First class - it was my first time purchasing a luxury watch and my inexperience showed.

His knowledge on watches is vast and his prices are very good it was a win win.
I felt a sense of relief from the very first time that I contacted him.

I can honestly say that he was invaluable to me and my search for the right watch.

Fantastic buying experience (online) with Mainspring Watches. Very easy to communicate with, with almost instant replies whatever time of day or night I messaged. Easy discussion over part exchange with very fair offers for my watches. My final purchase was an outstanding piece at a great price, securely packaged and delivered as soon as possible after I finalised payment. Altogether a great watch buying experience and will happily do so again.

I had been looking for a Franck Muller Conquistador for quite a while as getting ‘the right one’ was imperative! I came across one advertised through Mainspring Watches which fitted the criteria 100%
Through reading the reviews for the company and Tristan I felt reassured that I was dealing with right company who clearly cared about what they are doing and how important customer service was! I cannot speak highly enough of Tristan, we talked through questions I had regarding the specification etc prior to meeting and again it reassured me I was dealing with someone who has a real knowledge and passion for all things horological! I recently bought a Rolex Explorer II from Mainspring Watches and couldn't be happier with the overall experience (even when things didn’t go quite to plan). The watch initially developed a rare mechanical issue just a few weeks after arrival, but from the moment I contacted Tristan, his response was prompt, honest, and incredibly professional.

He arranged for the watch to be fully inspected and repaired at no cost to me, and even went above and beyond by covering a full service (something I won’t need to worry about for years now). Throughout the process, communication was faultless, and everything was handled with care and transparency.

To top it off, the original box and booklets (which had been missing) were tracked down and included when the watch was returned fully serviced, working perfectly, and looking better than ever.

Buying a luxury watch can sometimes be a leap of faith, but I’d have zero hesitation recommending Mainspring Watches. Tristan’s passion for what he does and his commitment to customer service genuinely sets the bar.

I initially contacted Mainspring as I wanted to buy and old school Omega Seamaster, before I made the trip I read that they preferred a trade to a sale so I took along my newer Omega.
Tristan was fantastic to chat with and very informative about all things horological.
The particular watch that I wanted wasn’t available for a week but due to the volume of beautiful timepieces on offer we made a trade which suited us both.
As I left it occurred to me that I didn’t feel like I’d been with a watch salesman for 90 minutes, it felt like I’d made a friend!
I have since been back twice to conduct further trades and will be there again in the new year.
They hold an excellent range competitively priced of stock, and will search for a particular piece if required.

I just made my second purchase with Mainspring. My grail watch came up for sale on their website. I was able to PX two of my watches to get what I wanted. I was given an excellent deal for both my items. Tristan was able to assist throughout the whole process. All communication was completed within an hour. Top marks all around, and it's nice to deal with people who can take the hassle out of watch buying.

This is an outstanding business in a second hand watch market that trades on trust and authenticity, Mainspring are my go to. I have bought, and sold, several watches through Tristan and I can’t recommend him highly enough. Not just in the usual course of business in sourcing great watches, repairing and refurbishing them but, in a recent unfortunate experience involving another watch business, Tristan stepped in without fee, to provide an independent, objective assessment of the watch (not bought through him) that has been critical in resolving my dispute with the third party. Tristan was a great guy to deal with , nothing was too much trouble. Traded against a Rolex Air-king . Watch as described, had video calls with the watch was added bonus. Help with sizing to my wrist no issues.
