We sold our flat in November with Callum, Gillan and David at Macfarlane & Young, and they were absolutely brilliant. Communication was excellent throughout, with viewings arranged quickly. When the first sale fell through, they acted immediately and had it sold again within days.

He made very useful suggestions about what we could do to our property before putting it on the market. His valuation was accurate and we were very happy with the offered we accepted. We were recommended to this firm by a 3rd party. We dealt with Calum and Gillian, both were pragmatic, did not ‘blow smoke’ as means of securing business and followed through on dates and process.
They have formed a great team around the business including photographers (with drone operators), experienced copywriters and surveyors for home reports. Excellent exposure both digitally and through existing client bank resulted in offers from both. Offers were made on second day of house being on placed market.
Calum’s valuation was spot on and as he anticipated offers were in excess of this.

I first engaged with Gillian Neil at MacFarlane Young Estate & Lettings when I asked them to rent out one of our properties in Paisley. The process was seamless as she took some details and then within an extremely short period of time had a tenant who was exactly the profile of who we wanted. In addition Gillian achieve a higher rental value which we were delighted with. Gillian is competent in what she does and next year when we sell our family home she will be our agent without a doubt. Great service!

Whereas, Calum and Gillian were more helpful by making sure our house was in the best possible condition for valuation and buyers. They guided us throughout and told us exactly what to do to get the most money for our house. Despite our initial buyers pulling out, we had such a positive experience. They had the house back on the market and more viewers in the next day. Sold our house in less than a week for more than we thought we could get (twice!).

Highly recommend Macfarlane Young. We were originally going to go with a high street chain but Calum and Gillian proved we made the right decision. They provided an exceptional service that was both reliable and personalised, taking the time to understand our specific needs and budget, offering tailored advice and expertise throughout the process.

Can't recommend macfarlane young enough. We were tempted to go with another well known company in the area however went macf young due to the hands on and personal service offered by calum and Gillian. Everything from start to finish was first class and if we move again will 100% be using them.

Had previously dealt with Calum when he was at another company to purchase my first flat. It was seamless from start to finish and made a daunting process seem so simple. After 3 years in the property it only felt right to go with Calum at Macfarelane Young to sell the property.

We had viewings lined up before the property was even on the market which was more than ideal. The flat was on for less than a week and I had received an offer I was more than happy with.

Both Gillian and Calum were excellent throughout the whole process and made selling a house a lot more relaxing than it tends to be. The timing worked brilliantly as we had to have our flat under offer before reserving a new build house. Calum was aware of this and was on the ball to make sure the flat sold as quick as possible to ensure we reserved our new house.

Also, being associated with Macfarelane Young solicitors made everything streamlined and I wasn’t having to deal with different lawyers etc. Everyone was aware of timelines that had to be met and pushed the sale (&purchase) through.

First time buyer here. Really unimpressed with my dealings with Macfarlane Young Estate & Lettings. I dealt with Calum Dickson who would not reply to my emails or return my calls which ultimately cost me the opportunity to put an offer down for a property that I was seriously interested in.

I was booked for a viewing at a property and Macfarlane Young Estate & Lettings had negotiated an offer and cancelled my viewing the morning of, forfeiting my opportunity to make an offer of my own.

I think it's fair to say I will be staying well clear of this company and any properties associated with them.
