IMPORTANT INFO FOR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS

IMPORTANT INFO FOR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS: This company will not handle and forward mail that is gifts or private sales. They will only work with mail resulting from business-to-business transactions and corporate online retail (EBay, Amazon, etc). If you bought something off your friend for a couple Euros, or someone wants to send you a gift, Mailboxde.com will not ship it internationally to you (as they told me repeatedly over e-mail and phone).

I really wish this was explained on the website, would have saved me 2 weeks of totally unhelpful auto-generated back-and-forths over e-mail and an all-nighter of 8 international phone calls as I desperately tried to upload documents they'd deem "official" enough (a letter is unacceptable! A Word document is unacceptable! if it doesn't have a Tax ID and business logo and verifiable retail price, it's unacceptable!), and convince them to mail the consolidated shipment I'd already paid for. I was basically told my shipment would be abandoned before they could mail a gift to me inside the shipment that didn't have a commercial invoice from EBay, Amazon, etc, or a tax ID'd business. Really disappointing and infuriating.

In the end, I had to have my consolidated shipment of vinyl records mailed to a friend of mine in Germany so he could mail it to me, like any normal human being is able to. What's the point of a mail forwarding business that won't forward your mail? Why is my friend able to mail this package to me without any difficulties but a business whose entire purpose is mailing stuff can't figure it out?

Dear Dan,

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We can forward gifts and private shipments, but only if they meet customs rules: a gift must be given completely free of charge, and a private sale (when the recipient pays the sender, even between friends) must be treated as a normal purchase with proper documentation (proof of value, seller details, etc.).

As your authorised customs declarant, we cannot simply state that a shipment is a gift. We need evidence - a simple letter or declaration from the original sender. The sender can attach this signed declaration directly to the package.

As a regulated forwarding company, we must be able to show these documents to customs authorities even years later, otherwise we are not legally allowed to export the item as declared.

We understand this is frustrating when expectations are different and we will work on explaining these requirements more clearly on our website (see our updated FAQ: https://www.mailboxde.com/faq.html#h18sizofgi71t0yf1r1sf7upn1wea2h4).

Reliable and careful service

I have been using Mailboxde.com for several years and have consistently received a high standard of service. Packages are always handled with exceptional care — nothing has ever arrived damaged or folded, and shipments are prepared and forwarded with great professionalism.

While the overall quality is excellent, I find the pricing somewhat on the higher side. My only real concern is related to the consolidation subscription system. In September 2024 I renewed my subscription, which worked perfectly. When it expired in September 2025, I renewed it about two weeks later. However, upon reactivation, the renewal period was counted from the original expiry date, effectively including the two weeks when the subscription was inactive. This approach may be inconvenient for customers who renew after a longer break.

Apart from this issue, I am very satisfied and grateful for their reliable and careful service. Mailboxde.com remains a first-class logistics partner, and I intend to continue using their services in the future.

Not recommendable

I recently used mailboxde.com to receive a parcel, and my experience was extremely disappointing. Despite having paid all shipping and handling fees, the company is refusing to deliver my parcel due to a discrepancy with my account name, which I could not modify in their system. They also ignored my proposal to have the parcel collected by a courier of my choice.

This situation has caused me significant stress, as the return deadline to the merchant is approaching, and I risk losing the money I paid for the product. I urge mailboxde.com to improve their customer service and handling of parcels, and I caution other customers to be careful when using their services.
This is unacceptable customer service—think twice before using them. NOT RECOMMENDABLE!!!

Since this did not match the details in your account, we were unable to release the parcel and, after 7 days, it had to be returned to the sender to prevent delivery to an unauthorized person. Could not Buy a Camera from Ebay Germany until..

I wanted to buy a camera from Ebay, Germany and the seller tried to ship to the US but got overwhelmed with the myriad paperwork.
So I decided to find a shipper. There were more than a half dozen.
Which to choose?
I turned to ChatGPt.
I asked "which is the most reliable, honest shipper to ship a camera from Germany to the US?"
Mailbox.de was at the head of their list.
So I picked them.
They know how to conform to the laws and are knowledgeable in customs regulations.
Anyway a big thank you to Mailbox.de.com.
Good job!

Awesome and reliable Parcel Forwarding service provider from Germany

I am a customer of Mailboxde.com GmbH parcel export service provider since 30th October 2024. Krusche Outdoor & Workwear an online German store recommended me to use this parcel export service provider.

Parcel forwarding through them is an enjoyable experience, as cost of shipping is very pocket- friendly with zero hidden costs, their customer support team and parcel processing team is very responsive and process is pretty straightforward.

Their customer support team guided me with the process of forwarding my first purchase from German store to India. It was an awesome experience.

Earlier for Shipping to India, only Czech and Deutsch Post option were available, but 2 -3 months back, they introduced UPS Express Saver, which is the best for very urgent shipping deliver to your doorstep in 4-5 working days, is awesome. I have used this service twice.

Their packaging is of excellent quality if you request stronger packing or consolidation of package.

Recently, you need to do identity verification for using EU Postal Services to prevent the misuse of postal address. Mailboxde.com GMBH Customer support assistance assists in getting it done very quickly. Thank you, Jan Ulrich for getting it done for me quickly without hassles.

If you wish to buy any product within the EU who does not ship to your country, Mailboxde.com GMBH is the answer. Your parcel is always in safe hands.
