Sold Faulty good s purchased a golf club travel bag that…

I purchased a golf club travel bag that was faulty as on first journey the stitching to the base came undone, I emailed Macgregor to be fobbed of with their policy called the Montreal convention that deemed it the fault of the airways and Macgregor washed their hands of all responsibility of selling the faulty bag, would not recommend buying products from this company

Broken Clubs and Poor Customer Service

Purchased the DCT3000 Men’s Package Set in October 2021. By December 2021 the 5-iron head had broken by detaching from the shaft. This was replaced within the one-year warranty in January 2021. By December 2022, 3 further clubs had broken – 9-iron and pitching wedge heads came clean off (the latter when replacing the club in the bag) and 8-iron detached from the shaft.

Clearly, the iron set was either faulty or of very poor quality. Contacted customer service about replacing the faulty set in Dec 2022 (14 months after purchase) and was refused replacement with no other options offered. Extremely disappointed with the poor customer service and surprised with repeated breaks that MacGregor did not seem concerned by the quality and did not want to investigate further. Now left with a massive gap in the bag, unable to replace broken clubs and likely a matter of time before the next club breaks.

Would strongly avoid purchasing from MacGregor, the one-year warranty is strictly enforced on the clubs which should be designed to be used over several years, not break after 1 year.

Still haven’t received my parcel which was a present for Christmas, so was made to get something else.

Refused to Change bag type

Had to buy a cart bag with my clubs (As I'm left handed).

Even though I wanted a right handed stand bag.

When asking the question of customer services, it took a long time to get a reply!

The golf travel bag arrived on time for…

The golf travel bag arrived on time for my golf holiday. Unfortunately there was a faulty zip on one of the lower smaller pockets, which I managed to fix with a needle and thread. A bit easier than sending it back! The bag apart from that slight flaw was good.
