We now have beautiful memories captured for time to come. If not the free photo shoot experience, I would never signed up my little one on as he is so shy and doesn't work well with strangers. Thank you for giving us this opportunity 💜

The most wonderful people ❤️ my daughter had the best time playing dress up and floating around as a fairy. Then having photos that capture the magic of that day but also that are just stunning! So happy I wish I could have brought every single one. They were really supportive around finance opportunities too.

We won a photoshoot so we chose to do the super hero photoshoot with my daughter and son. Lottie and her assistant were absolutely fantastic! It was so lovely to see the kids who are 2 and 5 enjoy the props and the atmosphere. The costumes were adorable and fit the kids well and overall we had such a memorable time!

The reason for the 4 star rating is on the viewing day we felt rushed. I believe there may have been a mix up and a double booking which led to this along with the fact they were running behind schedule and we got taken in late.

But I must say the photo package we chose was beautiful and we would encourage anyone who wants to try a unique photo experience to give this a go.

Our photoshoot experience was amazing. The photographer was great with our little one, entertaining him to get the best shots & very patient with him when he was a little fed up & wanted to feed. The photos came out so perfect I cried during the viewing. We love them. I've only give 4 stars because the prints are very expensive. Wonderful photos & great experience, just be prepared for the price tag! It was worth it though!

We won a photoshoot through one of the many competitions they have.

We had a great time at our photoshoot for our little boy. The photographer was amazing with him and got the perfect pictures, the team are so welcoming and friendly.

We had an appointment to view all of the photos and the final product is just perfect.

We came across Mackney Photography on Facebook and after looking at the photos they take we decided to contact them to have some photos done of our 9 month old. They were really quick at responding to us and also offered to take some family photos for us too.
We attended our appointment and felt so at ease, they were fantastic with our son, keeping him engaged so he would look at the camera. They asked us what type of photos we’d like and also supplied lovely props to capture the cutest of photos. We also had our family photos done and after, they arranged a date for us to return to the studio to look at the photos.
All the photos taken were amazing, we really struggled to choose which ones we wanted to order as they were all so good. At this appointment, they were really helpful and not pushy at all to order.
We decided on 7 photos to be printed, they advised it would take up to 12 weeks for these to be printed and returned to the studio- I was super happy when they called a few weeks earlier to say they’d arrived and we could arrange collection!
We now have some beautiful photos of our family and little boy that we will treasure forever.

We came for a baby portrait photoshoot in May. It was such a lovely experience. All the staff we encountered were so friendly but our photographer especially. She seemed very experienced with babies and my daughter loved her moment in the spotlight! The photographs were beautiful and chosen very thoughtfully.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The shoot alone was so relaxed and my 3 month old Grandson really posed and played upto the camera. The photos that they captured of him was beyond our expectations. Truly blown away. When coming back for our viewing it was also such a lovely day and not once did my daughter feel pressured into purchasing the many beautiful images. We sat with Wendy for sometime to whittle down to have the package we could afford and we've come away very happy customers. We would definitely come back for more shoots in the future

An absolutely wonderful experience with Mackey photography. My little girl came for a vintage photo shoot. Throughout, me and my fiancé was in awe watching our little one shine in the camera light and Beth, the lady who took our pictures was so wonderful and so good with our daughter, she was very patient with her inbetween taking photos and worked her magic bringing us photos that made me crumble with emotion. I am currently expecting another baby and we will 100% be coming back to get some more precious memories. Thank you all so so much xxx

Amazing experience from start to finish.
Made to feel so welcome and relaxed before our photos was taken, provided with clothes for my lad for the vintage scene.
Photographer made my son feel at ease and worked hard to obtain the perfect scene setting with props and silly sounds to engage my son the whole time.
The viewing was a completely different experience in itself, beyond words and didn't leave a dry eye in the room - absolutely outstanding. Gave us time to discuss and work out the best package for us, and worked with us to wittle down 40+ photos into frames and prints well over our 1hour slot session but wasn't rushed or pushed out the door.
Finally obtaining the frames and images which are phenomenal, over the moon, absolutely outstanding craftsmanship and images are crisp and such high quality. To capture true expressions and happiness in the eye speaks a thousands words, and takes a true professional so hats off to the girl (I can't remember her name unfortunately) You can't stop time but you can capture true spirit and frame it for a life time, which you can never put a price on.

This is my third time at Mackney photography and have to say the reason I come back is the customer service and of course the beautiful portraits they create. I really commend Wendy and Simon for sticking with their ethos of finishing their beautiful portraits and not giving in to bullies who try and drag them down on their pricing as they honestly cannot find anything else to complain about….You get exactly what you pay for here. I first came across them as I won a photoshoot on their facebook page – I was a little sceptical at first, but I thought I’d go with it and see what it was all about. My last shoot (not with Mackney) was a complete disaster as the photos taken were not great, and though I could get all the digitals for £80 – there really wasn’t anything to pick from. So I did enter the shoot with a little trepidation – but I needn’t have worried, as I was guided every step of the way to how the experience would unfold. From the first email and the friendly calls that came after, I always feel like I’m greeted by old friends. There’s plenty of outfits to choose from for the children as well as beautiful props. Then comes the viewing – they play a wonderful slideshow and really show off their work on a large cinema screen (I don’t think I’ve had a dry eye lol). They then go through all the products they offer in more detail – though there is a guide on their website!! I mean – I’ve had the session for free – so I was always intending to get a couple of prints – but in the end – I realised a frame would be so much more impactful and having had this on my wall for the last 7 years – I can honestly say it has brought me so much joy to see it every day. The quality of the print and the frame is out of this world – it’s incredible actually!!! That’s why I’ve been back to match up with my little girl 😊. I will always pick Mackney as their ethos is all about creating beautiful artwork. Nothing is hidden – the process is on their website and the staff are very transparent how they work too which I love! Nothing is ever too much trouble. Working in the customer service sector they will always have dissatisfied customers, but that’s not because of the Mackneys, they really, truly are a friendly bunch who care so much about their business. I will always 100% recommend them over and over again, thank you for the wonderful memories,

We had a truly amazing experience for my 11 YOD, she was so comfortable and had a lot of fun at the shoot with Simon who totally put her at ease. You are amazing Simon!

The viewing experience was superb and we all cried with joy to see the incredible images and hard work come to life. You are a such great team and bring an idea beyond just a photo. To us it’s art and you captured our daughters love and passion for swimming in a beautiful selection of unique outstanding photos.

This was our second visit and we loved every minute of our experience same as the first. We’re not shy at shouting from the roof tops how great you all are and we will return in the future. THANK YOU 😊

Wow 🤩! What can I say … from start to finish we were made to feel so welcome and just want to thank you all for producing the most wonderful portraits for me and my family ! We have just been to collect our beautiful wall art and we could not be happier with the finished results ! We can’t wait to hang them on our walls and we got something for my mum too and can’t wait to give her the montage that the viewer Patiently helped us put together, there really was so many to choose from , We were spoilt for choice ! We had a family shoot and the photographer was so patient with my 6 yr old boy who was a bit of a handful and love how you managed to capture his wonderful cheeky side and especially the ones of all of us together you really did give us portraits that will last a lifetime and wanted to thank everybody at the Mackney team that made this such a wonderful experience! We definitely spent more than we thought but know that the quality of your work is 5 star and we could not be happier the results !!!

I had such a good experience with Mackney. They listened to what I wanted and helped me choose the right package. They were really helpful and friendly and made me feel comfortable on the day of the photoshoot. It was a positive experience all round and I’m really happy with my end result!

Firstly, the customer service and team are really great and friendly so thank you.

We won a family portrait session with 1 print included. Fine, that sounded great, when we arrived the shoot felt fun and relaxed, we had a great time.

Upon doing our viewing, the photos looked great except there were more of just my wife and child without me than with me in, the ones I was in, arguably someone each time didn’t look great. I was a little bit upset about this. We went through all of the package options which are way too expensive, coming to the conclusion would just take our free print, to which we were told it could only be one of the family ones, meaning for the majority of the photo session the team were trying to upsell to us. The photos of wife and baby were incredible and really impactful but would cost £200 basic to get some of these.

Ethically, Mackney are crooks. Nothing is as it seems with them and they seem to do all the can to squeeze every penny out of you. The photos are over edited too which is a shame, I’m not a model, I don’t want to be airbrushed.

Summary: if you’re rich then go for it! If you’re not, book in with a local photographer and do some nice candid photos on a walk or location of importance to you, for the same price you’d get plenty of digital images to do with as you please.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, I would never have done this kind of thing due to my anxiety, but the whole team at Mackney Studios made me feel extremely comfortable and they were very patient with my son who was 7 months at the time. They explained exactly what was going to happen, asked if there was any photos I’d like to take (certain outfits, props etc), my son needed feeding and we felt at ease, not rushed or hurried due to the time. I have the most gorgeous photos of my son and cherish memories of the day to last a lifetime. I recommend this company to the highest level! Thank you to everyone (including the pup!) x

I couldn’t recommend enough! I won a pop master experience for my little boy who was 8 months at the time, the photographer was so patient with him and was just so lovely! She captured some amazing shots and a special moment between us! When I went to view the photos, it was a beautiful put together showing! The team have been lovely and friendly throughout my experience! I collected my photos and complementary mug & keyring, they made me very emotional as they were such amazing pieces and the quality is unreal! Id just like to say a massive thankyou to you all!
