My recent experience with Lynx left me utterly disappointed and financially wounded. In what I thought would be a simple conversion of $4000 USD worth of stocks for stock dividend, I ended up with a bill of $1040 USD, plus additional undisclosed fees.
Initially, I believed I was instructing a conversion from the US stock exchange to stock dividends. Instead, my stocks were transferred to Hong Kong, and I was slapped with a whopping $1000 USD charge, along with undisclosed position fees for 2 positions, totaling over 25% of my original investment.
What's most disappointing is that these exorbitant costs were nowhere to be found in the main window during the transaction process. I unwittingly pressed 'accept', only to realize later the financial sinkhole I had fallen into.
Upon contacting Lynx, their response was dishearteningly dismissive. They simply stated that the transaction was executed as requested and did not to offer compensation for the lack of transparency and shockingly high fees.
Such practices should be avoided especially in an industry where trust and transparency should be paramount. If someone form Lynx is reading this, please help to resolve. It's a lot of money for me.

Couldn't get into my account tonight ... the Trading Platform version 1012.2i was no longer suported. No 'easy' button to install the latest version. Very unprofessional for a company that calls itself ... professional. Managed to load a new version after all and it works now. But what if I had to sell positions in a hurry? How about sending an E-mail to your customers to request them to download a new software version (and how)? Seems easy to me. I'm going to look for another broker ... can't have things like these in a time where the stock market is as volatile as it is now.

I am very satisfied with the LYNX trading platform that I am using for a couple of months. Large offering of trading global financial instruments. Good control over your trading. Easy trading also in currency, next to stocks, options, etcetera. Good, valuable information (incl. financial information) about the companies you want to invest in, so you can do your trading with diligence. Good learning opportunities also (instruction videos, learning classes, summary reports, etcetera). You have to invest some time in it, but it is interesting, learningful, joyful and it pays off.

I applied for a new account on the 7th of February '21. Due to a high number of new clients, opening of the account would take 2 weeks. One month later, I contacted their customer service. I was told a lot of issues with Brexit had to be solved which was different from the information on their site. Also, something went wrong, on their side, with my application. But, the new account would be opened in less than two weeks. Now, I got a e-mail they EXPECT the account will be opened second half of April. Almost THREE months after initial application. In this day and age, how can a broker take THREE months to open an account? Furthermore, why the continous different stories? IF I would know, I would not have parked a substantial amount of money for more more than a month and trade elsewhere. As I am doing right now.

I trade for 1,5 years with them now and I'm just so disappointed with their services.. The people on the telephone are just trainee's that can't answer the most simple questions... I also found very odd costs in my Reports that till today’s I have no clue what they mean. Do yourself a favor and get another broker. I will!

I believe lynx is an amazing company and I love there products but I believe a banana and strawberry lynx or a banana and vanilla lynx or a banana on it’s own would be good I would really like to see this as a product please get back to me ASAP
When you deposit money and start trading, they do not mention that you can not transfer money back out without filling in US tax forms. Even if you do not have US listed stock and no dollars.
This way the US has access to ALL your financial data.
bad services , If you put money into account you can not transferred back due to some stupid suff.
Suddenly they activated a monthly fee which I was not informed and all money from the account were spend there.
I already had a bunq and binck account and wanted to have an additional account at Lynx because binck does not support Api's. Due to unexplained compliancy rules i was not excepted.
I am a risk manager myself and perform due dilligence on bigger banks and asset managers but this is just ridiculous. No explanation or whatsoever.

Possibilities, quality, service and costs are very good. What would you like more?
Lynx must be the only financial agent that has unilaterally changed their terms.
When I transferred my portfolio, they promised there weren't any maintenance fees.
A few years later they changed their own terms and they started charging a maintenance fee.
When I asked them to retrieve it, they said it was their new policy and that I could leave them if I wanted to.
I regret my decision to start with Lynx
Beware! Their terms now might be different in the future

This is a good service, with up to date information promolgated.
Capable software for PC and mobile, good prices. Might not be easy for beginners.
The platform works great, good range of order types to execute. Clear answers to all questions I had, answered within the day I've asked them. Nothing to complain about.
The customer service was superb.
The minor part was the reason, that they charged an incorrect interest for a bitcoin future.
They don't close fx positions automatically and they don't inform you about this. You may find interest taken from your account without you knowing.
