Not just one of the best - it is the best

This was one of the best, and easiest, experiences I have ever encountered. To begin with, the prices were excellent. They had just the item I needed. Delivery was next day. And the laptop looked like brand new. It was in perfect working order. To boot, there is a year's warrantee. I am absolutely delighted with MacKing.

Excellent customer service

Even though they made a mistake in despatching the wrong item I cannot fault their customer service. My email was answered within minutes and a replacement part was in the post within hours and this was two days before Christmas! Excellent service.

UPDATE AFTER YOUR REPLY:
the hardware product you sold us is not working, we immediately reported the problem to you the same day that the material you sold us was collected and that as already said was shipped in absolutely terrible conditions in addition to the product itself that was so dirty and poorly maintained that it should not and could not have been sold in those conditions.
In addition to this we paid the shipping costs (in terrible conditions as already said) at our expense and also the costs of customs duties, all at our expense.
Now after all this, should we still bear other expenses at our expense to send you back a hardware product of that kind that is broken and in those conditions, that any serious reseller on the WWW would never even have put up for sale?
We proposed to reimburse us at least the value of the card and at your expense request, organize the shipment of your broken card that you sold us; this would be serious behavior on your part to correctly resolve the problem, a problem that is certainly not our fault since we are the ones who have lost all the money, to date.
We have written to you other times to point this out and then you have not responded to us.
To err is human, but to continue to err is not, the choice is yours, we are esteemed IT technicians and in almost daily dialogue with Apple, you see if at least now you have the good sense to remedy your mistake, or you do not care about this, the choice is yours.
To remedy your mistake is very simple, you reimburse us for the amount of the defective hardware card that you sold us and then organize the collection of the shipment with the postal courier of your choice so that your defective card is returned to you.

the hardware was dirty with thermal paste and even with dust blocks, as if it had been removed from a mac and thrown randomly in some closet.
Shipping carried out without any minimum precaution both as shipping packaging (unsuitable cardboard) and card that was dancing in the package without any antistatic bag (a package absolutely not suitable for any type of local or foreign shipping).
The hardware was clearly not working, without any minimum doubt after professional tests carried out by us who are specialized technicians and the seller refused to reimburse us at least the cost of the defective card that he sold us (we had even made ourselves available not to ask them for the shipping cost and the costs of customs duties incurred).
As professionals like us, who buy Apple material for work, we were shocked, never seen anything like this in more than 20 years.

We are really sorry that the Mac Pro 6,1 Graphics Card you purchased was DOA and did not meet your expectations.

We have already offered you a replacement or a refund - but we are awaiting the graphics card back. We always require items back under our RTB warranty, terms which you have agreed to when placing your order.

You have sent numerous abusive emails in full capslock in both Italian and English and not confirmed whether or not you are returning the GPU.

It's a shame you have chosen to refuse these options but instead leave a negative review, in any case we are still happy to resolve this for you. If you think we have made a mistake and you have already sent the part back, please can you get in touch ASAP and send us the tracking number and we will get this sorted?

Saved the day with cheap parts

MacBook Air M2 DISASTER

I recently returned from holiday to find that a mug of coffee had been left on a desk and my lovely feline friend had tipped it towards my (STUPIDLY LEFT OPEN) M2 MacBook Air….

It still powered up incredibly but wouldn’t charge at all through the MagSafe or USB C port. Apple quoted me for a new logic board, top case and both MagSafe and USB C boards (over £750).

I called bookyard who are my go to but they don’t have any M2 parts in stock at the moment it seems. They recommended I gave Macking a call (these guys seem to help each other out which is nice) and they suggested from the issues I was having that starting with the USBC board and MagSafe 3 board was a good option, and see if it sorted my issues. My son is an automotive engineer who works in electronics so he offered to fix it for me.

I ordered the parts which cost just £27.00 and low and behold they fixed it. Got very lucky here!

Moral of the story - don’t leave coffee next to your open laptop when you go away and don’t blindly trust Apple genius for their diagnosis!!

Great products, great service

I have used MacKing for several years now and have always found their products to be of high quality, as described and at really competitive prices.
I have just upgraded my laptop to a MacBook Air and it’s in great condition, I’m really pleased.
The staff at MacKing have always been really helpful too; polite, professional and knowledgeable in their answers to my (sometimes many!) queries.
