Prompt response, very patient, detailed explanation

If you looked up the legal definition of Fraud by False Representation, you would see MailerSend. Even the name is misleading.

We wanted a cheap solution for transactional emails used internally. Clearly that was too much of an ask. They throw at you the SMTP relay credentials for you to plug into your application, & it doesn’t authenticate.

Nothing works with this company. Of course, they did the standard deflection practice that all staff use when they know that their product is s*** but can’t admit it by way of stating that “we have had no other complaints”, clearly not realising they have a Trustpilot profile with a one-star rating.

They then expect you to troubleshoot their product, like I have the time to do that. Unless a company is willing to pay me for my time, I will not troubleshoot another companies product. I design software myself, I would not dream of asking an end user to troubleshoot any software I design.

They even replied to their review claiming it works despite the mass of one-star reviews claiming the opposite.

Poor product, poor “support” staff. We closed our account within 24 hours.

Terrible Ethics!! Terrible Customer Service. They will increase their price and auto charge your card and not give you a credit back. Terrible.

Compared few mailing services and have been using MailerSend for awhile now and must say it is a pleasure to deal with and looking forward for their launch of text messaging service for Europe!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
It’s impossibly hard to use without any support or resources. This is waste of time and funds i have amazing skills for email management and marketing but this was the worst system ever and i wasn’t able to use it. They have horrible product and even horrible customer service which is never helpful. I canceled without being able to use their service and paid for standard plan but never got to use it. Wasted my time and nerves and there is no refunds whatsoever. If there is one company i definitely hate its this one. Save yourself and stay away! They don’t care and want to scam people into buying their shitty products .

I use MailerSend for their SMTP service, which is for certain amount of emails free. It works flawelessly and when I have a problem or some issue, I just turn to their live chat and ask them directly. They almost immediately respond and help you solve your issue. I will keep using them for SMTP service and if you are in the same boat as me (using Wordpress and would like to avoid sending emails via PHP) then Mailersend is the provider to go.

Tried MailerSend for 1 day couldn’t even send 3 test emails to my personal accounts. Account wasn’t approved, and my API key got blocked without explanation. Double-checked their terms, broke no rules, but got zero support or clarification. If you want surprises in production, go ahead. Otherwise, avoid this service.

They not only helped us identify what had gone wrong but also guided us through improving and optimizing our service's vulnerabilities. Thanks to their support, we were able to implement the necessary fixes and restore our service to normal operation.

I’m deeply disappointed with my experience using MailerSend. Here’s what happened and why I cannot recommend their services:

Unauthorized Charges: While on the Hobby Plan, I was shocked to receive an invoice for over $9,000 USD. Upon investigation, I found that an unauthorized user had upgraded my subscription without my consent. I immediately deleted the user, changed my admin password, and activated two-factor authentication (2FA) to secure my account.

Recurring Compromises: Despite being the only user on the account and securing it with 2FA, the same issue happened again. It is baffling how unauthorized activity could still occur, suggesting a deeper issue with MailerSend’s platform security.

Lack of Resolution: I reached out to MailerSend support, but their response has been inadequate. They failed to address how these breaches occurred or provide a satisfactory resolution. As a paying customer, I expected a prompt investigation and refund for the unauthorized charges, but this was not delivered.

Platform Security Concerns: Based on my experience, I believe the issue may not be limited to my account but could indicate a broader security vulnerability within MailerSend’s system. If their platform cannot protect accounts secured with 2FA, it raises serious concerns about their overall security infrastructure.

Recommendation: I cannot, in good conscience, recommend MailerSend to anyone. Their failure to secure accounts and address unauthorized activities has cost me time, money, and trust. If you’re considering using their service, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere.

I've been using MailerSend Free plan for about 2 years on a few websites - and since it hasn't missed a beat and have different needs now, I looked at upgrading.

I had some outside-the-box questions - support got back to me pronto, and Glenn answered and gave extra info I wouldn't have thought to ask.

All this helped me be able to decide if their service was going to meet my needs. Yep, it seems it will - so I upgraded.

Easy to setup, careful about spam protection and good customer support!

Technically support is top notch

Very good tool, it took me just one day to learn how it works and get it actually working on production. The interface is so clean and every text and button is exactly where expected. Of course, it works fantastic and mails are delivered inmediately and the way they're configured (conditional statements saved my life, no need to create lots of templates). The API documentantion is also fantastic. Plus, the support team is really fast and gives very understandable explanations that can be used and they work! 10 out of 10.

I previously had an account with mailersend with no issues, then our company got acquired, so we closed the previous account and opened a new one with the new company name. We applied for approval, but it was rejected, so we applied again with more information, we were surprised that the account got suspended with the following message "We have not been able to determine that your account fully complies with our policies and community standards." Although we provided a screenshots from our previous account but still we got suspended regardless. Don't waste your time, they are clearly incompetent. You might have your account suspended in the middle of a big marketing campaign. They will just cite their bullsh!t "polices and community standards", so avoid using them at all costs.
