AVOID IF YOU CAN!!!
Price-wise there are few advantages if you have monthly contracts. There are other suppliers who deliver better service.
Just look at the website. The bad quality, garbled language and awful functionality is exactly what you get once you sign on.
Technically, they seem to use the cheapest and worst quality solutions, meaning that your calls seldom go through and once you do have a connection voice quality is very bad. Again, AVOID IF YOU CAN.

Registration failed and instead of trying to be helpful, the customer support talked over me for a minute and told me to go to a physical location to solve the issue or contact by mail, which, of course does not work. Huge waste of time and nerves.

Very disappointing experience
Unfortunately, my experience with Lyca has been extremely disappointing. The customer service has been unhelpful and difficult to deal with. I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously and that communication was lacking.
Additionally, the service quality and plan structure did not meet my expectations. Overall, I am not satisfied with the support or the value provided.
I hope the company will improve its customer service approach and provide clearer solutions for customers in the future.

Appalling customer service with just standard replies even when it doesn't address your issues. The number they say to use when calling from abroad, is NOT ASSIGNED so I have no means of talking to anyone to cancel an auto renewal. Have now sent some 6 emails with not one reply addressing the issues I have raised but continuously telling me to use my phone to address the issues. I had a temporary ESIM for travelling to the UK and no longer have access to it so can't follow through what they are telling me to do , which is the standard reply . A VERY FRUSTRATING experience. Could NOT recommend Lyca mobile to anyone

I am no longer is possession of the lycamobile as it was purchased for a trip to the UK in early Dec.This was purchased as an E SIM card online.
Inadvertedly when I received an email advising that I was short on data( I wasn't) I purchased additional data around Dec 10th and applied autorenewal. with my Credit Card -9126
This was my mistake. I am now trying to cancel this auto renewal .
I LIVE IN CANADA.so am 7 hours behind the UK time.
PLEASE you have all the info you received PLEASE cancel the auto renewal. I have no access to do anything this end so please don't ask me again to sign into my account. It no longer exists.
Also I can't call you directly as I've tried and it says the number for international calls is not assigned.
Emails were sent Jan 12th,Jan 13thJan 17th and Jan 20th through my email address - which you already have.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME A STANDARD REPLY again as none of it is relevant to my issue that I am trying to resolve.

I became a customer of Lycamobile expecting basic customer respect, including communication in English, as clearly selected in the app. Instead, I received all important messages in German.
Because of this failure, I did not realize I needed to take action to protect my funds — and as a result, I lost money. This was completely avoidable and is a direct consequence of Lycamobile ignoring the chosen communication language.
It is unacceptable that the company refuses to acknowledge this mistake. This experience has been frustrating, disrespectful, and offensive. I cannot recommend Lycamobile and will be looking for another mobile operator immediately.
I strongly urge the company to take this seriously and ensure that communication is provided in the customer’s chosen language. Treating customers this way is not acceptable.

I’ve never seen that in my entire life. Firstly, when you bought a Prepaid SIM card from LYCA Mobile, it’s really complicated. You have to pass through an app called “idnow”, it’s supposed to scan your ID but it just doesn’t work. I have tried several times. I mean, I’ve bought many Prepaid Sim in my travels, whether in Fiji, Indonesia, Australia etc… I never had any problems and the installation was very simple. Here, cause of a scan that doesn’t work, you’re stuck because you can only activate your sim through the app. And the advisors I spoke to on the phone were really unhelpful, they did nothing to resolve the situation. I've never seen such disastrous customer service. The tobacconist where I bought the prepaid SIM card was just as surprised as I was, and in the end, we were both angry because it was a waste of our time. So, I really don’t recommend you to go to LYCA Mobile, find another operator. It can only get better.

I have to rate this company one star again, because of its handling of customer complaints.
As you see from my one star review on trustpilot of Lyca mobile CH in the past 2 months (see detailed descriptions there; basically Lyca mobile stole 300 CHF by activating a susbcription (for 3 months with DAILY charges without me ever using the card) I have never activated and by activating auto-renewal I never activated; then they just said I would have done that myself) they answered the following:
"Regarding your issue, please allow us some time to investigate thoroughly. We will get back to you as soon as possible with an update."
I wrote to the customer complaint service - I did not get ANY answer at all
They never got back to me with an update as they promised.
Not only stealing, but also lying. Well done.

Service is worse than you can imagine, no matter where you go in switzerland you get 2/5 Bars of signal, Crazy slow speeds even the biggest package i've purchased which is 300GB of highest speed internet. Crazy, never ordering again.

Bought a Lycamobile eSIM in Switzerland (Hello Swiss M for CHF 24) and it’s been a nightmare. I uploaded my passport and did the video selfie, but the IDnow app crashed with error E103. Since then I can’t re-verify, can’t use data, and the SIM is basically useless.
I can make calls but no internet at all, which is the main reason I bought it. Support gave me a case number but no real help. I’ve wasted hours trying network resets, reinstalling the eSIM, everything problem is clearly on their side.
Honestly, I regret not reading other reviews before purchasing. I would really appreciate a refund for the inconvenience because I paid for a plan I can’t even use.

I currently have a 24-month plan with unlimited calls, SMS, and data within the CH for only 14 CHF a month.
Several months ago, I had to pay the bill. There was an error with the payment system, and my card was charged twice.
I contacted the support via email and am still waiting for a response.
Then, last month I got an email from Lyca saying that my bill was 60 CHF!
I contacted the customer support and am still waiting for a response.
At this point, I just wanted to cancel my subscription and forget about this once and for all.
I wrote an email, and after weeks I'm still waiting for a reply.
I even tried to threaten them saying that I'll proceed with legal proceedings if this doesn't end well.
What a terrible experience.

Non existent customer service. I have tried to contact them via all possible ways. I have purchased an eSIM and reached up to the point of identification and never been able to activate it. Phone help was not problem solving. Emails were never answered therefore I need money refund. On the phone the operator said that it was possible. How? No contact available and complaint email address is not working, mail delivery fails. I am very disappointed since I have purchased this package for my son who is travelling to Switzerland. I should have read the other customers reviews first.

Internet connection issue caused by me due to wrong settings I made on my phone. I contacted Lycamobile's technical service by phone, which solved the problem in a couple of hours through three automatic configurations they sent me via SMS, asking me to proceed with the installation of the same.

The more time passes, the worse it gets.
- my phone number is not always shown to people. Sometimes they don’t pick up because it appears as a weird number calling from abroad (like from Romania, Poland, Ireland etc., so people think I’m adv or scam). I mentioned it to the client service, and nothing has been done to solve the issue.
- Doesn’t always work when making national calls, without any reason.
- Client service is really bad. I’ve waited 40 min on the line to speak to someone, and nobody replied. They said “for immediate assistance contact our virtual assistant LYA” but also there nobody replied for 20 minutes.
- Hotspot stopped working out of the blue and without any reason or warning.
- In the past two weeks I have been BOMBARDED with adv messages, even 5 in an hour, all the same.
