Luckily it bounced and I changed my card details. They also use to send me bill on the morning of the court cases, which I think is horrendous, so you panic. I lost my child and I wish for no one else to go through what this solicitors put me through. I am £15,000 down and worse off.

5 stars for Courtnay Chamberlains expertise. She is kind and understanding but also highly professional. She meticulously organised absolutely everything for me which was a great weight lifted of my shoulders during a stressful time. Perduco Law were a great choice due to their fixed fees so no out of control charges.

Asked n for my case to be cancelled all acknowledged by Perducoibky to have £416z65 taken from my account to Perduco by premium credit
Perduco acknowledged any mistake and still premium Credit and won’t take accountability
So so so poor as a single mother this is theft and I will be taking legal action

Fixed cost was so reassuring

if you are in the UK look up companies house business number 11908545 then Company Number OC449554 you will see the company has had a lot of name changes, changes in directors, ask to meet them and go to their office in London!! the address looks like apartment block they took payment said they had done things but had no evidence despite various requests, most the positive reviews on here ether are from new users or outside the uk. I started using them in November last year spoke with one person who sounded really good, then got passed over to quickly take first payment, then they did a few poorly written emails, copying in ex wife to things they shouldn't have, they said everything was done but couldn't prove it and kept chasing for me to make the final payment,

I first contacted Perduco on the 24th January and after a very productive initial phone call I signed paperwork to start my financial settlement and divorce with them. Since then I have been told numerous times, when I can actually speak to someone that knows what on earth is going on - ‘Please note that we are in the process of finalising the audit of all files, yours being one thereof that needs to be addressed. We cannot get back to you until we have received feedback from our accounting team and director regarding same.
Please be patient whilst we obtain our instructions and will revert as soon as we have the necessary feedback to discuss with you’

It is completely unreasonable that they have left me with no further information for nearly 4 months. This has delayed my divorce and the whole process and has left me stressed and unwell.

Absolutely disgusting customer service and ridiculous of them pride themselves on doing this to people during the worst times of their lives!

In response the the laughable reply, I signed an Acknowledgment of Debt with the company and was advised I would need to pay once the settlement was received from my ex-husband, which would be 50% of the equity from our martial home minus what is owed on the mortgage - so around £70,000 - does that not count as asset?! The solicitor who I spoke to and took on the case seemed to think so hence the AOD being issued and signed.
As for them sending me emails - nothing (as usual!)
From reading other reviews it was a lucky escape for me! The Legal Ombudsman and the SRA have been contacted and are keen to take this further on my behalf.

Perduco Law have been withholding my £65,000 settlement from my ex-partner for 5 weeks, with no timeframe for when my funds will be released. I was initially told I would receive the funds by 1st April 2025, following a stated 7–10 working day period for anti-money laundering (AML) checks. That date has passed, and I still have not received my money.

The property deeds were transferred to my ex five weeks ago, so I no longer have ownership of the house or access to my share of the equity

On 1st April, I posted a review reflecting my experience. The following day, I had a phone call with the firm’s Managing Director, and my solicitor. In my view, the tone of the conversation was both aggressive and unprofessional. I was told that the forms required to release my £65,000 would not be provided unless I removed my review. Peter also said if I didn't remove the review Perduco Law would stop representing me and send my £65,000 back to my ex-partner's conveyancer (even though the deeds had been transferred into his name). I felt extremely pressured and intimidated into deleting my review.

Both representatives assured me that if I removed the review, the funds would be sent by Friday 4th April. I removed the review, but the funds were still not released.

Communication has been extremely poor since I engaged this firm. Phone calls frequently go unanswered and cut off after a minute, rather than placing you in a queue as most professional firms do in my experience. This has required me to make repeated calls in an attempt to get an update on my life savings, which I still do not have.

As a result of this ongoing uncertainty, the firm’s continued failure to release my funds, and the pressure placed on me to remove my review in order to access them, I have been forced to take an extended period off work due to stress. I have repeatedly informed the firm that I am living in overcrowded, temporary accommodation and that this money represents my life savings.

The firm continuously tell me someone from finance or compliance will update me and all their 'updates' consist of is we have no update for you - Perduco Law are holding my life savings how can you possibly not have an update on when I will receive my money?? I have received no proof of funds or confirmation where my money is or has been held for the past 5 weeks, there is no transparency with this firm.

I was also told that the Managing Director, would be in contact with me, yet I have not heard from him once since he asked me to remove my review in order to receive my funds.

I have been pulled from pillar to post by another company but because of this company i made the best decision ever, in them i got my divorce with all the hard work everyone has put into it.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone, they gave me a price and that was it they kept me informed all of the way.

This is very misleading information as I was under the impression the fixed fee of over 2.5k was for my case to be dealt with however this was a fee for my first court date only. To then be told I would need to be pay another fee of over 3.7k for the next court date. Which was an extremely unexpected fee and therefore I will now have to find a company that will provide services without misleading expenses.
