Pulled in on a Sunday morning, had what I needed in stock as national tyres specialists didn't. All fitted in no time, very friendly team, no hassle and on my way in no time. Will be going back to g... See more

Brusque Staff. Poor Balancing. Wheel Nuts not torqued.
I purchased tyres from Black Circles and nearest Tyre Fitting Company was Madhouse Tyres (Who had quoted the tyres at twice the price that morning). Tyres were fine and arrived on time from Black Circles.
Madhouse fitter was very pushy in upselling a 'special offer if you buy today tracking service at half price' which was actually £50.00 instead of £80.00. I explained that I was getting some steering parts replaced so tracking wasn't needed until afterwards. Fitter kept trying to upsell. I then had to ask him to torque the wheel nuts after fitting. The weights came off both wheels after balancing, so I took them back to be rebalanced. First time he ever saw this apparently. Hmmm. If he concentrated on his job instead of the upselling, it might be done properly.
He didn't torque wheels again which I'll get my local garage to check. I would prefer not to go back to them. They have a high profile site, but its quite tight getting in. Happy to direct you in. No help directing you backing out (into traffic). I'd avoid if possible.
Fantastic service
Fantastic service. Took car to them and they took my wheels off and put another set on. Wheels were dipped, stripped, blasted, edges made good and a brand new set of tyres, which I supplied were fitted and balanced. They look brand new. The lads were great and overall I am a very happy chappy

Replacing 4 new tyres cost £300 (mid range new) on Fiesta....whereas the same via Blackcircles.com (Ironically, through Madhouse Tyres) would’ve cost £190 + tracking cost. Took car directly to Madhouse tyres as couldn’t get an appointment early enough through Blackcircles (which would’ve been to my home). Pointed out that they actually charge less through the third party and would they match it and they refused to negotiate. Had been using Madhouse for years and thought they were reasonable priced but not anymore. That’s the last visit there.
These people are grossly incompetent
These people are grossly incompetent.
I went in for new alloy wheels. Picked a set out and had them fitted reusing my tyres.when I drove out there's a grinding noise from the rear wheels so I went straight back in. They traced the noise to the locking wheel.nuts which they realised were longer than the wheel nuts so they ground them down.
I returned three days later after a short motorway run when I experienced vibration through the steering wheel. They took off the nearside wheels and rebalanced them. This seemed to cure it.
A week later I was back in with a knocking noise on the offside wheels. They took of the rear wheel and rebalanced it. They did not look at the front one. I told them that if the noise was still there I would take it to a Mercedes dealer and if the fault was madhouse fault I would be back to 'recover my costs.
Took it to a Merc dealer . They advised that the wheel nuts hadn't been torqued to the right level and the front wheel nuts were only hand tight and could have come off. Also the wheel bolts fitted were of the poorest quality.
I related all this back to Madhouse and asked them to reimburse me . Needless to say they fobbed me off.
These people are dangerous , incompetent and should not be allowed to operate. Sadly no effective Trading Standards authority operating now
Speedy, excellent service
Had an unfortunate blow out this morning on the way to a very important meeting. Madhouse tyres had someone out within the hour. Quick and friendly. Just the job in an emergency. Best service!
RIPOFF BE AWARE
THEY ARE A RIP OFF DO NOT USE STAY CLEAR YOU ARE WARNED.
THEY CHARGED ME PREMIUM PRICE FOR CHEAP TYRES, MAKING ALL SORTS OF PROMISES BUT AFTER 2 WEEKS I HAD TO CHANGE THOSE TYRES AS THEY HAD VERY POOR GRIP IN THE RAIN, THUS DANGEROUS!
Wheel refurbishment.
I had my wheels done with these guys and got them done very poorly. I had to take the car back in but still not happy.Scratch's were not done. They are new to wheel refurbishment and do not know what they are doing. Waste of money and time. I wanted to use them as a way of supporting the local businesses. I had my wheel done in another place before. Lesson learned. Better the devil you know.
Do not get your wheel alignment done there, they will take your money and won't do the job properly!
This review is based on the wheel alignment service and not the tyre shop itself. I paid £80 to have all 4 wheels aligned. They have the latest hunter laser system so I was happy to pay that price. The guy who was operating at the time was dyslexic so I had to help him enter the car details into the computer. He kept me waiting over half an hour and made me watch him scratching his head wondering why he can't get the tracking right! Eventually he gave up and told me the alignment has been completed. He printed the results and clearly the alignment was still out in some areas. He claimed that he left some of the areas not aligned on purpose because otherwise the tyres will wear out extremely fast. I was very naive and took is word for it. After driving my car I did feel a difference, it wasn't any better but worse than before! After sharing my experience at madhouse with others, it appears that I'm not the only one was has been ripped off. Everyone who had their car aligned with them did not feel much difference at all. I urge everyone DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THESE CLOWNS instead go to a proper place where the operators have a clue what they doing. I would give them zero stars if I could!
