I could not speak highly enough of the ‘emergency’ care received from Richard and Rachel in Castle Lane. In that shop before, I have also received amazing care from Jenny and Sara.
Really great!

What makes my experience so amazing at Mackey opticians is that the staff are so friendly and always so smiley and you can honestly just have a conversation and it’s not awkward

I attended the Portadown branch for an eye health check with Aaron, after suffering with an eye infection and chronic dry eye symptoms. Today’s experience was amazing, his manner immediately put me at ease and explained everything and answered all my questions in a professional and reassuring manner. This appointment left me feeling that I would have some sense of normality again and confidence in the treatment plan for the future. It is so reassuring to know that there is someone who understands what you are going through and can offer help and support on a personal level.
Between Aaron and Rachel I had an extremely positive and reassuring experience and would definitely recommend visiting them in Portadown!

I highly recommend Mackey Opticians. I received a quick appointment as they knew i was worried about my vision. Aaron took time to give give an excellent test and explained in detail my results. Aaron is a great asset. And even with the glasses off very pleasant on the eye ladies 😜

Just had a routine eye test and the team where very welcoming and friendly. Been attending Mackey optians for years now and will continue being my go to eye specialist.

Been attending mackeys Glen road opticians for over 20 years, the service is outstanding, Rita and Sheila are the best girls to help advice and guide with what suits, always keeping me up to date on what offers are on too! And Orla the optician is so thorough with making sure I get the best prescription suited. 😊

The cookstown branch is absolutely brilliant. All the girls are fantastic, my daughter and I were in last week and they made us so welcome. They help you pick out glasses etc

Went in today with my partner and had my toddler with me normally where I go thats a problem. But not at mackey They were all exceptional. Especially Rachel. Ill be signing both of us up there in the very near future

My wife and I had been customers of Petticrew Opticians for many years and moved to Mackey Opticians with Andrew some years ago where we have continued to receive professional eye care, excellent service from pleasant staff and all at a fair price.
Since Andrew was off our appointment yesterday was with Aaron who we both found to be as professional, attentive and pleasant as we have become accustomed to. Welcome to Mackey's (and NI)Aaron!

Attended an eye test this morning in your Portadown branch. Elaine and Rachel were outstanding. Made me feel at ease as this is my first time with Mackeys.
When it came to choosing frames, the choice was unreal.
So many to choose from and all at affordable prices including designer frames.
Rachel helped me decide on frames that I totally loved the look of and size. It wasn’t until I put my other glasses on that I realised I’d picked a pair of frames with th Breast Cancer pink bow. It was definitely meant to be as I’m a survivor of Breast cancer and currently on treatment for the next few years.
Girls are friendly, sensitive, kind and very down to earth which I loved. Can’t wait to collect my new frames and I’ll be telling everyone to shop here in this family run buisness.

Very helpful friendly staff, absolutely brilliant with children as well. Eye test and glasses are very fairly priced and they have a fantastic selection of glasses.

Have been having eyesore from Orla for many years. Simply the best. Extremely thorough with clear explanations. Wouldn't go to anyone else.

We took our 3-year-old for her very first eye test at Mackeys Opticians and had such a positive experience.
