We have been trying to get hold of John James the site manager of the block of flats regarding water damage from the flat above. Despite several emails and calls to Mainstay, we have had no contact from Mr James.

My bike was stolen from a secure parking area. I have asked Mainstay on numerous occasions to confirm that the CCTV footage is available and have not received a response for over a month. Property manager is simply ignoring my emails. I'm now putting in a DSAR and have raised a complaint.
Mainstay - poor property management, service levels and customer focus
Mainstay manage the Wessex in Bournemouth. This is a new build handed over to Mainstay approx. April 2021. In the public areas carpets are stained / dirty the walls are marked. The lifts are shabby and un clean. The emergency phone does not work in the lifts. The man entrance security doors fail to lock at times. The secure parking gates are nearly always jammed open. When you contact the management team you have to leave a message or email. they never return your call or mail.
0 stars - Unpleasant to deal with
As stated in other reviews this company deserve a 0 rating.Dealing with them inspires a sense of hopelessness Lack of transparency. Very very difficult to get information from them. Don’t believe their propaganda - committed to keeping service charges down means charging more than ever before. Doing the best for residents means making their lives a misery. They treat Leaseholders badly and only use them as a “cash cow”.
Awful customer service
Bad at responding to repairs. Impossible to get in contact with. Took over 6 months to get a new tenancy agreement sorted for a property.
Cannot recommend less.

There should be a option for 0 star as they are not even deserve to get 1star. The worse management company in the UK. Never go with them, they failed to provide even minimum standard of services and just want money and charges for extra services which even not available in my Flat. Government should close these type of cheap and worse management company. Very poor service.

they gave notive for a 2 days repair, then the water never came back and we kept getting false information and lies about the repairs.
7 days, and counting with no water supply, and no actual reliable date on when it will come back.

Very poor customer service. I emailed them several times with my queries and haven't heard from them at all. Avoid!
A racist company...
Please do not use this racist company; it should be closed immediately! I recently moved to a new apartment and requested sublet consent from this company. I sent several emails, and they kept ignoring me for one month!!! While my local friend received the reply promptly after sending them an email. They are so arrogant, and replying to your email depends on your ethnicity! I cannot believe why such behaviour is allowed in the UK!

Absolutely terrible and unprofessional team. You will be kept on the line for 1 hour, when someone answers they are extremely rude and hang up the phone.
You can be on the phone 1 hour and no help.

This place was amazing
This place was amazing. Super friendly staff. Extremely clean! They have no issues with taking care of anything you ask. The people at the front desk are very polite. Overall it’s a welcoming place. My daughter and I were very comfortable with our stay.. we will definitely recommend it to you!
Absolutely shocking.
Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. Customer service is completely non-existent. They just won’t reply to emails or answer any questions. The only thing they’ve ever put any effort into is requesting payment, any questions you raise about these invoices will simply be ignored. I raised a formal complaint about how they wouldn’t respond to any of my questions, that was 4 months ago and shock horror, they haven’t replied to that either. That is despite their website saying they resolve all complaints within 15 days. The communal areas of our building went months without being cleaned and genuine maintenance requests are just ignored. They also requested more money from the building next door saying they had gone over budget (God knows how when they do absolutely nothing!). The residents there queried this and audited them to find out they hadn’t overspent at all. They are beyond incompetent and we are doing all we can to get rid of them. I’ve no idea why anyone would ask this lot to manage their building, but please avoid like the plague.

This company are a money grabbing shambles
This company are a shambles, I have an area grass alongside my house which they have cut, albeit shoddily and I have complained and sent several emails and photos showing the state of the Pathways with overgrown hedges weeds and knee deep grass.
They are currently working in my road today, but I approached the workmen who said it wasn't on their jobsheet??
I called mainstay to ask why my grass wasn't part of the upkeep as I have sent 3emails already? a rather bungling man asked me to send more pictures which I refused, I told him if the work wasn't done by the end of the week, I'll do it myself and charge them £25 an hour.
At 66yrs old not something I should be doing.
